Closed Stopping After Class PV

The moment the bell rang, Renelle swept all of her belongings into her satchel and rushed out the door without looking back. Finally, that was over. 90 minutes of her life she would never get back. Honestly, next time she ought to just stay in her common room and play with Jeff. She might learn more that way.

As she headed down the corridors, the Ravenclaw mused about how those Pygmy puffs were so ridiculously fluffy. Was it something in their genes? Or did they have some sort of secret self-care technique they only applied when their owners weren’t looking? She supposed she would never know.

So engrossed was our dear Renelle in Pygmy morning routines, she hardly noticed the students all around her, and not even a very particular one she’d just had a less than successful interaction with not long ago. She really ought to get her head out of the clouds more, don’t you think?

But maybe it was a special sort of Pygmy magic? Like wizard magic, except more fluffy and bright? Yes, that made sense. Nodding slightly in a self-satisfied sort of way, Renelle finally glanced around at her surroundings. And wouldn’t you know it, just next to her was a very familiar face!

“You again?” She blurted out. Yes, she was just a cornucopia of delight and charm, wasn’t she?

Keith slowed his walking some, realizing he was basically sprinting with how fast he was walking. I ain't hungry, why am I rushing? Slow down Keith, jeez. What is wrong with you today? Get your head straight, gods why are you such a mess? Just get to lunch then you need to calm yourself. That ain't difficult, as long as we don't get stopped, GODS DAMNNIT KEITH SLOW THE HELL DOWN! YOU'RE HEADED TO LUNCH THERE IS NO NEED TO RUSH!" he thought to himself as he walked the hall, getting upset with himself because he kept waking faster then normal. He was upset with himself, embarrassed and nervous to see Renelle again. How would he even talk to her now that he'd gone and asked such a dumb question like that?

"How do you even talk to her now? Really Keith, you should have never asked her to the ball. She probably thinks your creepy or something now. You're a fool Keith, a complete utter fool." He thought as he slowed his walk down to blend in with the other kids walking, trying to clear his mind from all the negativity his brain was yapping about in his thoughts.

Keith got startled when he heard a girl's voice right beside him, which caused him to drop his sketch book which opened to a drawing of him and Colin by their tree they normally hung out at. Keith hated other people seeing those drawings but he hadn't noticed he dropped it cause he was staring at Renelle. "H-Hi" He said, trying to use a clear voice.

Renelle had a habit of saying something without thinking them over first. She really ought to do something about that. In hindsight, 'you again?' might not have been the best opening. Whatever though. She now had to roll with it.

Keith was so surprised when she suddenly popped up beside him, that he actually dropped some kind of book, which fell to the ground. Not that she could blame him. But heh, that was kind of funny. What was it with them and dropping stuff? In all seriousness, though, "Er, sorry about that."

"Hey, nice drawing." Cocking her head slightly, she saw that she now assumed to be a sketchbook was open to a page clearly depicting two people by a tree. Not bad. While Renelle herself was hopelessly inept in the creative arts (though it wasn’t for lack of trying), she did admire those who had the skills. For instance, Jeff was a ridiculously good dancer. That puff was going to hit it big one day.

It was perhaps lucky for Keith the Ravenclaw was so engrossed by his drawings, for it was how she did not even notice his gawking, nor awkward attempts at a greeting. She straightened up. "Who’s it of?"

Straightening himself back up, Keith looked at Renelle with a small smile, "'s nothin- er, fine, nevermind" He spoke, his voice getting quieter as he finished talking, realizing he didn't know what exactly to respond with.

"Oh, thanks," He smiled some, watching her look at the drawings, he hoped she didn't pick up the sketchbook, knowing he'd drawn her a few times, nothing bad, but he didn't want her to think he was creep or something. After she seemed to not be looking at the drawings anymore Keith picked up his sketchbook, holding it tightly against himself and looking back at her.

"Uh, its of me and my friend Colin, we hang out at that tree a lot. He's like one of my first friends and he's cool-" Keith spoke, blushing some as he realized he was talking more then he probably should, "and stuff" he finished off the sentence he'd been saying a few seconds before. He made sure his sketchbook was closed completely this time so it wouldn't open again if he dropped it again.

"I hope I didn't cause you to get in trouble... for being late to class he said, his voice normal in volume and tone, the nervousness not showing much at all.
