Mia was going outside to enjoy the fresh air. She always loved to run in the mornings as it helped wake her up from any sort of trance she was in. This morning was diffrent, she was just tiered still. She had stayed up for a while with her newfound friend, Sarah. She never really liked studying, only learning. Yet last night was lots of fun. It is true that she had allso told her about some Greek mythology. She was about to start her run then she heard someone call her name. She swung her head around and saw her blonde haired friend. Mia waved and started to jog over to her, barely making any noise. "Hi Sarah!" Mia's face split into a grin as she stopped next to her friend. "What are you doing out here so early?" Mia hadn't ever seen anyone outside before breakfast. She tied her hair up in a ponytail and did a quick stretch. I guess walking will be fine for today. Mia tied her shoes and started walking looking over her shoulder to see if Sarah was coming too. "Did you like the story of Cerberus yesterday?" Mia didn't mean to, but she involuntarily cocked her head to the side like a curious puppy.

Mia stepped out onto the path as her friend followed her. She started to run then stopped as she thought it would be hard to talk and run at the same time. She listened as the girl said that she would like to hear more story's, and that maybe she could bring her book and teach her. "Well I do know a few of the top of my head." Okay, she actually knew allot, but she usually forgot a bunch of the names. She stated ticking them off on her fingers. "There's the princess Atalanta, umm... medusa and percyus, there's the storys of all the gods, like how they were created and their parents,and stuff like that. There is allso Alcaeus,..." After a quisical glance from the fellow first year she decided to try that again. "There is allso Alcaeus, better know as hercules. Oh!, and there is Eros, better known as cupid. Did you know that Cupid was his Roman name? Then there are more story's of Percyus, and a princess." She had only just started to name off the story's. I hope she picks one sooner rather than later. "Allso if you tell me what kind of story you want there's probably going to be one like that."

Mia looked at Sarah as she said that she wanted something about love. Mia tilted her head up, scanning the canopy of trees as she thought. Then her face lit up. "I know two that you might like! There's one about Eros, and his wife who got turned into a goddess. Then there's the story of Hades and Persephony." Mia sighed, "Persephony is lucky she wasn't born from an egg!" Mia gave a little chuckle at that. She probably already knows about Hades and Persephony, but it was possible that she had never heard it. After an odd glance from her fellow first year she decided to explain herself. "Well, Persephones parents were... snakes" Mia had to bite her lip to stop herself from laughing hasiricly. She took a deep breath and started walking down the path, pine straw and old leaves crunching softly under her feet. She then waited for her friends reply to what story she would like to hear, Mia personally liked the stores diffrently depending on the day. If she had to pick today she would probably pick the tale of Eros and his wife. She had allways liked that one, with the ending being as sweet as possible.

Mia went on to tell Sarah a few stories about love and Greek Mythology. Sarah listened intently, not to just be nice and respectful to Mia, but because she was genuinely very interested in what she was saying. Usually when people were talking to Sarah about stuff like this, Sarah only listened because she felt like she had to, but this Greek Mythology was genuinely interesting! Sarah knew she would definitely be reading and learning about more Greek Mythology on her own.

Mia this is really interesting! You know so much about Greek Mythology. Your like an expert! Really!

Sarah checked her wrist watch that she always wore on her wrist. It was almost time for breakfast, and Sarah had to change out of her casual clothes into her uniform soon.

Should we start heading back to the castle? I need to change and preferable shower before classes.

Sarah let out a small chuckle. She wasn't that sweaty or anything, but she hadn't showered the night before and thought it would be appropriate to shower before her classes.

I'm probably going to head back to my dorm soon. Do you want to meet up for breakfast later or something? No pressure of course. I know you might be sitting with someone at the Slytherin table.
