Kaylee examined both girls. The Hufflepuff seemed all right, and the Slytherin did too, and Kaylee felt herself at ease when she started her motion a couple times before turning around to continue the conversation.
“I myself am a Half-Blood, but my dad had studied a bit of magic when he got older. But he is a Muggle nonetheless. And I find it striking that you and your parents both thought of you to be a Hufflepuff. I cannot see reasons you would be in Slytherin, but we did just meet.”, Kaylee tapped her chin.
Kaylee truly did believe that Camille did not belong in her house, but she had encountered three people so far that were unsatisfied with their house, and it turned out that they were very well-suited. Kaylee pushed back her hair and glanced at the board, which had nothing new. The potion spilled was cleaned up, and the Gryffindor was getting some help.
“ my apologies for coming off across as rude, Dawn, when we first met. I’ve been a little stressed with the beginning amount of homework because I have been concerned about other things. You did nothing wrong, an earnest mistake,”, Kaylee smiled.
“ as we have already discussed our classes, what’s your personal favorite. Mine would have to be either Charms or Transfiguration.”, Kaylee inquired.

I cannot see reasons you would be in Slytherin, but we did just meet.” The Ravenclaw's words struck up an old worry in Camille's mind. What if I'm only a Slytherin because I'm a pure blood? As of now, she didn't know any purebloods from other Houses, and this worried her slightly.
Kaylee continued after briefly apologizing to Dawn. “As we have already discussed our classes, what’s your personal favorite. Mine would have to be either Charms or Transfiguration.”
"Mine too!" Camille agreed sweetly. "However, I must say that Care of Magical Creatures is looking to be very exciting! Suppose you know what kind of animals we'll be learning about...?" She left the question open to answer for either of them, but it was more directed towards Kaylee.
Sierra hadn't really spoken much about her Care of Magical Creature classes, except when Camille asked. "Oh, they're alright," was always the answer, and Camille smartly dropped the subject every time.

Kaylee grinned, “The class I’ve most looking forward to has always been Care if Magical Creatures. I’ve always had an attraction to animals, especially those with magic, so yes I am also excited to take part in Care of Magical Creatures. I am quite interested in the more dangerous and mysterious animals, Thestrals and Hippogriffs, but I’m vying to see more about useful and harmless creatures too. I actually have a pet cat at home, but she’s nothing but special. But she’s still very intelligent and sweet,”.
She had always had a draw to animals, and was a complete genius when it came to mythical creature anatomy.
“I’ve always wanted to be an Auror, but magizoologist is a close second,”, she finished.
Her mother turned to look at her.
“You want to be a what?” she scowled.
“A magizoologist!”, Kaylee squealed and picked up Maple.
Maple, her cat, was lazily drooped in Kaylee’s arms, wearing a stethoscope.
“No. Magizoologist is only for people like Hufflepuffs. You want to be an Auror or Professor,”, her mother sighed and looked at her father.
Kaylee briefly frowned but covered it up by acting as though she had to scratch her chin.
“My parents never really wanted me to be a Magizoologist, but,”, Kaylee thought and lied, “Would support me anyhow.
“Anyways, have you guys gotten back the Charms homework? I got an Outstanding on it,”, Kaylee beamed.

Bad Day
Dawn herself was a little surprised by the accusations sha had made against Slytherins afew seconds ago. Camille didn't seem bothered by them, as she just kept on talking, "I am not like that at all. I'm sorry for my House's poor reputation in some areas. I can't control our past, but I am hoping to change the stereotyping in the future. If you'd like, I think we could be good friends, Dawn," Me too, Dawn thought. Camille paused for a moment, as if thinking, then continued talking, "In fact, I thought that I was going to be a Hufflepuff. I'm a pureblood, and my parents were a Slytherin and Hufflepuff respectively. My mother, who was in Hufflepuff, really thought that I was going to be in Hufflepuff because of how much I love to help others. Which is partially why I'd like to become the School Nurse upon my graduation."
It was Kaylee's turn to answer the blood status question, "I myself am a Half-Blood, but my dad had studied a bit of magic when he got older. But he is a Muggle nonetheless. And I find it striking that you and your parents both thought of you to be a Hufflepuff. I cannot see reasons you would be in Slytherin, but we did just meet." she said, then tapped her chin and continued talking, "My apologies for coming off across as rude, Dawn, when we first met. I’ve been a little stressed with the beginning amount of homework because I have been concerned about other things. You did nothing wrong, an earnest mistake," True, Dawn thought. "As we have already discussed our classes, what’s your personal favorite? Mine would have to be either Charms or Transfiguration."
Camille answered first, "Mine too!" Camille agreed. "However, I must say that Care of Magical Creatures is looking to be very exciting! Suppose you know what kind of animals we'll be learning about...?" No I don't, Dawn thought.
Kaylee seemed to agree, "The class I’ve most looking forward to has always been Care if Magical Creatures. Dawn thought long and hard about what her favorite class was, but, as usual, it was impossible to pick favorites. Why do you have to be so indecisive, Dawn?
Onto the next subject, "Anyways, have you guys gotten back the Charms homework? I got an Outstanding on it!" "Great job, Kaylee, I have to admit, I'm not very proud of my grades, two Acceptibles, two Exceeds Expectations, one Dreadful, and two Outstandings. I mean, I've gotten O's, but, it wasn't as many as I'd've hoped, How 'bout you Camie?"

"I actually have a pet cat at home, but she’s nothing but special. But she’s still very intelligent and sweet." When Kaylee mentioned her cat, Camille smiled a little curiously. I wonder if it's a Kneazle... she's a half-blood. She might know.
“I’ve always wanted to be an Auror, but magizoologist is a close second.” An Auror? she thought as the girl continued. That seems to be a very popular field of interest. She remembered one of her fellow Slytherins - a fellow first year girl named Brynlee - talking about how her family was full of Aurors. Does she realize how hard it is to become an Auror? A magizoologist is a really cool job though, from what I've heard.
“My parents never really wanted me to be a Magizoologist, but... Kaylee paused her for a brief second. "Would support me anyhow." Camille wanted to ask Kaylee why her parents didn't approve of a magizoologist career, but she was already starting another topic. "Anyways, have you guys gotten back the Charms homework? I got an Outstanding on it.”
Dawn had been relatively quiet until this point. Now, she spoke up cheerfully. "Great job, Kaylee, I have to admit, I'm not very proud of my grades, two Acceptibles, two Exceeds Expectations, one Dreadful, and two Outstandings. I mean, I've gotten O's, but, it wasn't as many as I'd've hoped, How 'bout you Camie?"
"No, I... I haven't gotten it back," Camille replied quietly. It was taking the professor a bit long to grade hers for some odd reason, and she figured it was because either she had lots to grade or it was poorly done. She hoped it wasn't the latter option.

"I actually have a pet cat at home, but she’s nothing but special. But she’s still very intelligent and sweet.", Kaylee said. When Camille heard this, she smiled.
"I’ve always wanted to be an Auror, but magizoologist is a close second.", when Kaylee said this, Camille looked like she was thinking.
Then Kaylee had asked, "Anyways, have you guys gotten back the Charms homework? I got an Outstanding on it." Dawn had responded to that with, "Great job, Kaylee, I have to admit, I'm not very proud of my grades, two Acceptables, two Exceeds Expectations, one Dreadful, and two Outstandings. I mean, I've gotten O's, but, it wasn't as many as I'd've hoped, How 'bout you Camie?"
It had taken Camille a long time to answer this question, either because she needed to think, or she was embarrassed by her answer. After a little while Camille said, "No, I... I haven't gotten it back," Hmmm, I wonder why that is?, Dawn thought.
"Camille," Oops, Camie, "Camie, Sorry," Dawn said, "That's really strange, it didn't take them more that a few days to grade mine." Dawn cut her original comment a little shorter because class time was running low, she needed to stir her potion. Looking into her cauldron, she noticed that the potion was done, even though when she had started talking, it was only half complete. "Hey girls, I left my potion sitting here half complete, has one of you been secretly working on it?"

"Camille," Dawn began, then stopped, looking apologetic. "Camie, Sorry," she picked up again. "That's really strange, it didn't take them more that a few days to grade mine." Dawn stopped talking and looked down into her cauldron.
Camille bit her lip at Dawn's remark. God, then I must have really screwed up... She shook it off and decided to address what Dawn had said just before. "I don't mind if you call me Camille, Dawn. Camie or Camille is fine. You can mix and match if you want," she told the girl with a teasing wink. She looked up at the board to make sure she was following along right. Kaylee had fallen a bit silent for some reason ever since she'd asked about the Charms homework. Camille's potion was finished, and she observed it proudly.
"Hey girls," Dawn spoke up. Camille looked up at the note of confusion in Dawn's voice. "I left my potion sitting here half complete, has one of you been secretly working on it?" Camille looked over into Dawn's potion. She was right: the potion was perfectly completed. "It wasn't me," Camille said quietly. That left only one logical explanation... the Ravenclaw that sat in front of them.

Kaylee smiled gently.
Of course she had been working on the Hufflepuff’s potion. She needed something to do because she had finished her potion awhile ago.
“My apologies for doing your work for you, it was I who was completing your potion”, Kaylee sprinkled in the last ingredient and it turned a pastel pink, then a deep green.
Kaylee heard the teacher announce time, and told us to clean out their cauldrons. With a flick of her wand, all of the contents disappeared and the materials were cleaned. The teacher explained a few things and dismissed the class. She cleaned up her stuff and waited for the girls.
“Since our period is over, would you two like to accompany me at the classroom? Nobody ever goes in there and we have plenty of room to do homework. If not, the library or grounds work just fine also,”, Kaylee smiled and shifted her satchel.
Kaylee was hoping they’d say yes. She needed some advice on things and wanted to prove to Maxwell that she could make friends with other people besides Gryffindors, because by this point she had 4, and one loud obnoxious Gryffindor was plenty, especially Maxwell. And, it was good to have other opinions.

Dawn was really confused, someone had been completing her potion for her. "I left my potion sitting here half complete, has one of you been secretly working on it?", "It wasn't me," Camille said. Kaylee smiled, "My apologies for doing your work for you, it was I who was completing your potion", "Thank you, Kaylee, I would never have gotten it done without you."
Just as the professor announced the end of the class, Kaylee sprinkled the last ingredient in and the potion turned pastel pink, then a dark green. The professor said to clean out their cauldrons. Kaylee flicked her wand, all of the contents vanished and their materials were cleaned. The professor explained for a little while and then dismissed the class. Kaylee cleaned up her stuff and waited for Dawn and Camille to do the same.
While doing this, Kaylee said, "Since our period is over, would you two like to accompany me at the classroom? Nobody ever goes in there and we have plenty of room to do homework. I need a new book to read anyway. That'd be cool, I've never been into the library." Dawn smiled, packed up her bag, and waited for Camille to answer the question.

My apologies for the late replies. Finals are awful.
Of course, it had been the Ravenclaw that finished Dawn's potion for her. Class ended, and everyone was dismissed. Camille was beginning to clean up her things as the other girls talked. She mildly listened in on the conversation, polite eavesdropping one might call it. After all, they were right there.
"Since our period is over, would you two like to accompany me at the classroom? Nobody ever goes in there and we have plenty of room to do homework. If not, the library or grounds work just fine also," Kaylee spoke up, already having her things together and put away. Camie was surprised that she didn't pack up Dawn's things as well!
Dawn replied quickly and happily, the ideal Hufflepuff. "Of course, Kaylee, I'd love to come. Can we go to the library to talk and do homework? I need a new book to read anyway. That'd be cool, I've never been into the library." She picked up her bag and both girls looked to Camie expectantly.
"Oh, yeah! Sure, that would be cool," she enthused. "I love going to the library. Dawn, may I recommend Quidditch Through the Ages or Hogwarts: A History."
