Dear Mum,
      Hey mum. It’s been a while. Hope you’ve been taking good care of the house.now that I’m not around. How’s life been? It’s been relatively fun at Hogwarts, but not really the smashing experience I expected. It’s been kind of lonely as usual. Actually, that’s mostly it. There’s not much else that I’m willing to tell you have to say, so I’ll end it here. If you want to feel like responding, the owl will wait just wait until I send my next letter and send your response with the owl. See you during Christmas break.
