Willow nodded and smiled. She was glad that Tracey was open to the idea of visiting her, even though they hadn't known each other very long. Perhaps this was the beginning of a lasting friendship!

"I could show you some of the really pretty places. I'd beware of my siblings, though. Most of them aren't terribly nice." She gave a small laugh, but it wasn't really funny. Willow wasn't one to complain, but it had been very hurtful when she was small and her older brothers and sisters bullied her. But now wasn't the time to reminisce over sad memories.

"I mostly read fantasy. It's just splendid, all the magic and what. I would love to help you find something you'd enjoy." She finished off her cookie and slid away her plate. "I believe anyone can be a reader if they have the right book." The redhead lass had always been bookworm, but she had never had anyone to share her book recommendations with. Hogwarts was like a breath of fresh air for her- the learning, the new friends, and the beauty of the grounds.

"Would there be anything specific you would like in a book? Or would you rather just find one and go with it?" Willow asked, flicking at the edge of her napkin.

Tracey saw Willow smile and nod, and she smiled brightly at her Irish friend. She thought it was cool having people from different cultures and backgrounds attending the school, since not everyone is the same nor are they raised the same, but the thought of it is very cool! She snapped out of her wandering thoughts when she heard Willow speaking. Tracey nodded her head before saying,
"Sure, that'd be great! Oh, mean siblings aren't good, but then again, I don't have any siblings. Hopefully they didn't do anything bad to you, oh, sorry if I'm bringing up any bad memories,"
Tracey really didn't want to be bringing up anything bad in Willow's mind, since she didn't want to make her friend sad, or hate her, or anything like that. She was gonna be sad if her roommate hated her, but decided to get rid of those thoughts when she heard her roommate speaking, telling her about what she mostly reads. Tracey nodded then said,
"Fantasy sounds interesting. I'd love the help!"
Fantasy indeed sounded interesting. She decided to eat the dessert that's on her plate, so they could go to the library to go look for a book for Tracey to read. But also so Willow could do whatever she needed to do in the library. Hopefully Tracey wouldn't get lost in the school library. That wouldn't be good. When she heard Willow asking, Tracey thought about it for a bit then said,
"You can recommend me your favorite fantasy book, for now, and then I'll see what book catches me eye,"

"Oh, don't worry about it. I'm pretty open about my feelings." Willow gave a little laugh, not wanting Tracey to feel that she was prying or making her upset. While shy, Willow wore her heart on her sleeve and didn't mind telling people about her feelings or past. It was totally foreign to her that Tracey didn't have any siblings; as the youngest, it was all she had ever known. And while she had endured much bullying from them, she was a little bit glad that she hadn't grown up alone.

"We can go to the library now if you'd like," The redhead offered and brushed a few crumbs off of her robes. In truth, the library was her favorite place and was looking forward to visiting it with a friend. She had spent most her her time there since arriving at Hogwarts and honestly enjoyed it so much she sometimes wished she could just move right in among the shelves. It would be a delight to share something so dear to her with her friend. "I would love to recommend you some things if you get stuck."

Willow stacked her silverware and napkin neatly on her plate and looked over at Tracey to see if she was ready and willing to go.

Tracey heard Willow speak, assuring her that Tracey didn't need to worry about Willow's feelings, and heard the girl let out a little laugh. She smiled at her friend, happy to have heard that, and nodded her head before saying,
"Oh, nice! I'm also pretty open about my feelings, but I tend to share them a lot more once I get to know someone well,"
Tracey then continued munching on the desserts she had picked up, and was about to pick up more, when she remembered that she will be going to the library with Willow, but then an idea popped into her head and she grinned before taking some more sweet treats, and wrapping them up in a napkin, and then she put the wrapped treats into her pocket, for a midnight snack later. She turned back to Willow, nodded her head, smiled at her, then said,
"Pretend you didn't see that. I'd love the help! It'll take me awhile to find the perfect book though. Oh, yeah, we should go to the library now, I'm all done, we can head there,"
Tracey then looked at her now empty plate and put her utensils on top of it, and looked back at Willow, wondering if they could go to the library soon, cause Tracey might steal some more sweet treats.

Willow smiled at Tracey's agreement. It didn't bother her that her friend was taking more sweets- everyone deserved treats now and then. Willow certainly wasn't above a midnight snack or two when she was experiencing cravings. In all honestly, she was over the moon that Tracey even wanted to hang out with her. She was also thrilled to be going to the library; sharing books with people was one of her favorite things to do.

"We can go ahead now," The girl offered and stood up, her Ravenclaw robes swishing around her ankles. They were slightly long on her, but that was a side effect of having rather short legs. "Thank you for coming with me. I'm really glad to have bumped into you," Willow said a bit shyly, letting her hair fall in front of her face to hide her pink cheeks. She just wanted Tracey to know that she appreciated their friendship, however new it was.

"I think I have a good book to show you," Willow smiled, thinking to the specific novel she thought Tracey would enjoy. Then, she began to make her way out of the Great Hall, excited to have made a friend and glad that they could continue to get to know each other.

Since Tracey was finished her food, she looked back at the sweets and decided to take some up with her for a midnight snack but also to give to her little kitten, Tiger. Tracey grabbed a napkin and took some sweets, then wrapped them up in the napkin and sealed it tightly, and placed it inside of her pocket. Tracey then heard Willow speak, after her friend finished speaking, Tracey sent her a smile and said,
"Alright, let's go! Your welcome! I'm glad to have met you too! Even though we just met, I feel like we've become great friends!"
Tracey was glad to have met Willow. Though their friendship hasn't lasted long, Tracey already felt like the two of them are besties or really good friends, which is a good thing. Tracey saw Willow stand up, so Tracey did the same. Tracey left the Ravenclaw table and slowly started to walk out of the Great Hall, as she was walking away, she heard Willow speak again. She waited for Willow to catch up to her before Tracey said,
"Oh, I'm excited then! Hopefully I'll like the book, but I think I will. I can't wait to read it!"
Though Tracey doesn't really like reading, she has a feeling that the book Willow has in mind for her will be a great book and she'll like it, well, that's what she hopes, but there is a possibility that she wouldn't like the book, but hopefully that wouldn't happen.
