Leona managed to get to a tree before most of the other kids would have. It was a bit cold than what she was used to on a normal day. Today was a Saturday so she could easily read outside for most of the day. She wasn't really lonely but she wanted to sit with someone. She grabbed her book 'Hogwarts, A History' it was a bit boring and she barely made progress even though she'd been reading it since the beginning of the year. It was a very big book but she read it anyway. It was a good book Leona thought even though she got bored all the time.
A bit of wind made it a little cold on the spot Leona was sitting. She didn't really notice that it was cold. She was too submerged in a very exciting part in the book. It seemed that every time she read it it got much more interesting and less boring. She moved a bit without noticing that some people were getting outside now. It wasn't that windy but a small bit of wind made Leona flinch and dropped her book on her foot. "Ow..." Why does that always happen?

Walking nearby was another student, with his pen and paper he soon found a spot in the grass and plopped himself down on to it. He seemed to be drawing something? Lysander was their name, an older first year. Some other kids walked by and stopped at where Lysander was sitting and complemented his drawing though he didn’t think they were that good like they were saying.
He soon looked over to his left and saw Leona sitting under a tree just reading and he was motivated to try and draw her, as a way to practice drawing people and settings. They wanted to go say hi but overthought it and he was too nervous to. They were amazed about how she could be reading with the wind, he could barely draw properly.
He soon spotted a sparrow and started sketching it. Lysander didn’t know much about birds, it wasn’t his specialty but he knows the basics. Once he was finished the sketch the bird flew away he wanted to draw more pictures of the sparrow and with his stupidity he slowly inched closer to Leona to see the bird better. Soon Lysander was at least a meter away from Leona.
Now just noticing her and how by accident he moved closer they finally just spoken and said hello.
“Oh uh hello, didn’t mean to interfere with your reading, very sorry” Lysander said soon covering his face by putting his hand over his face.

"Um...it's...fine. Hi my name is Leona, what's yours?" Leona noticed the boy that looked like he was either reading or drawing. The boy looked around her age but she didn't want to assume. She started to look back at her book and phase out into amazing history. It was a very interesting book though it was quite boring. She would often look up to see what some kids were doing. There was a sparrow next to her and it was really bothering her. She knew nothing about birds. It was a brown color and was a bit small. It almost looked like a sparrow, Leona knew about sparrows but not much.
"Shoo." Leona waved her hand to get the bird away from her. The sparrow just hopped away a bit. Well I won't scare it away. That didn't really help last time. She remembered the last time she chased a bird off. She had made a complete fool of herself. If the bird comes closer to her she will chase it off. What if this boy likes birds? Leona wants to become friends with the boy. He looks nice but like she usually does not trust people yet. He could easily be mean.

“Ah! Oh yeah my name,. It’s Lysander and it’s nice to meet you Leona” Lysander responded inching away from Leona so he doesn’t bother her. They soon look for his pencil but couldn’t find it, he searched around and still couldn’t find it. With now no way of drawing he just sighed and laid in the sunlight.
After a few minutes of basking in the warmth when he looked up he saw the same sparrow getting shooed away by Leona he watched it fly away a feather soon fluttered down and landed on his head. With a thought he grabbed a small ink container and tried using the sparrow feather as an old fashioned pen. It was unsuccessful, the sparrow feather was too small and it didn’t have a sharp enough edge to do anything, soon resulting in his hands covered in ink and a messed up sparrow feather.
With Lysander’s defeat he laid back in the grass and tried to remember where he might have put his pencil, he got up and walked back to where Leona was sitting and started searching for it again. Finally after 10 minutes of searching he found in a tall patch of grass. Soon just sitting a meter away from Leona but was just zooned into his artworks that the noise around him faded and whisked away.

"Is this your...pencil?" Leona grabbed something that was next to her. It was a normal pencil. She noticed Lysander's hands covered in ink and had wondered if the pencil was his. She looked back and then turned back. Wonder what that boy, Felix, is doing right now? She thinks, knowing that Felix could be doing anything at this moment.
How did he lose his pencil? I never lose mine. Leona looks back at Lysander. He looked as if he was lying on grass. Isn't that uncomfortable? She never lies on grass, she thinks its very annoying all the spiky grass poking her. Nearby there was a dandelion that probably just sprouted. She plucked it and then nicely fitted in her hair.
"Hey, Lysander? Are you good?" Leona looked at Lysander. Was he sleeping? Or was he ignoring her? Leona sighed and slouched back on the tree her legs crossed. She always did that it was kind of a habit. Some of her friends got annoyed when she did that. They would try to get her to sit properly. She just couldn't break that habit because it was too hard. Leona was raised with 'proper' Muggles. She thought that if she wasn't 'proper' then she would get yelled at.

“ah yes! Thank you!” Lysander replied with a glad expression soon grabbing the pencil with his ink covered hands. They had started drawing again and with excitement. He drew pigeons, and other birds that were ‘cool’ to him. As he drew he just forgot that ink was smudging on the paper.
He liked basking in the light, to them it was refreshing and recharging. The grass never bothered him, it could be as sharp as porcupine quills or as a soft blanket. He had always done this most the time just daydreaming about pigeons and small cute sparrows. The gust of wind blew his hair a bit and getting some rouge dead grass in his hair.
When Lysander got back up, and went into his silent trance it was just mostly about what his family was doing. Soon he was drawing his older brother with his favourite bird beside him. He threw in some toads and frogs as well. He had soon snapped out of it when he rubbed their eye and had gotten ink in it. Lysander was always a screw up with simple tasks like not getting the ink in his eye. With a stinging pain he pulled out a small water bottle he was hoping to use for water colouring but cleaning would be more important so he can actually see properly.

"Did you get ink in your eye?" Leona half laughed in worry seeing Lysander have a bit of ink in there eye. "Are you okay?" She sits up, so she can maybe help Lysander if he needs help. Is he okay? Or did it hurt? She looked around and then crawled a bit closer to Lysander. Leona had a water bottle in her bag that was most likely full. She noticed though that Lysander already had some water. She usually doesn't drink much which makes her friends and family annoyed. She always complains when she gets headaches, that she knows are her own fault.
Leona notices some pieces of paper sitting near Lysander. She doesn't bring them up. Wow, those are amazing. They almost look real! She looks around to make sure she doesn't say her thoughts out loud. She looked at the drawings for a couple of minutes and then turned to read a bit. She gets to a very interesting part but not as interesting as the beginning was.
It wasn't very windy anymore but there was some slow breeze. Alright wind, you've already scarred me. Come on. Leona was a bit more comfortable when there wasn't any wind. She has been terrified for awhile and usually shivers when there's wind.

"Oh, i'll be fine. its not as bad as a time I had gotten mud in my eye when I was catching frogs, but thank you" Lysander responded to Leona was a small smile. Lysander he'd to positions his arm in a weird way just to get the angle right so the water could actually get the ink out. all he was doing was thinking to himself about how embarrassing it is to be in this position near another student. After some trail and error they had gotten out most of the ink out his eye and it was stinging less.
"thank you for offering to help" Lysander said using a cloth they had in their art bag to wipe the water away from his eye. Lysander soon put the half full ink cartage in his art bag, closed to the tightest he could get it. They had kept the sketch paper out and the water bottle and had taken out a water closure plalet to colour a red squirrel sketch he had drawing that they had really liked. He had also included some nature aspects to it. Like some clovers and blades of grass where to squirrel was sitting as if his picture was real. They soon finished and laid down putting all the stuff back in his bag and laid it under his head as if a pillow.

"You're welcome, if...you ever need help...you can ask...me...If i'm not busy. But even then you can maybe ask me." Leona says to Lysander who finally looked like they got the ink out. Frogs? Mud in his eye? Yuck. She thinks of an image of there being mud in her eye. It would probably hurt. She looks at Lysander and wonders if they're kind or if they'll be like Felix was to her. Well I haven't hit him with a book. That's good.
Leona was quite lucky because if the wind blew her book, it was too heavy to fly away. "Do you...like...trees?" She asks as she notices Lysander coloring something. What if he doesn't? She wonders, if Lysander doesn't like trees then Leona may not get along with him. Should I ask him anything else? Or no... She turns away from Lysander to read and wait for them to maybe answer.
'Hogwarts, A History' seemed to get more and more interesting and boring at the same time. Leona had read barely anything but it seemed like she had read all of it. Wow how far I am from the end is...crazy. She stared at the words as images of what was happening flooded her mind.

"well thanks for the offer but hopefully i wont need to ask for any help after this incident!" Lysander said, with a small grin. He was so surprised from how friendly she was, with her being alone with a book. With a Dandelion he had found he was gluing blades of grass to the drawing he was working on.
His head popped up when he heard Leona mention trees, his older brother Wendal was a tree fanatic. was his jobs after all. So with Lysander knew somethings about different trees his brother worked with. Mostly tropical trees though; they soon put their sketch book away and tried to remember some stuff about the trees, with his horrible memory.
"I know somewhat about trees, only about tropical trees, like palm trees! but others as well" Lysander responded to Leona's question. "like how some people can make wine out of palm trees, its called Kallu and its mostly made in Africa" Lysander responded with a fact. "not to mention how you can eat a whole pine tree except the wood. The needles, pine cones, and sap are all edible, so technically you can eat your christmas tree if its a real pine tree" Lysander soon took a breath, he was a huge yapper when it came to subjects that they like or understand really well.
