Closed Sneak sneak Sneak... PV Justin Shin and Brookline Quinn

The bushes began moving near Andy as Justin got up from his nap. He had come to the Black Lake quite earlier to do homework, after meeting Andy and Brookline. However, just like the attempt in the Ravenclaw study room, the boy had completely passed out. He seemed to have rolled all the way to some bushes in his surprisingly deep sleep.

Justin scratched his head as he noticed Andy sitting by the fire.

"Wassup, Big Andy!" Justin called out with a wave and a smile. He looked down at his homework (which was severely wrinkled because he slept over it) and rubbed his chin with pursed lips. In the most beautiful handwriting in the world, Justin's assignment read:

Without warning, Justin grabbed his assignment, walked over to the fire, and threw the assignment in the fire.

"Oh, no... my hard work just ... burnt to a crisp. I think I need an extension. I can use you as a witness, right, Andy? I definitely need an extension," Justin smirked.

Justin took a deep breath of fresh air, and took off his school clothes to reveal some swimming shorts. He did some stretches and looked at his new friend, Andy.

"Now that I just got a free extension, I'd say the night officially begins now," Justin smirked as he ran and dived into the lake.

Brooke around an hour before curfew, went back to the tower to read History Of Magic, and about a half an hour before curfew, she slipped on her black and white swimsuit on and her dark navy blue-black cover-up around her shoulders, and bunched a towel under her arms.

As she snuck down the dark stairway to the Ravenclaw Common Room, she heard a noise. "Shit!!" Brooke hissed, she waited til she heard no noises, so she crept out again, being careful as ever, and slid out the door. She made her way to the Entrance Hall and tip-toed outside, in the dark starry night. It looked beautiful, Brooke felt like she could melt but she kept moving in case, a student or professor saw her closer the league heavy doors.

Once Brooke got to the Great Lake, she saw Andy and Justin, and saw Justin throw his homework in the fire. She saw the "The" before it shriveled up in the fire, smoke stirring up in the sky. She giggled, and said, "Sure, use that excuse, sure hope it works, then I'd use it too!" her face was scrunched up as if she was laughing.

"Dang, its dark out, didn't expect it to be this dark," Brooke chuckled and set her towel on the ground not too close to the fire, but close enough she could see where it was in the red embery light.

Brooke looked at the sky and a couple minutes later after flicking her gaze back to the fire and realized Justin had just took his school clothes. "Ugh, Justin, at least warn me!" Brooke groaned, covering her face in her hands but her Welsh accent held just a bit of gentle teasing.

When Brooke heard the splash she looked up again, hoping to not see it again, when she didn't she picked herself up and took off her dark navy blue-black cover-up and waded in the Great Lake, looking at the dark sky, noticing how beautiful it was.

"C'mon, Andy! Its warm!" Brooke looked back and called to Andy when she waded in knee-deep, her brunette fishtails played gently with the wind on her back.

Justin emerged from the water and pulled his hair back from his eyes.

"I think I saw a fish. Can't tell. It's dark," Justin said, glumly. "Oh, hi Brookline," Justin beamed. "Hope getting here wasn't too much trouble."

He glanced over at Andy who was the last Ravenclaw to get in. Justin smiled. He could tell that Andy really wanted to come here. As an aspiring magi-zoologist Justin recognized a fellow brother that craved adventure like he did. Something told Justin that Andy would grow up to be somebody amazing. After all, there were aspects of Andy that reminded Justin of himself... and Justin was going to be someone that was amazing when he grew up.

Justin jumped backwards into the water, and elementary backstroked through the calm water while staring at the stars. He pointed out every constellation he could find. "Orion's belt, Big Dipper, Cassiopeia's chair."

He then dived down to the dark waters like a hippo and emerged elsewhere in the lake, ten feet away. The boy turned around to face his two new friends.

"So word on the street, there's mermaid in this lake," Justin said. He stood up with the moon shining down on him. He then casually began swimming backstroke towards Brookline and Andy.

Looking up at the sky the Ravenclaw boy began yapping again, casually. "What if one falls for me?" Justin said. He mindlessly swam over to Brookline.

Justin stood up and grabbed his chin in thought. "It would never work. I could never explore the African savannahs with a mermaid. She'd dry out."

He then splashed the biggest wave of water at her face.

"What kind of dive was that? You better submerge," Justin teased. He laughed out loud and turned to Andy.

"You gon get in, or you scared?" Justin playfully teased, with his tongue out.

Andy was smiling now. He really wanted to jump in, but he did not have the proper clothes. Freak it. I don't care. I will jump in my robes if I want to. Andy jumped in. He did a front flip off a bench, felling the cool water. I might be not be a lazy-ass student, but sure do love swimming! Said Andy as he quickly ran through the water. I have another plan. So we head to the school broom rack, and you know what is next. We will FLY! Said Andy diving in the water. If we are lucky, we might even find some Gillyweed. Andy swam through the graceful water, laughing. But what if we do get caught by a bunch of annoying prefects? Said Andy as he swam in the water, diving. The water was hugging Andy and cooling him down. The great lake is a fun attraction, even better at night. Andy swam deeper into the lake. Guys! it is a water plant! Vuunus Usia! I knew it would be there! Andy swam as deep as he could again and felt the soil against the lake and the warm water, becoming cold. Okay, let's get those brooms of their racks! Said Andy getting out of the water.

Justin laughed in approval as Andy did a front flip into the lake. "CLOTHES IN?" Justin laughed a little more. "That's a man right there!" Justin yelled out as he flexed both is biceps in the air in support.

Andy said something and Justin repeated Andy's words quietly out loud. "Lazy-ass student..." He pondered in some thought and realized Andy was subtly teasing him. "Heeey! Messed up man. I couldn't help it. I worked so hard and my homework burned you know? You saw it, Andy!" Justin replied, laughing.

Andy then suggested to go to the school broom rack and fly. That sounded crazy fun. Justin also noticed that the fellow Ravenclaw boy was a real good swimmer too. He was natural in the water and having fun. 10/10 would bring Andy to a deserted island. He had the adventurous drive and survival skills.

Justin nodded in approval and thought to himself. Respect.

Justin chuckled and noticed that Andy was getting out of the lake. He then encouraged Brookline and Justin to leave as well to go to the broom rack.

"Already?" Justin chuckled. "We just got here. Dude, your clothes are soaked. There are clearly going to be wet marks on the brooms."

Justin circled in the water like a dolphin and began backstroking again to talk. "Let's enjoy the moment. We've only scratched the surface here," Justin grinned.

He swam over to Andy and whispered so Brookline could not hear, "Besides. My mom told me we have to tell girls this kind of stuff in advance. I don't know. Apparently they have outfits for every situation, that we have to cater to, or something? I'm not too sure myself."

Justin dived in the water again and popped back up like a meerkat somewhere else. "Let's get to know each other more. We're friends right?"

Justin stood up and faced his friends. "Brookie. Andy. What's your dream?"

Andy listened to Justin. He was right, since when the group will get on the brooms, their will be a wet mark. Andy really hoped he can dry himself off, or at least clean himself. He thought of a idea. Scourgify! Said Andy pointing at his muddy clothes. Guys, do you rememeber that their might be teachers watching us from the... Astronomy tower, let's just say. If we get caught, blame it on me. I started this whole thing. Said Andy shivering. It might of been spring, but boy, the air is sort of chilly when you get out of the water. You asked about what my dream is? Well it is nothing to do with magic at all. I might be a buisness man, or maybe, if I convince My millionare parents to finally to something other than buisness, than I might work as a minstery of magic worker. Said Andy, still shivering and looking at the bright moon. Now, is a time when we discuss how we keep hidden when hwe are on those brooms. One, we go VERY high up, and try to act like a grown adult. Anyone have something that is not their school uniform and swimming gear? SaidAndy looking at Brookline and Justin. Here, we will swim for now, but later, we have to go up into the air. Brookline, Justin, have your own brooms? I don't. Andy swam a bit deeper, looking if their are traces of mer people in sight. Those things might drown us, if we aren't careful. Thought Andy. Okay, when we are all done swimming, we can dry off, and head to the broom rack, not far from here. If you don't want to go to this broom rack activity, then I can only say that you are scared. Andy walked out of the water, and fell on the grass, to dry. Justin, Brookline, you know, should we be best friends? Said Andy taking a towel and rapping it around his school robes and dress suite, witch was soaking wet.

"Eh, not too much, almost got caught in the Common Room," Brooke shrugged at Justin. Brooke waded a bit deeper til the water chilling her thighs. She squealed.

Brooke waited for Andy to come in, before he did, Justin splashed a whole bout of water in her face. She shrieked, and squealed. She splashed Justin back, her face streaming with water.

Brookie? Brooke thought as Justin called her Brookie, then she shrugged and responded, "I'm not sure, ", shrugging her shoulders once more.

She waded a bit further, feeling braver then the last time, and the water reached to her swimsuit, soaking it, and she squealed. "Cold! That's cold! Brooms? Andy, are you serious? Breaking two rules in one night? Are you out of your mind? I'm in!" She squeaked, her excitement getting the better of her, as she waded slowly out, making sure her feet didn't get jabbed by the sharp rocks below.

Brooke followed Andy out of the lake, shivering. Gosh, its cold, she thought, her mind swirling with loads of cold thoughts. She saw Andy wrapping himself his towel and she snatched her towel and her cover-up, and rubbed her legs with the towel. "Yeh need the towel?" she asked, holding the white towel up to Justin, who were streaming with water. Then she started to giggled. Of course he'll need to use the towel. He had been swimming under water while Brooke had just been wading.

If Justin took the towel, Brooke would of wrapped her cover-up around her body, and then shivering, rubbing her covered arms. If he didn't take the towel, Brooke would place it on the ground besides her, and wrapped herself with her cover-up and shiver.

" Sorry, Andy, I don't have a broom, but we can always use the school brooms, if we're dry, of course. And sure," she smiled softly at the two Ravenclaw boys, though she knew they'll never replace Winnie and Peter but they were good enough. She shivered again, rubbing her arms, and looking left and right, to make sure no perfect or professor or even student was peeking through some bushes or whatever.

Justin heard Andy's proposal as best friends and replied with wit. "A little fast aren't you, sir? You gotta take me out to dinner first," Justin teasingly replied with friendly sarcasm.

Brookline then offered Justin her towel. Justin grabbed the towel and wrapped it around Brookline.

"I'm okay Brookie. Strong people like me can handle a bit of water. Here. Stay warm. You're shivering," Justin helped out, his first-child instincts kicking in.

He then shook his head to dry off his hair near the fire like a dog would shake themselves when they are wet. He took his hands and roughly rubbed his skin with his hands in a sweeping motion to remove the dropping water from his body.

"That's good enough," Justin said. His first-child tendencies kicked in again, as he pulled Brookline towards the fire, so that she would be warm.

He then turned towards Andy, who was still proposing to go fly on the school brooms. "Man, that's not a plan to avoid trouble. Be real. You just want to ride brooms at night," Justin replied laughing. "I'm down. Let's do it. Why not."

He then turned to Brookline. "What do you say, Brookie? Are we a trio now? If you say yes, then we need a name for the squad. Ooo maybe assign codenames? Based off of our favorite animals perhaps?"

Justin began looking up at the stars again. "My favorite is a lion so my codename can be Blackmane. In the world of lions, male lions with black fur are considered the most attractive," Justin said while checking out his reflection in the waters.

"Uh, you don't need t-" Brooke flushed as Justin wrapped the towel around her, her cheeks flaring a dark rosy color; she hadn't been this close to a boy since Peter moved. Err.., what's he doing? she thought, as the kind Ravenclaw boy took Brooke's arm and bringing her to the fire, and she felt the heat rise up in her cheeks.

He has to have some instinct of some kind to be doing something this kind to basically a stranger!? she thought, her arms still cold even by the warm embers, and her back slick from her wet fishtails. "Thanks," she managed she get out, embarrassment was all she felt right now in the pale light of the fire, her face a rosy glow, radiating her fair skin.

Brooke smiled as Justin spoke to Andy in what seemed like incredulous and like Justin has just heard something ridiculous at the same time. But he started laughing, he was gonna do the broom idea with Brooke and Andy.

"Yeah," The Ravenclaw girl spoke softly, her thick Welsh accent softened to a halt. She was starting at the orangey pink embers, they looked really pretty, as if the embers were calling out to her, and saying, Pick us up! We're pretty! The light filtered, and the pinkish color disappeared. It was just her imagination.

"Hmm...? oh yeah, that sounds cool!" she said, snapping out her trance, then said, " Mine can be Tigeress. Oh wait, that's my cat's name, then I can just be Ti-" She stopped abruptly. Justin looking at his reflection in the lake as he listened to Brooke. She kept her gaze on Justin a small moment longer, then continued "Uh, it can be Tiger, what about you Andy?"
