When She was at the library and made a new friend. At that time she figured out that Hogwarts was alot more like home than she thought.

During her first year here at Hogwarts, she has learned to "Come out of her shell" more.

She has learned to be patient and how to better make friends

She has lots of friends that she has made scince the begining of the year, but she would have to say that @Sarah Sailor is the best friend she has made. Sarah listens, and understands Mia.

• Who is their worst new enemy? How did they become enemies?

Mia is very forgiving and kind. During this first school year she hasn't had any problems with her peers. Though that might change next year.

• Have they accomplished the goals they set for themselves at the start of the year (if any)?

Her main goal during her first year was to make some friends, and she has!

• What goals would they like to set for the next year (if any)?

Next year she wants tog get in more misciff

Elisa's best memory was her first ever prank attempt with Jam Chong which did get them caught but left Elisa with a newly born love for pranks.

• What is their worst memory?

Elisa's worst memory was when her dance partner, Dennis hadnt turned up during the foxtrots lesson which had made her feel worthless and lose trust on him.

• What is the event that impacted them the most?

The event that impacted her the most was her interaction with Linda Ramirez near the lake which made her realize that not everyone had the same mindset and to communicate, Elisa had to leave the arrogance she had.

• In what ways have they improved / grew?

Elisa has improved from being her parents puppet who was meant to be like some perfect doll to a free willed person who started making decisions by herself to shape her personality and life without the involvement of her parents.

• What is the most significant change regarding their character, for good or for bad, either personality-wise or storyline-wise?

The most significant change of Elisa is her change from the previous rule loving, perfect self to the current playful prankster self who realised that sometimes life requires more than just being perfect.

• Who is their best new friend? How did they become friends?

Elisa currently doesn't have any best friend since she mostly goes solo and doesn't trust people a lot after what Dennis had done but in the future she would get someone with the same mindset as her.

• Who is their worst new enemy? How did they become enemies?

Elisa's worst enemies are Minnie Duke and Genevieve Delacourt after Elisa caught them badmouthing her due to her parseltongue ability and her family's muggles hatred.

• Have they accomplished the goals they set for themselves at the start of the year (if any)?

Yes, Elisa has accomplished her goal of making friends and her goal to start living freely without being controlled by anyone.

• What goals would they like to set for the next year (if any)?

Elisa would most likely set the goal to improve her relation with her friends for next year and to get into as much trouble as possible.

A year filled with surprises.

Professor Octavius taking all of my OOC knives.

Yes, Elisa is developing just the way I had thought of when I made her character.

My goal is to make Elisa go through as much as trauma as possible which would shape her character.

Sarah's best memory was her first arrival to Hogwarts where she met @Ash Brown and @May Snow on the Hogwarts Express.

Just recently, Sarah dropped her plate in the Great Hall and it shattered everywhere. It was so embarrassing!

• What is the event that impacted them the most?

Meeting other people! Sarah changes with every person she meets.

• In what ways have they improved / grew?

Sarah thought she knew everything there was to know about flying, but she's actually learned a lot in flying class.

• What is the most significant change regarding their character, for good or for bad, either personality-wise or storyline-wise?

Sarah always wanted to be seeker on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, but when she was added as Chaser, she realized how much she loves chasing!

• Who is their best new friend? How did they become friends?

@Mia Fuzy! They met in the library and Mia taught Sarah a little bit about greek mythology. Mia is a good friend that listens, but also contributes very well to the conversation.

• Who is their worst new enemy? How did they become enemies?

Fortunately, Sarah doesn't have any enemies yet!

• Have they accomplished the goals they set for themselves at the start of the year (if any)?

She made it on the Quidditch team, and has perfect marks so far in her favorite class! (Charms!)

To become a first string chaser on the Quidditch team, and maintain a "E" average with her grades.

Yes! I love the way Sarah is developing.

Getting comforted by an older student the very first day made me feel a lot better about being sorted into Slytherin. Thank you, Illowy!

Loosing my Standard Book of Spells! I searched the whole castle for it! I did find it eventually, but... still.

Probably meeting @Illowy Magnard. She was really nice and showed me that Slytherins aren't all monsters...

I definitely improved in holding a conversation with someone. Although... I'm still quite bad at it.

I 'opened up'!

Unfortunately, I don't think I've met a best friend yet... I have a few normal friends, but nothing extraordinary. That @Cass Ito seems fun though...

Well, I am pretty satisfied with my grades...

I didn't really expect anything of Elisa

At Hogwarts? Dancing with Kaitlyn at the dance currently.

Again at Hogwarts when she was getting bullied.

Probably her sorting. Being a Hufflepuff changed a lot.

Minnie has grown by being much less shy and more forward, I'm so happy for her!

Realizing that being in Hufflepuff wasn't bad, and neither was she.

Well, Perry is still her bestie, but a new best friend would be Linda Rameriz, who she met in a stall, crying.

Ahh, Danielle. Was very rude to Minnie when she was already having a bad day. Minnie pranked Danielle and that's how their enemyness (totally a word) started.

Well...Minnie's goal was to get better at magic, and look what happened! So....I would say yes.

• What goals would they like to set for the next year (if any)?

Well...to perhaps get a bit more social and become an amazing duelist.

Becoming girlfriends with Kaitlyn. It was so fun and cute to write, and it also just happened, without any owling at all!

• Is your character developing the way you expected them to? If not, how so?

Perhaps at the beginning of the year I had no idea how much of a troublemaker Minnie was going to turn out to be...But I've embraced it and now it's a full part of her!

• What goal would you like to accomplish in the next year (if anything, either for you or your character)?

Hm...maybe to get more lessons done and um....I don't know. Most of my stuff is very much spontaneous. But one goal I have is to deepen Minnie, and make her more of a rooted and deep character.

Successfully performing a charm for the first time (Levitation Charm for all the curious cats out there)

Being found in the Ballroom weeping over the thought of being alone.

Exploring a section of the grounds where she shouldn't have and coming to terms with her newfound goals and desires...

Becoming more confident and broadening her mind with all that to do with the Wizarding World.

Expanding her mind to this whole new world.

• Who is their best new friend? How did they become friends?

Emily considers @Emmanuel Bourne to be her best friend, if not one of them. She met him on the train ride to Hogwarts in which they bonded over similar backgrounds. He also helped her gain confidence in her abilities, such as helping her perform the Levitation Charm successfully when trying to recover her lost hair ribbon.

• Who is their worst new enemy? How did they become enemies?

Being a kind and gentle soul, Emily has yet to have an enemy per se, but no doubt there'll be someone that will fill that vacancy down the line.

• Have they accomplished the goals they set for themselves at the start of the year (if any)?

She's managed to make friends and began honing her skills in magic, though a particular goal has now been set in motion for down the line...

• What goals would they like to set for the next year (if any)?

To enhance her skills and expand her knowledge on magical creatures and magical species.

Absolutely - It'll be a slow burn in the long run, but I reckon everything so far has been set in motion.

To be able to chug along this little narrative I have and for Emily to have more experiences, particularly high-risk - A little danger never hurts anyone, right? Right...?

Quinn has surprisingly become a lot shyer over the course of the year. She was a lot more outgoing before the year started but she got a little overwhelmed by the sheer size of hogwarts.

• Who is their best new friend? How did they become friends?

Her new bestie is @Ophelia Northwell because they both live in dublin and rode the train home from christmas break together. They met up over the break and went to the ball together.

• Who is their worst new enemy? How did they become enemies?

@Dennis Tumberton they met in the courtyard and Quinn was discussing the use of dark arts in Hogwarts. Dennis thought they should be used, Quinn did not. Sharp words were thrown and they became enemies.

• Have they accomplished the goals they set for themselves at the start of the year (if any)?

Quinn became a quidditch player!

• What goals would they like to set for the next year (if any)?

Learn to be more outgoing! Also be a prefect!

Writing her first meet up with her crush

I actually planned for Quinn to be really social but ended up writing her as kinda shy.

• What goal would you like to accomplish in the next year (if anything, either for you or your character)?

Writing longer posts and developing Quinn's story more. Her 2nd year is going to be interesting...

Character Questions:

• What is their best memory?

At this very moment in time, graduating, getting married (even if she doesn't realize it yet), and starting a career. They're the start for even more wonderful things and memories down the line.

But in terms of other memories from this year she enjoyed, she was happy to get to make a ball dress for Dealla Prince, and chaperone her teammate Della Barfield to the 2023 fall ball. She also appreciated meeting up with Meenauh for one last ball, even if it ended horribly. The mock broom race Raizel hosted was also a memory she can look back on fondly.

• What is their worst memory?

It didn't happen this year, but because of how significant it is, the 2019 Masquerade Ball will always be Xailah's worst memory to date, due to the immense guilt she harbors from it. She very much believes that she holds partial blame for the death of the two young part-giant men that died on that night (she had information on them from a ball prior, but never told anyone about it). To this day she has nightmares about the night and the boys who died.

In terms of events that happened this year? Both Forbidden Forest mishaps would probably be the worst, since she accidentally caused her classmates to become collateral damage when things unexpectedly went awry. The events and what she saw in the woods don't inherently bother her on a deeper level, but she does carry guilt from indirectly getting her peers nearly killed.

• What is the event that impacted them the most?

Her marriage! It's probably the biggest part of her development to date. There will be a lot of things to consider going forward, and many changes she will be going through, be it for better or worse.

• In what ways have they improved / grew?

It took a really long time, but Xailah has started accepting herself as she goes on her search for inner peace. There's still quite a ways for her to go, but she's far better now than when she started out. She's learning that there is room for her to be be gentle while still being fierce.

• What is the most significant change regarding their character, for good or for bad, either personality-wise or storyline-wise?

Xailah had a lot of her after grad plans derailed (she was all set to tackle them solo, but that didn't happen), and while she regarded the changes with a lot of fear and uncertainty, they've actually worked out for the absolute best. Ironically. They'll be altering her growth and the course of her story.

• Who is their best new friend? How did they become friends?

I think her husband Barrow Leveret would be the best answer to this question? Their relationship is still very much a development, but his friendship will be the most impactful this year. He and Xailah met during a Yule party after he spooked her when she was trying to take a picture of the estate's front garden.

That said, Xailah has met (and further developed relationships with) plenty of great people throughout the year. Dorion, Howard, Pierre, Della, Opeila, Raizel, Astra Norrick, Finnegan Connor, and Lamik, just to name a few. That doesn't even cover all of them though.

• Who is their worst new enemy? How did they become enemies?

Xailah isn't necessarily the type of person to have "enemies" or at least nothing that she would really call an enemy, because she doesn't care enough to devote that amount of energy or time to someone. They would have to do something super heinous to earn that title. She does have people she'd rather avoid though, her most notable from this year would be Avery Leveret. He made some comments that rubbed her the wrong way when they first met, but she thinks of him as more of a nuisance than anything. It doesn't help that they're in-laws now. Wah-wah.

• Have they accomplished the goals they set for themselves at the start of the year (if any)?

Yes, she got her diploma and survived long enough to make it out of Hogwarts.

• What goals would they like to set for the next year (if any)?

Try and better herself for her new relationship and her own wellbeing.

• Which words (no more than five) would they use to summarize this year?

Turbulent for the better.

OOC:

• What was your favourite memory?

Not from this year, but I will always have a soft spot for the dream thread I wrote with Meenauh years ago. My part of the writing isn't all that great, looking back on it, but Meenauh's is wonderful. The thread set off one of my most valued relationships IC and OOC, so I can only love it dearly. I'd love to do a follow up thread trilogy one of these days, when Meenauh and I both have the time.

This year however, I really enjoyed the forbidden forest threads (even if they aren't complete, one day I'll blow off the dust). It brought me closer to some spectacular writers and people. One of my favorite experiences is watching them go wild over rolls. I've also really loved participating in Yuletide at Moredell, having some of my absolute most favorite and beloved people in one place where I can read their writing and gush to them about their characters has been an absolute joy. It's also provided some great character development, I've enjoyed seeing how intertwined and complicated everyone's connections IC are.

• Is your character developing the way you expected them to? If not, how so?

Xailah has always been in a weird spot for me in this setting, since this was my first time playing her as a child long term. She's always been played as an adult, save for short term interactions/flashbacks/what have you, in roleplay. I've always known what she would become, but stretching out everything between point A and B was a question mark for me.

I enjoy her current development in this setting, in fact she's actually exceeded my expectations for the better; but in all honesty, I hate most of her development from years 1-5, because it's an inaccurate representation of how she actually was as a child, and a character. I don't consider most of it canon. As a subpar writer I often found myself trying to keep up with the development of my other partners, and maintain the status quo. It feels so good to finally write the character I want to write here without having to worry about partners getting upset simply because my OC doesn't align with theirs. It was a rough journey but it was so worth it, and I've gained such wonderful and understanding friends and roleplay partners along the way, who have been nothing but patient and respectful of my boundaries. Needless to say they've made me a better writer and a happier roleplayer. Thank you Goons, Meenauh, so many of my other roleplay partners, and staff. It's been a privilege working and writing with you all.

• What goal would you like to accomplish in the next year (if anything, either for you or your character)?

I can't share the biggest goal just yet (but boy am I excited to kick it into action), but I'm really looking forward to exploring Xailah's new life in a stable relationship and home (as well as the development with her in-laws that have opened up as a result!), and her career paths in this setting. I'm also wanting to finally dive more into the familial side of Xailah's story and expand on how it influences her adult life. I'm also very excited to continue connecting with people I've waited far too long to roleplay with (and oh boy is there A LOT).
