How Do You Relate To Your Character OOC?

Relating Traits: Carefree, impish, a little stubborn and always laughing at his own misfortunes, tries to turn the tables and serious/dangerous situations comical, using himself as the butt. Piérre is loyal if called upon, but sometimes his silliness gets in the way of his character, pushing people he wants to be friends with away from him and sometimes winding him up in more trouble than if he had left well enough alone. If placed in a situation which called upon his sacrifice for the good of his friends and the ones he cares about (Romeo), he would be the one to plunge the dagger into his very own heart without a hesitation if he knew that it meant that they would live in in his stead. He is more likely to get murdered as to die peacefully, and if he can find himself a partner who can handle his slight madness and still love him for who he is, they would be a power couple to be wary around.

Funny enough, there aren’t many traits which connect me and Piérre, other than our abilities to land on our feet and keep going, no matter the chaos going on around us. I have a lot of stress and anxiety, and I show it outwardly a lot, but with Piérre, he keeps it canned up and expresses fear, disgust and other negative traits through expertly timed jokes. Our family dynamic is completely different too, with Piérre being raised from an orphan in an adoptive troupe, and I actually having lived with biological parents, a luxury I am very grateful for because I know a lot of my friends have divorced households. Really, you people are the heroes. Keep your chin up, and don’t give up, because everyone supports you if and when you need it.

What Inspired You: As a D&D player and Dungeon Master, I have many characters I can pull out of my sleeve at any given moment, and Piérre Marchonné was actually born hardly three months ago when I created a Dragonmarked of Passage human who was a bard. I wanted to make a character who was genuinely a handful and acted like a child even though he was 23, and I’ll be honest, I have a thing for making specifically Italian characters (their accent is just too fun to pass up!) Piérre is a gypsy (ringleader of his troupe) who is realizing the power of his mark (and who, for some reason has elf ears because he was born in the Feywilds), and slowly realizes that instead of being orphaned with his twin (who too possesses a mark of passage) for no evident cause, he actually belongs to a long line of lords who had belonged to the House of D’Orion, the mark of passage. Therefore fight for political power, will he be corrupted in the end, blah, blah, blah...

Extra Info:
- I plan on writing the D&D Piérre’s story in a young adult series for next Novel November called “Wings of Celestia,” which will explore political strifes, corruption that comes with power, and just exploring your inner person.
- I have photos all picked out for Piérre and Romeo (if I get to make him into a Durmstrang dNPC) as the twins grow throughout the years (spoiler, Piérre’s seventh year and adult faceclaim is Dorian Grey from Dragon Age, and no, Piérre is not gay, sorry
- I realized about three days in just how weird it was to have an Italian character at a British school, but I did research and found that Piérre was more likely to go to Hogwarts than any other location, so... cultural extensiveness? Pfft. If anyone wants to do a plot line about Piérre’s random heritage and do a bully thread, owl me, sounds like a lot of fun!

relating traits we share a lot of similarities, though i consider myself way more approachable and friendly than enoch lmao. we're both entj in terms of personality, which annoys my poor introverted roommates who are amazing enough to tolerate the extravagant social outings i drag them to. just like enoch, i have a nasally metropolitan new york accent, although it's much more slight. in looks, we're quite similar as well! our hairstyles are almost identical, though mine tends to be more unruly. in terms of eye color, we both exhibit heterochromia in different forms with enoch being complete and mine solely located around the iris. also, the eyebrows, oh god lol. absolute caterpillars, i tell ya.
what inspired you enoch was originally from an old roleplay between a friend and i, although he existed under different circumstances and another name. there were some changes to enoch's personality when i transferred him to HiO, but he still is the same conceited, snarky jerk that flaunts his status and wealth to get what he wants. i was originally going to settle for a more kind and gentle character, but to be honest, i absolutely adore writing as morally grey characters.
extra info i plan on making a shift in enoch's personality after his second or third year due to a tragedy or something of the sort. as much as i adore writing as confident and ambitious characters, i have a soft spot for poor, broken characters who were once happy souls without a care in the world.
