.From a young age Adonis had always been fascinated by the dark arts, but people didn't want to scare him or didn't think it was the time to have that conversation so they gave either gave him the surface information or brushed him off, 'the dark arts are bad' and 'stay in a child's place'. However, when he got his Hogwarts acceptance letter a chance to learn about the theory of the dark arts presented itself, Hogwarts was known for their knowledge-filled library after all. Yes, he will venture into -the-place-that-shall-not-be-named to research the dark arts, the theory of course. That brings us to the present, Adonis is currently in the library, gaping at the sight in front of him. he's been to other libraries but this one blows the others out of the water. Each tall shelf is filled with books on various subjects, but one book caught his eye, the title is covered by some kind of paper that seems to be peeling but the overall book is fine. He could tell that the book thoroughly explained the dark arts but thankfully contain nothing besides information. He never thought of it that way, but the one question on his mind is, Are the dark arts inherently evil? The book continued to describe and explain how certain dark objects work, apparently a music box can be cursed, Who would curse a music box?The Dark Arts are inconsistent, where everytime a branch is defeated, it only comes back "fiercer and cleverer" than before. It is therefore imperative that one's defences must be as versatile as these foul arts themselves. This might be the only time Adonis would ever be seen researching something in the library but he has to admit that it's not as nauseating and horrible as he thought it would be, it just causes him momentary discomfort. The feeling of eyes on him only caused him more discomfort but he didn't turn around, he doesn't like confrontation unless it's for good reason. To his credit he doesn't look up from the book again until he had stuffed his personal notebook containing his notes on what he's reading into his satchel before he started reading the book again.Jinx: Minor dark magic that causes a small but fixable problem.
Hex: Moderate dark magic that causes a big and potentially unfixable problem.
Curse: Major dark magic, made to genuinely cause someone harm. (Worst kind of dark magic, stay away!)

Questions:
1. Can someone cast a curse with pure intentions?
2. Could someone use an unforgivable to help another person?
3. What caused a witch/wizard to wake up one day and create something that would cause harm to someone else? One bad day? No reason?
4. Can someone curse hair? Don't want to lose my luscious locks.

Major Misunderstanding
Diana sat her quill in her inkwell with a huff. The parchment in front of her was covered. Endless lines of notes, doodles, and diagrams filled every corner of it. Still, the material eluded her. The transfiguration quiz was in only a few days but she couldn't find the motivation to continue studying. The Gryffindor girl had started as soon as the last class had ended for the day. It was a whole hour later yet she felt like no progress had been made.
She sighed and shifted in her chair, pulling her legs up onto her chair in a fetal position. The library was pretty crowded that day. Students of all years and houses filled up a majority of the seating. Most seemed to be working on their homework with varying degrees of success. Diana attempted to tune them out.
Pick up the quill. Pick up the quill. Pick up the quill. The voice in her head commanded but her body did not budge. Instead, her eyes fixed on one boy located near her. Unlike the majority of the crowd, the book he was reading was neither fiction nor for homework. (Unless he was an older year, though, she doubted it. Although he was tall he looked too young to be any age other than eleven or twelve like her.)
Craning her neck, Diana squinted to get a better view of the cover. The title was covered by paper which was strange. Did that not mean it was not supposed to be read? Whatever it was, it sparked her curiosity.
"Isn't that book one of the forbidden ones? The stuff that is like, illegal, you know?" Diana commented absently. It wasn't meant as a criticism of his actions more than a way of fulfilling her curiosities regarding why someone her age would be tempted by such darkness.

@Diana SaengkaewDanielle sighed in relief as she finally finished the grueling task of her homework for the classes she took. Yes, she was a Ravenclaw, but it did not make homework more enjoyable. Sure she enjoyed learning, but she could one-hundred percent do without all the homework that was assigned. She shut the Herbology book and began to pack up her ink, parchment, and quill, tucking the homework safely into a different pocket of her bag.
Picking up her bag and the Herbology book, she walked over to the shelf where she'd gotten it, slightly eyeing the boy who'd taken a book from the shelf, paper covering the cover. Without realizing it, she stared at the boy who began taking notes from the suspicious-looking book. Slowly sliding the Herbology book back into its spot, her head snapped in the opposite direction as she heard another girl speak, her words directed at the boy.
"Isn't that book one of the forbidden ones? The stuff that is like, illegal, you know?" the girl had said, causing Danielle to furrow her eyebrows. A forbidden book? Why was he reading it? What was it about? What if it was something bad?
Danielle decided to intervene, her own words leaving her mouth, "If it's a forbidden book, you shouldn't be reading it. It's forbidden for a reason." she said, trying to get a glance at the paper-covered book cover, hoping there might be a clue on what the book was about on the front. "You should put it back. Especially before you get in trouble." she suggested, hoping the idea of getting in trouble would scare the young boy into putting the book back onto the shelf and forgetting about it.

Adonis FairchildAbilities:xStats:----Time:AfternoonDate:--/--/--Outfit:xAdonis's once relaxed face was now one of confusion at the words of the girl in front of him, she has dark brown hair and largely proportioned lips, but the one question on his mind is; Why does she think the book is forbidden? He took it right off of the shelf not even a few feet away from him, "What do you mean forbidden? I wouldn't have it if it was forbidden." The situation got even more confusing as another girl chimed in agreeing with the other girl, she has blonde hair and smells like soke kind of flower. Once again his face was balled up in confusion, why does everyone think it's a forbidden book? "It's not forbidden, if it was forbidden it would be in the forbidden section, everyone knows that." The amusement coating his words making it clear their words went in one ear and out the other. The book only explains the theory of the dark arts. Maybe they're simple, like his aunt says about her colleagues, What does simple mean anyway? He shook the thought out of his head as he smiles at the girls nonchalantly, his hand unintentionally covering most of the words on the page he was reading except for Dark Arts, "Trust me, this book doesn't contain anything forbidden." For some reason, he feels that saying 'trust me' in a situation like this won't make them trust him but he doesn't think he has anything warranting suspicion so he should be fine. He used the hand that wasn't on the page to mess with his hair, in anyone else's eyes this may seem like a nervous tick but he just wanted to mess with his hair. His very blue eyes are in their normal dazed expression, one would think that he's the 'simple' one in this situation, which he just might be. "I'm Adonis by the way." Oddly enough he's still smiling at them.

What did he think she was? Diana could not resist rolling her eyes. Her mother had informed her it wasn't a good debate tactic to appear rude or informal. It "made the opponent consider you as a trivial case," in her words. That was not Diana's attitude. If someone was doing a bad job of making their case they deserved to know that. It was a favor to them, really, that she was letting them know that so they could fix it. It was also just cathartic.
"I mean, crime is forbidden. Even wearing your uniform wrong is considered forbidden at this school," she commented in return, resting her chin in one palm as she leaned on the study table, "My point is, people do forbidden things all the time. Why should I believe that is not the case, especially given that you just said 'trust me.' That's not an argument, you know." Because Diana lacked the awareness to stop while she was ahead, she continued on, "Why did I think the book was forbidden? Well, for one, you could look at the cover. The point of a library is to show the books and make them accessible. I think obscuring the title kind of goes against that objective, don't you think? Also, how did you know to find it if you could not see the title?" Diana questioned.
"Oh, and I'm Diana," The Gryffindor girl reciprocated the introduction before rambling on again, "Why do you want to learn forbidden things? I mean, that's cool of course but, like, why specifically? Are you planning on destroying the world or something? Ooh!" An idea popped into Diana's mind, "Do you have a dark lineage or like a curse or something you're trying to remedy?" She spoke bluntly but her imagination was running wild.
