Just A Quick Lap
Walking with @Kaitlyn Connor @Elisa Wagner

After leaving the ballroom, all three girls agreed to take a quick dander before going to classes. With the time ticking down, it was somewhat a speed walk as they paced around the corridors. They descended the stairs after passing the spare classrooms and began circling the classrooms on the First Floor. It was still a surprise to Emily just how many classes were on the floor, with Defence Against the Dark Arts and History of Magic lessons underway throughout the other year groups.
While Kaitlyn and Elisa were briefly chatting, Emily snuck a glance at a class in a Muggle Studies lesson. As far as Emily remembered, she wouldn't be able to take Muggle Studies until she was at least in Third Year. She figured how surreal it would be for a Muggle such as herself to take a class dedicated to the Muggle World.
The trio passed the Hufflepuff Common Room and on the ground floor, they proceeded through the corridors that ran alongside the courtyard. The sunshine veiled the stone paths in a gentle warmth, instantly making Emily's mood all that brighter, and she was in high spirits already to be spending time with her new friends.
"I didn't realise how bright it's gotten...!" Emily commented, finally contributing to the conversation after remaining quiet for too long. "It's a pity class will be starting soon. I don't know if I could concentrate when the weather's this nice." She ended with a chuckle. At least Emily would still have her positive energy if anything.

Thoughts: italicsKaitlyn walked with Emily and Elisa, after leaving the ballroom together. She’d had to be the reason for why their budding friend group got in trouble, or became late, so she made sure to stick close to Emily and Elisa. Despite not really talking much, she noticed that her stutter was virtually gone from her voice, when talking with the Hufflepuff and the Slytherin. In her opinion, that was a welcome fact.
“Elisa, since we are in Slytherin together, do you mind if I ask which dorm you chose? I’m in the Dorea Potter dorm. It reminds me very much of the dorm rooms at the muggle all-girls Catholic boarding school I attended before coming here. I figured it would make the transition … I guess smoother, if I saw a dorm room similar to what I had before,” she rattled off, curious about what Elisa chose, if she was willing to share. She never assumed anyone ever was.
Hearing the Hufflepuff’s voice, Kaitlyn turned to Emily, as she commented about how bright everything was, as the seasons were changing. “I know, I love the warmer weather … and all the plants and flowers that bloom now,” she concurred. “I know, I find it hard, as well. I try not to sit in view of a window, but sometimes, it cannot be helped,” she mused with a nod.Reducio

Just A Quick Lap
@Emily Shephard @Kaitlyn Connor
The girls went out of the ballroom, back to the busy castle and oncoming classes. Looks like I'll have to come up with what to say... Elisa thought nervously. The last thing she wanted was to be in an awkward silence with her new made friends. Fortunately, Kaitlyn spoke, and Elisa did her best to not overthink about what to say next.
The fellow Slytherin was asking about her dormitory. Elisa had never actually thought about that matter. Now that she did think about it, it would be quite nice to have a friend sharing a same sleeping space with her.
"Oh, I must admit I never thought about sharing dorms..." Elisa replied sheepishly, "I'm in the Pansy Parkinson dormitory though... she continued after a slight pause, "I don't know if we can change dorms after we already picked... But it would really be cool to sleep in a same space with friends!"
Elisa's brows slightly furrowed as she thought about the dormitory rules... Could we change dorms? I'm not so sure...
Hearing the comment Emily made about the weather, Elisa turned her head and looked out of the window. The weather was pretty good. Maybe the girls could have gone to the school grounds if they had more time.
Suddenly, with a pang, Elisa realised- I promised a fellow student help with a spell! At exactly... Oh no I'm already ten minutes late! Why did I forget about this? She looked wildly around, as if expecting... Expecting something bad to happen...
She had to explain! She couldn't just run off leaving her friends! Quick, quick, how will you explain? Elisa took a she-hoped-was-a-deep-breath, looked at Kaitlyn and Emily in their eyes, and said, "Girls, I- I have an urgent meeting... And I'm already late! It- it's... I have to help someone on a spell! Homework due tomorrow! I completely forgot about it- I, I'm so sorry girls! I really really would want to spend more time with you guys, but... You don't know how important this is! I'm super super sorry... I- I have to go... Uh- See you guys around!"
Elisa felt tears coming. No. She couldn't break down after such a wonderful experience. She just... had to go! Seeing the girls' puzzled faces, Elisa said one last "I- I'm really sorry... I love you guys, really! But I just- I just have to go" She was barely able to finish her sentence, tears chocking her.
Not wanting her new friends to see her crying, she turned her head and ran down the corridor, now sobbing openly. Why did I have to leave my friends? I never should've went in the ballroom, then I never would've been forced to part in such a rude way!
OOC Note: I'm actually going to be offline for the next three weeks, and Elisa's sudden disappearance would be very weird. That's why I made her go... Hope you guys are okay with it
If Kaitlyn and Emily want to comfort Elisa or have any further interaction with her, I give you guys the permission to godmod Elisa for this thread.
