@Markus Alberdale

Finn had always loved the rain. For as long as he could remember, he would excitedly run out into the streets and splash in the puddles as soon as the first trickles of rain water graced the surface of earth. That's why, when Finn noticed the rain begin to fall, he had grabbed Markus's hand and excitedly asked if he wanted to go catch frogs by the Great Lake together.

Still holding Markus's hand, tugging him along eagerly, they arrived at the Great Lake. Finn felt the mud squishing under his shoes and he laughed, picking up one leg and slamming it down to create a satisfying squelch sound.

He was already soaked from the rain, but he didn't mind. It was a forgiving May shower, and though the water was relentless, the air was still warm.

Finn looked out at the lake for a moment, letting himself reminisce on their makeshift Blossom Ball they'd thrown together just a few days before. Finn had been torn between obsessively replaying the events of that night and shoving them firmly out of his head ever since. Clearing his throat, he turned to Markus with a big grin.
"Doesn't it feel great?"

Catching frogs in the rain?

Markus would lying if the thought of running around in the rain and catching frogs made him feel surprised and mildly confused. What were they going to do with the frogs right after? Wouldn't their robes get dirty? Didn't his mother tell him about possibly getting sick when one gets wet by the rain? And wouldn't it be too cold?

His thoughts were cut off however as soon as Markus felt Finn hold his hand as they both ran. He was still slightly hesitant, yet he trusted Finn's judgement this time. He trusts Finn to know what he was doing and believed, that no matter how unusual it may seem, catching frogs in the rain would be fun.

Soon they were out of the castle and were heading towards the Great Lake. Looks like the wind was far from cold. The warm air and the cold rain that soaked his robes along with Finn holding his hand made him feel at ease.

As soon as they arrived, he watched Finn laugh. It was probably the warm breeze, but he was sure he felt twice as warm. He tried to hesitantly imitate the action as he let go of Finn's hand.

He had to admit, it was satisfying. He then proceeded to repeated it over and over again. He grinned back to Finn, feeling like a five year old.

"Not gonna lie, i didn't expect running around in the rain would feel this great!! My whole life i thought the rain was something to be avoided, but now my eyes have been opened-! Well not literally since the rain gets in the way of my glasses-"

He said with his eyes squinted before removing his glasses, placing them on his robes' pocket. He didn't have that much difficulty in seeing without his glasses though.

"There! Much better-- now where do frogs usually hide?"

Finn grinned at his friend and rolled up his sleeves, wiggling his fingers toward Markus - a display of his frog catchers. "You know me - always opening up your eyes and whatever!" He teased, furrowing his brows together in mock mischievousness. He clapped his hands together to signify his readiness, turning around and surveying the grounds at Markus' question.

"To find frogs you have to think like a frog," He began, stalking forward slowly, his body low to the ground. "They like it real dark and real wet." He dropped to the ground suddenly, lowering his voice. His hand slowly reached forward to tug back some tall grass...

"See?"

He turned around, body still on the ground, a small green frog resting in his cupped hands. He beamed up at Markus and elevated his hands to properly show him his catch. "Think like a frog. Should be easy, since I call you frog anyway." He giggled a bit at this.

Struggling to his feet, he showed Markus the frog again before he bent down and released it, watching as it looked dazed for a moment before quickly hopping off into the night. Finn rested his hands on his hips, clearly content with his work. "Now you try!" He ordered, his grin still stretching a thousand miles.
