Sarah Speaking

Sarah thought for a moment about what Mia was saying. She never really learned about greek mythology but that was definitely something she would have to look into.

That's really interesting. Really, I mean it. I'll have to do more research on Greek Mythology for sure.

Sarah took a look at her wrist watch. It was almost time to go back to her dorm. She hadn't even finished her homework! She only had charms left but Sarah always likes to have all her stuff finished before she went to bed so she didn't have to do anything in the morning.

Mia, I love talking about greek mythology but I do need to finish my charms homework now...

Sarah stopped herself. She didn't want to just dismiss Mia away of course... especially after how nice Mia has been!

How about we help each other out? Have you done your charms homework yet?

Sarah pulled a stack of papers out of her satchel and sorted through them until she found the scroll with her Charms homework.

Charms is one of my strongest subjects so I'd be happy to help you out of course! Only if you need though...

Sarah hoped Mia would stay. She really liked having a buddy around after all.

Mia didn't really need to do her charms work but she didn't want to leave the girl to study all by herself. She allso didn't want to bother her while she was studying. Mia could never study or read when someone else was around. She would just start talking to whoever was sitting next to her. But then the girl offered to help her. Mia started to grab her satchel and walk out of the library, then she turned around. "Bye! It was nice talking to you!" Mia was out in the corridor almost to the great hall to eat her dinner. She turned the corner and stopped dead in her tracks. Should I go back? Mia decided she would go back tomorrow and see if she was there. She sat down and started to eat then she stopped again.I forgot my Greek textbook! She slammed down her fork and stood up. She turned and ran down the halls at an even pace. When she reached the library she was bearly out of breath. She walked to the back of the library and smoothed out her hair as she walked hopping to look presentable and not like she had run just to get a book. She got to the table to find the girl sitting at the table with Mia's book at the opposite side of the table. She picked up the book and tucked it under her arm and got ready to leave. Then she turned around and sat back down. "Do you mind if I study with you?" She smiled as she asked teasingly.

Bye! It was nice talking to you!

Oh! Ok! Bye!

And then Mia left the room. Sarah wondered what happen. Why did Mia leave so quick? Did she not actually like Sarah? Was Sarah doing something wrong?

Oh well, Sarah needed to start her homework anyways. Sarah looked down at her Charms scroll but then she noticed that Mia had forgotten her Greek book. She really loved that book and Sarah didn't want Mia to loose it! Sarah wondered if she should go after Mia to return her book. Right then, Sarah thought of an idea. She would keep the Greek book and return it to Mia the next day, giving her a reason to talk to Mia. And while she returns it, she can invite Mia to go to lunch with her! It's the perfect plan! But then, right at that moment, Mia came running back into the library. Sarah's plan was foiled. She grabbed her book and continued to leave, only to stop in her tracks.

Do you mind if I study with you?

Sarah laughed. Mia was very disorganized at the moment. But Sarah was also very happy with this. She really liked Mia and was glad that she was going to spend more time with her.

Sure! Take a seat! Also I get the feeling that you don't want to work on charms. Is there another subject you want to work on?
