Sarah was very frustrated. It had been a very long day at Hogwarts. She had Charms class, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Flying. She was exhausted. All Sarah wanted to do was go to sleep in her dorm, but she wasn't able to because of all the homework she was given. She considered putting all her homework off to the side until tomorrow, but Sarah is a big over achiever and knew she should do it now.
Sarah was going to study in the common room but it was very loud in there with other Hufflepuffs talking and laughing, so she decided to study in the library. It was very quiet in the library. There were many other students studying. Almost all the other students had another person as a study buddy. Sarah was hit with loneliness. She wished she had a study buddy.
Sarah sat at a table near the back of the library. She dropped all her stuff on the table and sat down in a chair. She decided to start on Care for Magical Creatures homework first when she realized-
Shoot! I forgot my textbook in my dorm!
Sarah groaned. She got up from her seat and began searching the library for the right textbook. She finally found it in the back of the library.

Sarah went to grab the book but was startled when she saw someone on the other side of the book shelf.

Mia enjoyed going to the library to read and sometimes she would read her textbooks just for the fun of it, so today when she lost her book she just went to the shelves in the library and chose a random book. She looked around and saw people studying together. She frowned, she never thought she was lonely enough to need a study buddy but now she was starting to rethink that fact in her life.Before she could pull it off the shelf she saw a girl at the other side, she looked like a Hufflepuff. She was good at telling things about people just with a short observation. She took her hand off the book and walked over to the other side of the shelf with the girl. Mia was usually really shy but not around Hufflepuffs. They allways seemed to get her out of her shell figuratively speeking. She stuck her hand out infront of her and said "Hello my name is Mia." As soon as she said this a idea popped into her head. "would you like to study with me?" She never thought of herself as lonely but now she understood just how lonely she really was.

Sarah noticed the other girl on other side of the shelf. She had brown eyes, deep brown hair, freckles across her nose and under eyes, and Slytherin robes. Mia was secretly excited to have a study buddy but then her face of fun turned into a face of question, as the girl said she was studying for Care For Magical Creatures. Don't we have it third year. It wasn't on my report card? She shrugged off the worry and said "I was not studding but I was looking for a random book to read and well... I like animals magical or not." She followed the girl to another table that had a satchel that closely matched hers and sat down. "So... how do you have Care For Magical Creatures if you are a first year?" She could tell just about how old people around the school were just by sight. It was one of her many odd talents that she dosn't tell anyone about. Sarah opened the book and Mia scaned the souroundings. There were a few Hufflepuffs, and ravenclaws scattered around the library but other than that there weren't many others in there with them. They are probably playing and hanging out with their friends. Mia sat down next to Sarah and looked over at the book. She would have been content looking at the cover itself. It had pictures of griffins, and unicorns.

I was not studding but I was looking for a random book to read and well... I like animals magical or not.
Sarah got a buzz of excitement with this. She loved animals too! Mia and Sarah already had so much in common. Sarah giggled slightly to herself. She just met Mia after all!

Sarah and Mia were sitting at a table alone together in the farther back part of the library. Sarah let out a small laugh to herself when Mia said this.
Your right, I don't have that class. It's just that I have a lot of homework, so I decided to take a break with a fun read. I love this book. Even though it's a textbook. I can't wait for my third year where I can actually read this book with my class and a trained professor.
Sarah opened the book and she flipped through it to the page on unicorns. Sarah loved unicorns. She loved how they had a pure heart and silver blood.
I love unicorns. Did you know in the muggle world, the muggles don't even know they exist?

But if you like more dangerous animals, here are gargoyles!

Mia was relived and totaly agreed with sarah when she said "Your right, I don't have that class. It's just that I have a lot of homework, so I decided to take a break with a fun read. She smiled as she started talking about the magical creatures in the book from this magical world they were in. When she said "But if you like more dangerous animals, here are gargoyles!" she smiled. Mia allways liked to tame even the most dangerous lions and tigers and bears oh my! She laughed as the line from the old muggle movie ran through her mind from the wizard of oz. "I like the Greek Mythology especialy Cerberus do you know the story's because if not I can tell you all about them though some of them can be scary and bloody." She thought that maybe she would be able to tell this friend about the Greeks and their awesomeness. If anyone else in that open library looked at that table where Mia was sitting they would be able to see Mia was practically bouncing out of her chair with excitement.She had told all of her friends at her muggle school about all the storys that she had in her headd, some allso being, roman, norse, and egiption. She had allways liked Greek the best because of the way all of the storys were perfectly woven together, and needs another story to go on to the end.

I like the Greek Mythology especially Cerberus do you know the story's because if not I can tell you all about them though some of them can be scary and bloody.
Sarah thought a moment to herself. She vaguely remembered her father talking about some sort of greek mythology. But Sarah had definitely not heard of the Cerberus before.

Sarah opened the book she was reading about magical creatures. She flipped around until she found a page with a title that said, "Cerberus". It looked liked a huge scary dog with three heads! Sarah looked at the page in awe. Imagine seeing one of these monsters in real life! What if there was one around Hogwarts? Sarah's mind was running. She wondered about this monster. What if it wasn't actually that bloodthirsty as it looked? What if it was just a normal cuddly puppy but with three heads.....and huge dripping teeth... Mia looked at Sarah in astonisment when she said "Nope, I've never heard of a Cerberus before.", but she could understand it. She watched as the young hufflepuff opened the book flipping to a page with a scary loooking tree headed dog, with saliva dripping off his pointed teath. Mia never liked those depictions and that is why she made her own. She fished through her satchel, pulled out her book on greek mythology and fliped to the page of cerberus and showed sarah her bookmark. It showed a cuter version of the dog. She decided to start with what the monster dog repersents and what it does. "so Cerberus has three heads, symbolising past, presant, and future." She paused to put her bookmark back in her book before continuing. "he gaurds the entrance to the underworld." After a quisical glance from the fellow first year she decided to tell what the underworld is just because all the story's thread together and if you don't know one of the story's you aren't going to understand any of it.. "The underworld is where the souls of the dead go. Cerberus gaurds the entrance so no dead can get out, and no living can get in. Though multipal living souls can find ways to get in. If they figure out Cerberus' weakness, or if he just likes them."

It was still pretty terrifying, but a little... less terrifying? Sarah looked at each individual head, thinking about how Mia had said that they represented the past present and future.
He guards the entrance to the underworld.
Sarah was confused. The under- what? The under world? She had never heard of the underworld before. But for some reason Sarah didn't want to ask. She was afraid it would make her sound stupid. But Mia must have noticed her quizzical face and answered Sarah's unspoken question.
The underworld is where the souls of the dead go. Cerberus gaurds the entrance so no dead can get out, and no living can get in. Though multipal living souls can find ways to get in. If they figure out Cerberus' weakness, or if he just likes them.
The underworld sounded very interesting. Sarah had never heard of it before. She honestly never wondered where people went when they died. Sarah had many questions. Why could living souls not go in and why could deceased souls not come out?
My Grandmother passed when I was little. Do you think she is in the underworld? Do you think she saw the Cerberus?
Sarah bit her lip. Was the underworld a nice place? Was it just a myth? But there was one question that was nagging at Sarah the most. Sarah took a deep breath then asked-

Mia finished explaining the awnsers to her questions, then the girl asked another. My Grandmother passed when I was little. Do you think she is in the underworld? Do you think she saw the Cerberus? Mia scrached the back of her neck thinking. "Well it depends on what you belive, if you belive in greek then yeah she could be. Well that is if she had a proper greek funeral." She saw the girls quisical expression and answered her unasked question. "For a Greek funeral you just place a silver Greek coin under the deceased ones tung, then burn them." She tried to say this without making it sound scary. "It's more like how people will have people turned to ash so they can have them with them." She hoped the girl would understand that better. She decided to tell her why the coin was needed before continuing to awnser her question. "There is a river that the souls need to cross to get to the underworld, and there is a boat man and if you give him a silver coin he will take you across." She looked around and took a breath before continuing. "I'm sure your grandmother was a very nice lady so she is would probably go to the Asphodel Meadows. There are allso the fields of punishment, and Elysium. Elysium is where all the really good people go, so the people who saved someone or multipal people. You can probably guess what the fields of punishment are." She looked at the girl ready to awnser more questions. What is the Cerberus's weakness? "Well it isn't mutch of a weakness but he is very loyal to Hades so if you wish to see Hades for a formidable reason then he will let you pass."
