In year 2 lesson 4, question one. Is it asking us to do research and state what we think it is, or is there a place that clearly states what the spells are?

Hello Professor.
In the year 1 first lesson the second question say that “What are the two versions of the Sparks Charm you learnt in class? Explain the function and etymology of one of them in detail. Do your research.”
My question is what do you actually mean by versions? Do we have to choose one of the Sparks charm you taught? And even if we do, you have already said about the etymology and it's functions in the class, how can we do our research now?

In that lesson you can find answer on versions of Spark Charm as there's more than one type of it described in a class. That's gonna be your answer on first part of this question. Versions is a synonym for types/ kinds of, so I hope this will help you.
After you wrote this, you choose one of them and give etymology and function. If you can find everything in lesson, take it from there with trying to write it by your own words where possible. If you find that there's something you need and it's not in lesson, search for it on the internet.
Some Professors write their lectures in a way that lets you find all answers in a class, some will require you to search in Harry Potter wiki or in browser for the answer.
