finished Cloudy day vibes PV: Andy Loggins

She had only read a few pages, Bear had given up on fining a place to lay, and cuddled against Quinn's leg. It was a little hard to read, as the sun was not out, witch was quite sad, as she only came all the way out here to study in the sun. That coupled with only finding an open place on the ground, as well as the heavy books, equaled her not being in the best mood.

She just flipped the page when a younger boy came over, and started talking. He talked so much that she had some trouble keeping up with him. Bear looked up, and quickly became un interested, and got back to his nap. "Nice to meet you, um I'm Quinn." She said. Trying to remember what he had said, "Class was fine?" Although it was a weekend, she supposed he meet how they where the other day. "Why, thank you. I'm quite fond of them as well." She said when offered the toad.

As they boy talked on about himself, Quinn nodded along. Doing her very best to keep up. He was saying something about liking Potions, but not Astronomy, other things like that. Then he was asking her more questions, "Well let's see, I don't think I have a favorite or least favorite subject. Doughnuts are my favorite food, I don't really like eggrolls." She paused to think. "I'm in my second year, again.." She muttered the 'again'. "Oh! And i'm in the Slytherin house" That should cover it. At least she thought it did, there could have been something she forgot, as there was a lot of talking from the younger student.

She watched as he dug through his bag again, and offered her some pumpkin juice, "Oh no thank you. I'm really not the biggest fan of pumpkin juice." She told him in the nicest way she possibly could. "Yes, I do think we could. I have plenty of friend not in Slytherin. I also like all Professors equally." She was starting to wonder how one kid could talk so much.

Yet again, she watched him did through his bag. Only no food this time, just some homework. Witch gave her some relief, she mostly took the peppermint toad to be polite. "Ah, yes. I think I'm at least decent at the subject." She said to him, petting Bear at her side. "Also, I'm not sure how I haven't asked it, or well how you have yet to tell me." She added the last part on accident. "But, what's your name? I think I probably should know it if I am to help you with your homework." She gave a small shrug and put away her books. As it was looking like she would not be doing anymore reading.

"Its nice to meet you Andy." She said after he introduced himself. She then moved to see what he was pointing at in his own textbook. Asking what the difference between trolls, and giants was. "Well for starters, trolls are much smaller then giants, about half there size give or take." She pointed out where it said so in the book. "And another thing is that Giants can have kids with humans, were as trolls can not." She informed him.

Soon, an hour passed by, all with her helping the younger boy study. That was when he asked if she had a spell that could clean his hands. "As a matter of fact I do, well I think I do." She was not sure if it really worked on hands, It probably would not hurt to try at least. Quinn pulled out her wand were she had it safely tucked away, less a situation like last year happened when some kid stole it. "Alright, here it goes." She cleared her throat, and pointed her wand at Andy's sticky hands. "Scourgify" She moved it in the shape of a S, and like that his hands were sticky no more.

"And there you go! Sticky hands gone!" She smiled at her wand work. Proud that she still remembered how to cast it. "I actually learned that one in History of magic, so you should probably be learning it to soon enough." She laughed a little. Most if not all of her earlier frustration had vanished, now that she had relaxed for a while.

Andy then said he needed to go to bed, as well as work on his charms. "Oh! I did not even realize we where out for that long." she said looking up at the sky, and yep. It was still covered in clouds, but noticeably not as bright with the sun having started to set. She looked back over to him. "Well, good luck with your charms work Andy!" She said to him. Quinn hear a whisper come from his lips. About her being a nice friend. She smiled softly before replying to him. "You are to."

She saw his face turn red, before he ran off to presumably his common room. "Guess that means we should be off to." She looked down were Bear was still asleep on her leg. Nudging the cat awake she stood up, the spot where he was laying now warm with him not there. She picked up her heavy book's and made for the heavy door she came in. Thankfully for her and bear, an older student was nice enough to open the door for her. She thanked him and made her way to the dungeons, where her common room, sadly, was.
