That would mean, her meeting Vasilius after long years. He was one of those people, she met and instantly clicked with, her first ever friend. Who would not be excited. Not being able to contain the excitement within, she wrote a letter quick and short in a hurried writing.Re-reading it and being satisfied, Violet folded the letter and sent it away with an owl, a small smile lingering on her face.

I just came to know that the Durmstrang students would be coming to Hogwarts the next week!? You must have been informed. I am so looking forward to meet you. I do not believe that distance does friends apart, but still meeting face to face is so much better than writing letters. However, I am feeling a little hurt that I was not told of your upcoming arrival by you yourself.

After a couple of time of re-reading the letter, Vasilius finally sent it back with the same owl, feeling very excited but equally nervous of his future visit to Hogwarts.Vasilius was peacefully reading a book about Duelling at his quarters when he notices an owl fly towards him, the owl held a letter, possibly for him, As the young boy slowly took the letter from the owl, he noticed how it looked very different from the letters, he usually got from his family. As he opened the letter, he realised that it was from one of his closest friend Violet, a girl he had met back when he used to live in UK, she was the only person who stayed in contact with him even after not meeting each other for years, As he read the letter, the more blush covered his face, Violet's words were just fluttering him more and more, maybe he really did have a crush on her...
Vasilius then took out a piece of parchment and started writing his reply,

Reducio@Elisa Shakestra as Vasilius NighthawkViolet sat cross-legged on the yellow couch of her dorm, completely bored. She had a book in her hand but all her focus was on the upcoming ball. She was working hard to set it up, and was excited to see people's reactions but probably was much more excited about meeting Vasilius.
That was when she suddenly heard a low screech from near the window. Looking over, she found an owl perched on the dorm's windowsill holding a letter. She got up from the couch and headed towards the window pane. As she got closer, she realised it was the same owl that she had sent an owl with to Vasilius. She smiled reading his letter, but her smile dropped a little as she reached the end of the letter. She quickly grabbed a parchment and a quill, and wrote another letter to him.Violet folded the letter and sent it away with the owl. It was always a bit funny, how Vasilius would sound so serious all the time while Violet was his exact opposite, always unserious while writing a letter, still they both were the best of 'long-distanced' friends.April 5, 2024

You would probably already in Hogwarts, by the time this letter reaches you. Sending letters can be so slow. (Just for you to know, I sighed after I wrote the previous sentence.)
Are we talking about Elisa here? You might as well face her... But how about you ask for forgiveness? Or more like, apologise to her...? Maybe she will accept the apology or even if she does not, you will be able to shake off the guilt.
