George loved the abandoned bathrooms. It’s a place of solitude and peace for him, it’s different than the usual bustle in the other places. He could read, study, or talk to the ghosts. Sometimes he got lonely, there was not that much life in the stalls.
George walked into his usual stall, a corner one with his stuff in it, no one went in there because it was the “Creepy Stall”. He sat down on the floor in the corner (He was clearly visible, no one ever noticed though) with a good old book, a classic Muggle book, “Marley and Me”. He loved this book, it was a story about a man and his dog and their ongoing adventures. It was quite the challenge getting here. He was approached by two Gryffindor girls who were trying to “Have a conversation” with him. Yeah, right he thought, like anyone would. Then after that a Slytherin boy approached him and tried to convince him to play a game. George just ran from that situation. At last, he could sit back and relax and read now, he thought. As he laid back he got a feeling that someone would come in and notice him, he brushed it off.

Kaylee shook off Maxwell trying to grab at her. She sprinted through the halls, trying to find some sanctuary from the noise of other students. Kaylee burst into a room, quietly crying. It was a bathroom, not designated to boys or girls, she thought, and slid against the walls. She sniffed and put her head between her knees. She heard something shift in the room. Kaylee raised her head and studied the room. The cracked walls and dirty floors gave off an unsanitary feel, and the broken sink in the corner was silently dripping water. Kaylee quietly stood up and began checking stalls. No one was going to be using them, off course, but why would someone be in here? Kaylee pushed open each door, each with a slightly yellowed toilet and some cracks or water around the toilet. There was one toilet stall left, the “Creepy Stall”. Kaylee knew it wasn’t real, but she knocked on the stall. There was no response, so she pushed it open. Kaylee shrieked as she saw a boy sitting on one of the stalls, and slipped backwards, landing on her hands.
“Aaarrrrghhhh! Why are you in here?” Kaylee glared at the boy and yelled, and wiped tears from her eyes.

River had some free time, finally. It had been such a busy day, no, a busy week, so having a bit of time was more than appropriate.
Really, River didn’t want to lay any plans of how to spend this free time. She’d just follow wherever the day brought her. And usually, that was the library or the grounds. Often she’d bring her book to read a little, get some fresh air, maybe meet some new people or just relax. Today seemed like a day where some alone time would be nice. She really wasn’t in the mood to approach and make new friends, sp the library did seem like the right place to go. It was quiet, and nobody would come up and start a conversation.

She started heading in the dorection of the library, and decided to go a path that would lead her past the toilets. She was going to stop by there, so she wouldn’t need to get up after sitting down with a book later.
She’d never used the toilets in this area before. Normally she didn’t pass this place very often, but she knew where they were none the less.
River walked up and pushed the door quitely open, not fully paying attention to which door it was. She slowed to a halt as she’d just passed the doorway. Ew, what a dirty bathroom... she thought as she looked around the room. It wasn’t at all like the other toilets she’d been to.
She scanned the room, as her gaze landed on a girl, not too far away, staring into one of the stalls. She hadn’t seemed to notice River entering. She looked frightened?
Ugh! I really didn’t feel like human interaction today... River started slowly backing up, trying to escape the situation, as she realized that it looked like the girl had been crying.
She didn’t feel like leaving the girl like this, perhaps she needed help?
«Uhm...», River started carefully. «Are you okay?», she continued, and walked closer to the girl. Suddenly, she saw a boy sitting on the floor, in the stall. What in the? Why is he sitting in this gross place? River thought to herself as her face turned to a confused state.

George was utterly surprised and confused, but he slightly smiled. “Hello, I am in here because this is my place of solitude and happiness” He stood up and brushed himself off and extended his hand. “Sorry about scaring you, lads. I am George Taylor.”
George had a look of happiness and a feeling he usually doesn’t have, peace.

He looked around and met their confused glares. “Oh, this stall isn’t haunted by the evil Slytherin you guys have heard of, It’s a silly tail. All of the ghosts here are quite nice, you’ll come to find. This here stall is haunted by a former Hufflepuff prefect.” As if on cue, a small laugh was heard and George descended into the air, landing on top of the edge of the stall door.

George hung off the edge of the door by his legs. “These ghosts are very kind and nice, no need to be afraid.” He looked at them with sympathy, Another encounter with a group of myth believers, these folks were alright thought, they seemed nice, but very innocent. “Come sit down in the stall.”

The stall was still very dirty, but hid in it was everything George needed. Underneath the sink was Ink and Study Books, in the corner was blankets and in the cubby where toilet paper was hung paper.

Kaylee looked around the room, trying to catch a glimpse of the wisps of ghosts. She knew the stall wasn’t haunted, just visited from time to time by the phenomenons of ghosts, and she wondered why they hung here so much. She glanced at the boy, messy brown hair and big, brown eyes. He was cradling a Muggle novel, Marley and Me, a bit of a child’s book but Kaylee had read it nonetheless. He invited the two girls into the stall and she was hesitant. It was a bit grungy and beaten down, but it was a bit bigger then the other stalls and had plenty of standing room. She looked at the other girl as if to sayhere goes nothing, and shuffled in. She looked around at the mess of ink and papers and thought Why not just do this in your dorm?
“Statistically I know that a lot of Ravenclaws are very introverted or just not caring for the attention of others, but this bad?”, Kaylee half-joked.
He looked pretty cozy in the corner, but Kaylee refused to sit down.
“And yes, I am perfectly fine. Thank you for asking, though,”, Kaylee glanced at the girl.
In fact, she was actually a little angry and embarrassed, but she would never admit that to anyone, besides Maxwell if anyone, but she just smiled and folded her arms.

Hello! ^^ I am so very sorry for the slow reply. Exams and finals are happening right now, so I’m a little busy irl, hope you understand :sweatingbullets:
River heard the boy speak up, “Hello, I am in here because this is my place of solitude and happiness”. River looked at him, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. This can’t possibly be a healthy form for happiness right? she thought to herself, and scanned the dirty room in which they had stumbled upon each other.
The boy introduced himself as George Taylor, and River gave him a polite nod in response. «Nice to meet you George, I’m River», she answered with a slight unenthusiastic tone, looking over at the two students in front of her.

Ghosts huh? River had nothing against the ghosts of the castle, nothing at all actually. Most of the time, they were nice, other times, they really just wanted to be left alone. And River could respect that with no issues. So far, no ghosts had come and pushed gheir noses into Rivers personal things, and as long as that doesn’t happen, she has no grudge to hold.

As George offered the two girls to step inside of the toilet booth, The other girl sent River a quick look, before walking on inside. Rivers face twisted into a look of disgust, «Uhm, no I’m not stepping in there», she said, nodding in direction of the filthy bathroom floor.

River stayed, standing outside of the stall, looking in at the two students.“Statistically I know that a lot of Ravenclaws are very introverted or just not caring for the attention of others, but this bad?”, the girl had said from the stall. Her tone gave off the impression that sounded like she was joking. I guess she’s right, but I’m not sure if we should maybe be worried here? River started thinking to herself, seeing the sircumstances this boy was under. Not that she was usually one who worried about others in that sort of way. If this is how he liked spending his time, River wouldn’t take that away from him.
“And yes, I am perfectly fine. Thank you for asking, though,”, the girl had added, sending a glance in Rivers direction. «Okay, that’s good», the redhaired girl answered, sending a weak smile in return.
I should probably say something... shouldn’t I? «So... why spend your time here?», she asked quietly, arms crossed over her chest. «I mean, you can get some peace and quiet in the library too. And that’s not half as...», she took a quick glance around the room, «filthy...», she added finally.
