The schools arrived at Hogwarts yesterday. They put on a marvellous performance in the great hall. This morning I took a while at getting used to students from other schools in Hogwarts. They usually talked in their own language. I could more or less understand what the Castelobruxo students were saying. I think they are school from South America.
I wanted to do my Charms homework in the courtyard. The weather had started to warm up a bit so I wanted to take advantage of the nice weather. You don't often get sunshine and blue skies in Scotland or any part of the UK to be honest. The United Kingdom is known for shit weather.
I saw a student about my age sit down beside me. She had long brown hair and brown eyes. I don't really recall seeing her around Hogwarts. She must be from another school. I tried to get a closer look at the crest on her chest and saw that it was a black and white badge with four animals. I don't know which school that crest belonged to.

When iNPC in Hogwarts |
Looking around as she was walking, she found herself in the courtyard. So far she only new one person in Hogwarts. Perhaps today it would change. She found a place to sit and found herself near guy. He was a bit younger, by the look at him. Most likely firstie and Kaya thought he could be from Hogwarts.
Her guess turned out to be true, which she realized from his question. Ilvermorny, yes. Are you from here? She asked getting intrigued by this opportunity to get new friend. That would be just awesome.
Kaya glanced at her school's chest and felt proud of having so rich history of it. But she wasn't going to sit here talking about it, so instead she returned her eyes at the guy. He seemed to be nice and friendly. It felt interesting, the way he asked that question. It was also polite from him.

Ilvermorny, yes. Are you from here? she replied with an American accent. Ilvermorny, Which school was that again? I often get mixed with all the different schools. Eight different Magic Schools had come from all over the world to visit Hogwarts. I know of Durmstrang and Beaubaxtons. They were the two schools in Europe. The other schools I don't really know anything about them. I'm sure I'll remember eventually. They had visited last term for the Fall Ball as well so I assume they come here often. From her accent I think Ilvermorny is in North America but I'm not sure. There were students here that had American accents and they definitely don't go to a American magic school.
"Yeah, I'm from Hogwarts." I said with pride. Hogwarts has been unbelievable for me and I'm hoping it will stay that way. Hopefully no funny stuff happens when I'm here. Hogwarts might be great and all, but throughout history it has not have had the best of luck. With a battle happening here on this very ground.

From the time I can spend here? It's rather challenging. On balls it always has some chaos that somehow can ruin the mood. Other times it seems to be quite nice. Although right now it's rather crowded with all the schools here. She mused.
It was simple sad reality. Fall ball was good, up until what happened in lake. Previous balls also had something happen in them and she was just lucky enough to not experience any of that on herself. This ball she hoped to be different. However, she didn't really believe in it anymore.
Speaking about ball... Are you going to ball too? This wasn't anything more than simple curiosity. And then she realized that neither of them introduced themselves. I'm Kaya Rose Bennett, what about you?

"I'm in Gryffindor. You? Are there even different houses in your school?" I asked.
The culture in America is very different to the culture here, so I would not be surprised is they don't sort you into houses in Ilvermorny.

"The fall ball was pretty bad. People almost drowned. It can't get any worse than that, can it? I said
I was a bit disappointed with the Fall Ball. It had been hyped up so much only to end it with people almost dying. Surely it can't get any worse than that. Also it was my first ball and I think first ball symbolises how its going to be like in the future. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth for Balls here at Hogwarts.
Are you going to ball too? she asks.
To be completely honest with myself, I'm not sure. After the disastrous Fall Ball, I've not sure its safe to go. It's also going to be a Masquerade and in a Masquerade there's always going to be a murder.
"I guess so." I replied with a poker face.
I'm Kaya Rose Bennett, what about you?
I realized that we had never introduced ourselves yet.
"My name is Alejandro Garcia"
That was such a Spanish name. It instantly gives away where I'm from. Maybe I should change my name to something like John Brown or something so it doesn't give away where I'm from.

I don't think that anyone would be really harmed. I mean with all the professors here I don't really think anything would go wrong. So I suppose it'll go in a nice way. It was first time when Kaya didn't know what to say. She didn't want to say anything bad about professors as they surely were doing their best to keep all of the students safe. However, it was a fact that balls here were not always the safest event for everyone.
Ah was it your first ball? Don't worry, there's always going to be someone who would be able to help so I guess it's quite safe. Kaya smiled. Having first attended ball with knowledge of some almost getting drowned surely couldn't be the bedt experience, right? She heard about it, but she didn't focus with that and neither she had experienced it.
Kaya laughed at his question. I mean your name is making it pretty obvious. You are from Spain, right? And as she replied Kaya wondered if it was as easy to say she was Canadian.
