The Wanderers
Elizabeth had hardly any time to register that there were no Hobbits in the room before the door slammed shut, enveloping the room in near total darkness. Immediately, she spun around and tried to push the door open, but to no avail. It was sealed shut, or perhaps she was just too weak to pry it back open. She turned back around and began assessing the room, keeping close to Illowy.
There was some strange box in the center of the room emitting a blue glow, and a door on the other side. Elizabeth couldn't be sure, but she thought she saw some sort of number pad on the door, suggesting that it needed a password. A strange voice kept saying "CIPHER ME" over and over again. It was loud and made Elizabeth nervous, like it was taunting her. She pulled out her wand despite the fact that she didn't know very many spells, and none of them seemed particularly useful at the current moment. Still, it made Elizabeth feel slightly better knowing she could use something to defend herself and her friend.
"I guess we should try the box?" she asked @Illowy Magnard. She didn't know the password for the door, and it seemed the most logical place to look. Besides, she was curious at what could make the box emit that glow. It was bright, making everything around it appear blue. It could always be another exit.
The Hufflepuff took a few steps toward the box when it flew open, making Elizabeth stumble backward and fall to the ground. She pointed her wand at the box and shouted "tarantallegra!" The box began dancing around the room. "Aah! AAAHHH", Elizabeth screamed, backing into Illowy's feet. After a few moments, the box stopped and rested against the wall near the door. Elizabeth slowly stood up and stared at the now stationary box. "Is it dead?" she whispered.
