Felix is just walking through the halls. He's humming the tune for Maxwell's Silver Hammer under his breath, because it's stuck in his head, and he's not paying attention.

It's almost curfew, he doesn't really care. He's walking in the general direction of the Slytherin Common room.

He skipped dinner, instead hanging out on the grounds because he wasn't hungry, and was very preoccupied watching a weird-looking bird at the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
His hair is sticking up in all directions, his bag is disorganised, and he has slight bags under his eyes, but there's a slight jump in his step. Felix is almost always tired, but this time of day he's the most awake and energetic. This time and early morning. It's rather- actually, extremely annoying, but true.

Not doing much, or showing much outer emotion, Felix thinks over some of his recently received Transfiguration homework. He kind of likes transfiguration, but he definitely doesn't like homework, no matter what subject it's for.

He's vaguely aware of people off to the sides of him, but pays them no mind.
Then he walks around a corner, not expecting someone to be right there.

Leona is walking through the corridors knowing she shouldn't be there right now, but just wanting to explore even though it's late. She wants to see the Slytherin Common room, even though she knows she won't be able to get back to her dorm in the time she has. She's reading the most boring book she has ever read in her 6 years of knowing how to read. The book is also very big and heavy. She just wants to understand her new home better. Even if it means reading the biggest book ever "Hogwarts, A History". She's not paying attention to her aching pain in her stomach from not eating anything during the day. Leona is not watching where she's going. She usually never reads big books ever but she's reading this book for one reason, to understand where she is. There is a small turn up ahead, Leona doesn't see anyone nearby so she keeps walking. She knows it's almost curfew but she's thinking maybe she can sneak to the Owlery to send a message to her friends back home but never to her parents. She can't bear to hear from her parents. Leona gets to the end of the straight path and gets to the corner totally submerged in her book. She walks around the corner not seeing the kid right in front of her as her book flies out of her hands.

Felix's shoulder bumps into the girl's, and her book smacks into his face. He doesn't have time to raise his hand as a blocker."Ow.".
Not the worst whack he's ever gotten, but if you've ever gotten a big, heavy book flung into your face, you'll know how much it hurts. A lot. His eyes start watering, and his entire cheekbone feels numb, but he takes some time to look over the girl who he hit into.
She has blonde hair and blue eyes. He's pretty sure that he recognises her from the sorting. Another first year, Cooper something-or-another, sorted into Hufflepuff.
"Jeez, pay some attention." he mutters.
Felix had been feeling pretty good, but now he's sort of ticked off.
Just sort of.
Actually he's very ticked off.
But okay.
He'll be civil. Felix will try to be civil.

He goes to say something to the girl, but then decides against it, instead stepping around her, scowling slightly, and starting to walk farther down the hall. He always walked fast. Most of the people in his family walked fast at some point in their life. He was no exception. As a result, many people found it hard to keep up when they walked with him. It was quite helpful for getting away from people too.

His face hurts a lot. It might bruise, but he hopes not.

Leona looks around watching the boy as he walks off probably ignoring everything that just happened. She slowly gets up off the ground that she fell into. Slightly remembering the boy from the Sorting.
She starts to walk over to the boy as he walks down the hall. "I'm Leona what's your name? You're a first year?" Leona says trying to keep up with the boy.

Leona finally looks at the clock nearby for the entire day it says 8:30. She is now thinking how she will get back without getting caught. She and this boy are 30 minutes late after curfew. She is still trying to, do what most of her family never does which is walk fast, catch up to this mystery boy. Now she can no longer ignore the aching pains in her stomach while she regrets not eating. Leona hears her stomach loudly grumble as she finally catches up to the boy for a few seconds then stops to catch her breath.

She pants for a little bit then gets back to walking but now follows the boy a bit. She's thinking if she should grab his shoulder and most likely make him very mad or should she ask him another question again. Leona finally catches up to the boy and brings her hand up to grab his shoulder but stops. "Hey! Wait!"

He twists around quickly and swats the girl-Lorena's hand away from his shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm a first year. So are you. So? Your point?" Felix doesn't really want to tell her his name. He doesn't usually tell people his name at all. Definitely not when someone randomly asks him, and there's the potential to get in trouble for something.
He's not interested in making friends with the girl whose book just hit him in the face, and he wants to get back to the common room soon.

He tries not to laugh when Lorena's stomach growls. It's rather loud, and for some reason, it's funny to his brain right now. Really everything is funny to him at this time of day.
Is it considered 'time of day' when it's like, 8:35? Or would it be 'time of evening'. Nah, that sounds weird. 'Time of night'? No, it's not late enough in the day.
He will settle for 'time of day'. It sounds the most normal.

She's utterly failing at keeping up with him. He could probably chase her off with the right amount of rudeness. He stops suddenly, turning around, and, in a flat tone, says "Piss off.". There's not much reason for her to be following him. Pretty certain that the Hufflepuff common room is the other way.

Leona looks at the boy who still annoyingly hasn't told her his name. She just wants to know his name and the way she saw him look when her stomach growled was stupid. She thinks of ways to ask him his name in a nice way that wouldn't make him mad. Maybe 'Tell me your name' No too mean maybe 'What's your name?' She thinks about it for a few seconds. The thing about Leona is that she can think very fast, about what can happen if she does a certain thing and what the may consequences be. She thinks about if she says the first one maybe the boy will get very mad or if she says the second one he may not answer and just ignore her.

Leona is very annoyed by being ignored by this boy. At home she is always ignored by her family and most kids at school, so she doesn't want to be ignored at Hogwarts too. She shouldn't have grabbed his shoulder maybe, she couldn't think fast enough when she caught up to the boy. She again looked at the boy and noticed his pretty amber eyes and saw how he put his dark brown hair down his face. "Can you please tell me your name? I just don't want to be ignored here too."

He has a feeling that she won't stop asking, and he doesn't have enough energy right now to hit her in the head with his book, so he tells her. "It's Felix. And you're probably better off being ignored. This is school. If you draw attention to yourself, it may pay off, but you also might be picked on.". That had been his experience at his old school. Be ignored or be bothered.

There was a piece of hair falling into his eye, and his fixes it, running his hand through his hair. It really just made the rest of his hair stick up, but, oh well. The hair does what the hair does, and nothing that he does changes what the hair does.

"So, are you goin' to leave me alone now? Or are you committed to a hobby of being annoying." he says it less as a question and more as a jab.
Then Felix turns and continues walking. He walks his normal speed. Which is the same as before. Decently fast. He enjoys watching people try and keep up with him. It's very satisfying.
Honestly, he's broken curfew plenty of times before, and not gotten caught much, so he's not too concerned about the time.

Leona thinks about what Felix had said as she walks back to her common room noticing that she is really late to get back to her dorm. She's thinking about if they will see each other again and also about how kinda cute he looked. But she bites her lip when she thinks she's turning red. She quickly corrects herself thinking how rude and how much of a jerk he was. He ignored her for a bit of time not telling her his name.

She yawned and looked back once to see if Felix was still there. She didn't see him. Where is he going to? She thought. Leona really doesn't like when people break rules (even though she is now). She literally told him her name and asked very nicely when she asked first. Maybe she shouldn't have grabbed his shoulder she wasn't thinking well. He had a book bag he could have hit her with a book.

Leona eventually made it closer to her common room and almost fell over when she got really close. Leona yawned again and tried to forget about Felix knowing she would very soon . She never remembers names well. She just sleep on it and see if she should try to find him again.
