Goblin Rebelling
Setting: Corridors during the shift in classes and schedules
IC date : October 18thHe is rushing rushing rushing. Ernest swore he would walk less in a marathon than he does just to keep up with his classes, much less the endless walks to the library for yet another magical theory book to try and shove transfiguration down his brain. He figured he was hopeless; he couldn’t stay an O student at this rate if every lesson went in one ear and out the other.
He was finally free for the next couple of hours, though truly he was still piled up with papers to complete. He wondered if there was a never-empty quill he could buy for such a thing. Just because he was free, though, doesn’t mean everyone was. He grunted as he pushed his way through the full corridors, pushing against the upperclassmen and first-years alike.
He figured it was only a matter of time before something went wrong and as he felt a hand hit his back, the force being less accidental and more focused; he figured it was karma for his own pushing, he knew he was done for. He grunted as his knees hit the floor, and his papers scattered. Luckily, the others parted for him like the sea, unluckily they just continued on like water without break.
He groaned as he was forced to collect his essays as the halls started to clear. Left in his own embarrassment.

Goblin Rebelling
Speech: #DAA520Rushing to help @Ernest BairdIt had been yet another long class. Viva was already tired, and the day wasn't even half over yet! Sighing to herself, the brown-haired girl tried to make her way through the crowd of people in the corridors. She clutched the book bag that hung over her shoulder as she squeezed between two students and slipped around a large group. One of the nice things about being very petite was that she was able to make her way through the corridors much easier and faster. That didn't mean it wasn't stressful, however. Viva could feel her heart racing as she pushed her way through. This many people made her start to feel anxious, she didn't like to be in tight spaces with large crowds.
The corridors were beginning to thin when Viva saw something that made her blink. The older boy in front of her had accidentally pushed over the boy in front of him. The older boy didn't seem to have noticed, and just continued on his way. The smaller boy, who looked about Viva's age, was on the ground. So were his papers. They were everywhere, and Viva felt a twinge of pity for this poor boy she didn't even know. Without stopping to think for one moment, Viva rushed forward. She knelt down beside the boy, ignoring all the hustle and bustle around them.
Viva offered her hand to help the boy up, then bent down once more to begin grabbing all the parchment that was now scattered across the length of the corridor. Why isn't anyone else stopping to help? She briefly wondered as she continued to pick up the papers. Soon, she had a large stack in her small hands, and she turned to face the boy. "Hullo," she said quietly. Now there were not very many people in the corridor at all. Viva looked at the boy, still holding the papers and blinking her large blue eyes. "I'm sorry that happened." She tilted her head slightly. "My name is Genevieve Delacourt, but most people call me Viva."

Goblin Rebelling
Setting: Corridors during the shift in classes and schedules
IC date : October 18th"kres, kres, kres," The part goblin cursed under his breath as he collected the papers. Then a hand interrupted his embarrassing movements, Ernest's eyes snapping up to see who was there. Bright blue eyes and long brown hair, that was the first thing his brain collected about the person who stopped for him. She was pretty, in a very girl next doorway. She was pretty in a way that was remarkably timeless but played out.
Hufflepuff, her robes showed, they placed perfectly on her even as Ernest's scarf threatened to hit the floor and his tie went crooked. He shoved the papers he recovered into his bag, taking the ones she had too with them, and then took her hand. When he was up, he looked into his bag to try and straighten the mess he just created, as the girl went to rescue more of his work. “Umm, hi, thanks for this,” Ernest said, watching her. He figured she’d have handed him what she collected and wandered off, not wanting to be late for a class or a meeting or something else that seemed to pull the crowd along.
“My name is Ernest, most people call me. . . well, Ernest.” He said, taking the last of his papers. “Thanks again, for helping. Figured I looked enough like a dunce that people would just continue.” He said, not really knowing what to do. “I hope I’m not keeping you from anything . .”
Maybe this could be an opening so he isn’t just being stared at by her large blue eyes.Private Thread for @Genevieve Delacourt
