Katie nodded enthusiastically at Tilly’s response. “Yes! I agree. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve enjoyed the skirt ever since I first started at my muggle boarding school,” she shrugged. Even during the winter months, she’d wear a skirt, albiet with leggings or some other way to retain some heat.

While she did not know the foreign language Tilly spoke to her, Kaitlyn smiled politely, and nodded enthusiastically at Tilly’s translation. “Oh, cool! I sadly don’t know any foreign language … but I think it’s awesome that you know Irish!” She exclaimed. “But, yes, bye for now Tilly,” she smiled brightly to the Hufflepuff girl. She returned the wave, and headed to the staircase that brough her down to the dungeon.

It was a weird transition at first, to have her common room in the dungeons. Specifically, underneath the black lake. But, she didn’t mind it. Sure, there was a chill. But, it was hardly noticable when the fire was on. She had been comfortable wearing every muggle outfit she brought with her, so far. She’d likely feel the same as the year continued.

Descending the staircase, the young Slytherin skipped down the cold stone corridor to get to her common room. ‘I’m excited for this friendship,’ she thought.
