First week, new friends? Finished

Maxwell Smith was overwhelmed. The first week of school was almost coming to a close and she has no idea what to do. She had a little bit of time to just relax, instead of going to her common room she chose to go the Library. Max had always loved the library since her dad first took her when she was little. Her dad would go sit in one of the big chairs and Max would run off and then come back with a stack off books. People used to joke she would be a fine Ravenclaw, but Max was happy with Gryffindor.

It took Max 20 minutes for her to get to the library, she took a wrong turn and then the stair case moved before she could get on it, but a nice lady in one of the paintings told her where to go and she stepped into the Library. It was big and had a nice cozy feeling. It smelled of warm milk with a tad bit a cinnamon.
Wow this place is huge! No wonder Dad kept saying I would love it!

Max walked around for a bit looking for a book to read, she settled on looking for a fantasy book. She found one about a lost prince and a princesses quest to save him. As she was walking out of the aisle she ran into a girl holding a stack of books.
"Oh my gosh I'm really sorry!!"
The girl looked up at her,
"Its okay, I couldn't see where I was going anyways."
Max helped the girl pick up the books.
"I guess I should introduce myself, My name is Maxwell Smith, but you can call me Max. I'm a first year Gryffindor, but you already knew that because I'm wearing my robes and- sorry. I tend to ramble a lot."
The girl held out her hand. Max took it."
"Nice to meet you Max, I'm Kaylee, Kaylee Reid, First year Ravenclaw."
They talked for a bit the both found out the wanted to be chasers and where both half-bloods. Before the went the separate ways Max said something to Kaylee,
"Hey, do you want to meet here again some times soon?"
Kaylee looked at Max,
"Sure."
and the she left. Max walked back to the Gryffindor common room and flopped down on her bed.
I think..I think I just made a friend!!
