Aaaahhh Transfiguration, easily the most boring and useless class on my list. When signed up for magic, I didn't know I was signing up for muggle science as well. As that's literally what Transfiguration was, muggle science. I zoned out as always in class. I heard my name get called. Probably just attendance but attendance had already been called. Why was my name being called? Nooo, maybe the professor had picked me to answer a question. I didn't know nothing about transfiguration. I just fall asleep after attendance was called. I know some things but I think my class had moved on with the stuff at the start of the year. Back then I was naïve and optimistic that every class here was going to be fun like DADA or Charms. Turns out I was wrong. You've got the likes of Transfiguration and Astronomy around trying to ruin your day and then there's Charms, Herbology and DADA.
Back to the present now, I just sat there with a blank look on my face.
"Umm here?" I replied unsure of myself. I glanced around the room at the other students for help but got nothing. ♡♡♡♡♡♡Gaah! I am so sorry this took me like several years!Quinn sat down for transfiguration. While it was probably her hardest class she still loved it. She enjoyed learning how to turn things into other things even if it was frustrating sometimes. Speaking of frustrating my stupid shoelace got caught on the door and I can't believe I face planted straight into the room! It was super loud too. Quinn thought shaking her head. Quinn bit her lip as she looked at the person next to her. She had no recollection of this person and had never really noticed him before.
"Here!" She said when her name was called. The boy next seemed to be named...Alejandro? Quinn wondered if she had heard right. Then again who was she to talk about weird names when she was Irish. Quinn giggled to herself then returned her attention to the teacher.
Ooh, a partner activity! Quinn thought happily. Quinn wondered how the boy would do as the teacher said to work with the person next to them. Quinn looked next to her. The boy-Alejandro-seemed to be half asleep. Quinn decided to "wake" him up.
"Hey, Alejandro." she whispered. The boys at up with a blank face then glanced around the room. Quinn giggled at his statement.
"The teacher said we have to work together." Quinn whispered. Quinn wasn't sure how to feel about that though now that she thought about it.
"Look, i'll explain later, just pay attention will you." Quinn whispered to the boy.

My deskmate had called my name. Weird. We don't really talk that much. Let me rephrase that, we've never talked to each other before. Well most of the time it was because I was asleep in class but we don't need to worry about that.
"The teacher said we have to work together."
Huh? My mind was still blank.
"Look, i'll explain later, just pay attention will you."
Please do, I would like to know what's going on. Pay attention. Sure, why not? Seems like it was something important. I turned to look at the board. The prof had drawn some swiggly lines on it. I tried to look at it from a different angle but it always looked like a random doodle. It was probably very important but I didn't understand anything. I guess I've only got myself to blame for that. The professor then left us to it. To what I don't know. I think it was some sort of activity. The rest of the class had grabbed their wands and started waving them around. I also grabbed my wand trying to fit in.
"Sooo now can you explain what the hell is going on? What do we have do?" I finally whispered to my deskmate who was looking at me with amusement.WC: 215/200 Tags: @Quinn Brook Sorry bout the long wait.

♡♡♡♡♡♡Sorry this took so long!Quinn rolled her eyes at the boy. He looked hopelessly lost. The boy, Alejandro, grabbed his wand trying to copy everyone else who had been listening. He looked towards Quinn with wild eyes. He is so failing this class. Quinn thought, snickering.
"Maybe I wouldn't have to explain if you had been paying attention to the teacher." Quinn muttered. Quinn sighed realizing that she should probably explain.
"Look, were doing a partner activity, can't you read the board?" She asked him. Quinn took out her wand and waved it the way that the board showed them. Maybe he can't read without glasses and he forgot them? Quinn wondered.
"Do you have glasses? Because the board says what we have to do. By the way I'm Quinn and you might as well wave your wand at this!" She added, pointing at the object on the desk. Quinn hoped that the boy wasn't as completely lost in all of his classes. That would be bad for him. She grabbed her notebook for transfiguration and showed the boy the activity.
"Here! Read this!" Quinn said rolling her eyes and shoving the book into his face. Quinn waited for the boy to answer and bit back a sigh.

"Maybe I wouldn't have to explain if you had been paying attention to the teacher."
Hey, I was sleepy! You have to get a good hours of sleep so you can pay attention in the important classes. This class is not going to really help me in the future you know. I don't think I'll be using Transfiguration in my life unless it was for an elaborate prank.
"Look, were doing a partner activity, can't you read the board?" she asked clearly agitated.
"I did! All I see are swiggly lines!" I exclaimed maybe a bit too loudly.
The board was useless to me because I had not been paying attention since November.
"Do you have glasses? she asked.
Huh? Is that an insult? I think if I have glasses I would definitely bring it to class. What kind of stupid question is that?
Because the board says what we have to do. By the way I'm Quinn and you might as well wave your wand at this!" she explained pointing at the match on the table.
"Alejandro. Okay, elaborate. What do I have to do with the match?" I asked her clearly annoyed that she wasn't giving me an clear explanation.
She shoved the Transfiguration Textbook in my face and exclaimed
"Here! Read this!"
I scanned the page of the textbook and I kind of understand what we're doing. Matches to Needle. I have no idea what I'm going to do.
"Ohhh, matches to needles. Ok, so we have to turn this match into a needle using the spell, right? I said trying to seem like I understood the task.
I'll just let her do it first and I'll copy exactly what she's doing. Foolproof plan.
