A.H. = Alaina Hattie (my name)
Lachlan/Lachy is my twin and was sorted into gryffindor

Excited chatter filled the air as students gathered, their eyes sparkling with anticipation. The teachers stood at the front of the room, overseeing the festivities with smiles on their faces.

Suddenly, Professor Browne's voice cut through the noise, commanding attention. "Alright, everyone," he announced, his tone firm yet warm. "Today, you will learn how to dance gracefully without making a fool out of yourselves. I would like you to find a partner."

Lachlan and I exchanged a glance, a mixture of amusement and apprehension flickering in our eyes.
With a twinkle in my eye, I elbowed Lachy lightly. "Looks like we're in this together, Lachlan dear," I teased.

Lachy chuckled in response, shaking his head. "I wouldn't have it any other way, A.H."

As the other students began to pair up, the inevitable moment arrived. Professor Browne turned towards Lachy and I, his gaze unwavering. "And you two," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice, "shall be each other's partners for the evening."

Lachy and I couldn't help but burst into laughter at the serious tone in the room. Twins forced to dance together in front of the entire year? It is destined to be a rollercoaster.

As the music started, I couldn't help but stifle a laugh. Lachlan shot me a playful glare, trying to maintain a semblance of composure as we began our awkward dance.

Our movements were anything but graceful. We stumbled over each other's feet, tripped on invisible obstacles, and nearly collided with nearby tables and chairs. But instead of feeling embarrassed, we found ourselves laughing uncontrollably at our own absurdity.

"Watch it, Lachlan! You're going the wrong way!" I exclaimed between giggles, trying to guide Lachy back on track as we attempted a particularly tricky turn.

I couldn't help but grin back at him, the absurdity of the situation hitting me in waves. Here we were, two clueless first-year students, struggling to perform a dance that neither of us had any business attempting.
