Owl Post



Dear Rosie,

First of all, your father got attacked again. Second of all, Robin and Flora miss you so much! Also, do you want a Howler? Would it rub that smirk of your face?

Raya and Kelly just need more encouragement from you. Tell them that you love them and you want the best for them, Rosie, sometimes you just need to help your sisters out!

I’m glad you have a person you have close, even if it’s Derek. Tell Derek I love and miss him too!

I do miss you, although I didn’t agree… I’m good, Rosie, and I’m ordering you to go to sleep at 11:00!! Not half past midnight!! Next time I’ll definitely send you a Howler if I catch you staying up again!!

Don’t worry, when you write, I’ll always write back! And Flora wanted to write but I told her no. Also Flora did magic! She wanted a cookie, I told her no, and she threw a magical tantrum. Everything flew off the shelfs, she’ll be going to Hogwarts!

Tell me everything, every secret, every grade on homework when you get classes, every bump in the road, tell me everything.

P.S, the school owl raced away as soon I took the letter of her claw so I used E.B




Rose (Rosie) Johnson was sitting at the Ravenclaw table when a familiar owl who had a small package swooped down as he flipped once, and landed with a booming thud! on the table.

“E.B!” Rosie exclaimed in delight. E.B’s sharp beak struck Rosie’s wrist as she reached out for the letter with trembling fingers.

“Ouch!” Rosie whispered. E.B took a step forward and held out his claw, Rosie smiled and took the package off E.B’s claw. E.B dunk his beak into Rosie’s cereal bowl and helped himself to Rosie’s milk.

Rosie opened the letter first, as she read the letter, she smiled. Then she opened the package, she wondered what it was. It was her favorite book in the world:To Kill A Mocking Bird. Rosie brought it to her chest and hugged it. Then she carefully folded up the letter, tucked it in her robes pocket.

“Bye E.B, hope to see you later!” Rosie rubbed E.B’s head and chest before he stretched out his large soft wings and flew off to the Owlery, preparing for his long journey home.

Rosie walked to the library, to start reading her book. She had been doing this for the past couple of days, since she had no classes. She promised herself that she’ll write to her mom later, all she wanted to do first was to read her book.

Dear Mom,

Oof, I feel bad for him, hope he feels better. I won't be able to write much tonight but I write lots next time!

THANK YOU! For my book! I love you so much mom!! I went straight to the library after breakfast. I wanted to read it right away! And I finished it after noon, now my head hurts badly. Can you send me aspirin please?

And no, I do not want a Howler. Howlers are bad. Bad things, they are. Very bad. Also, I do not need one, I am a good girl, Cade and Coral bad as Voldermout.

Ok, I'll tell Raya and Kelly that. I hope they listen! Although, they probably won't listen to me, giving you heads up mom! And of course I tell Derek, because he hates owling people, he's just like dad...

Fine, I'll go to bed earlier, as if its gonna help me.. And tell Flora congratulations!! Always happy to have another magical person in the house! Wait, since Robin hasn't had her first magic yet does that mean she won't be a witch?

And, fine, I tell you everything if I have time... Miss you, Flora, Robin and dad!

Rose (Rosie) Johnson sealed the envelope and headed of for the owlery. Rosie scanned for an owl that didn't look so furious or serious. She didn't want her father to be hurt again.

"Oh! E.B your still here?!" Rosie exclaimed with delight as she saw her family's owl. E.B spread his wings when he saw Rosie, flew to her and landed on her arm with a beloved coo.

"Would you go back to Mom and not attack Dad?" Rosie asked in a gentle voice. Chee! Chee! E.B's chirp sounded.

"That sounds like a yes!" Rosie exclaimed as she tied the letter to the yellow claw of the familar handsome owl.

Rosie extended her arm out, stroked E.B's stomach before she let the owl go and watched as the owl she knew flew away without a doubt of where he was going.

"See ya later, E.B," Rosie whispered as the brown owl disappeared from view.

Dear Rosie Posie,

Hi, Rosie Posie! Its me Flora! I've seen all your letters, I miss you too! I can't wait til you come home, its boring me and I wanna see you, and I want to come to Hogwarts!

I did my first magic last week! Mommy didn't let me get a cookie! I was so mad at her, I didn't speak to Mommy for a while! Daddy, is not happy with owl post, he not happy that I have magic, he not happy that I'm writing letters as well.

Guess what! I called Daddy a muggle today! I laughed and laughed and laughed, but I got grounded from playing outside today and tomorrow. This is why I'm writing a letter. Writing is fun, and Mommy's helping me with all the words and paragraph spacing? I have no idea what that is .

have fun, I'll see you later, and Mommy says you don't need aspirin whatever that is either, and Mommy says that Robin is only 3, so that she needs more time to grow!! Heehe, didn't you know that?
Bye Rosie Posie! Mommy also says that she'll send the medicine if you only take it when you need it! Also if I didn't tell you this, Mommy is writing all this for me, haha! Also I told Mommy to write everything I say so, I really hope that Mommy writes everything done. Also Mommy says she's sorry for the late response , ahaaha.

Rosie went to breakfast in her robes not expecting what was to happen. She ate a apple and drank a glass of orange juice, she didn't want to be late to classes.

Soon, a large thump! startled her, and she saw it was E.B. carrying a letter and another package. She stroked the brown owl's feather as the owl helped himself to Rosie's apple core. "Hey, E.B.," Rosie cooed as she read her letter. "Cree! Shee!" E.B. loudly said.

Rosie wanted to write this letter fast, she raced to the Ravenclaw Common Room and took a small piece of parchment.

Dear Flora,

Hey Flora! I'm glad you wanna go to Hogwarts! Tell mom I got classes on, and thanks for the aspirin. imma be late to class. See ya, Flora! Tell Robin, Dad, and Mom that I love them!

Rosie didn't even check it before she raced as fast as she could in boots to the Owlry, gave it to E.B. who was still there, and raced to her class before she was late.
