New world in the hogwarts library
It being his first time in such a new setting, he began to feel nervous, so he headed to the school library to get a good book to get lost in. he walked in and looked around seeing it mostly empty he walked into the library he looked on the books at all the titles each book had him more curious than the next since he had never seen books like them before. he grabbed a book about the history of Hogwarts took a seat beside a nice cozy fire and got comfortable he opened the book and began reading. his eyes scanned the pages about all the different stories there were about Hogwarts, and he began to lose track of time. he continued sitting there flipping the pages of the book he found himself curious about all there was to know about his new school. he then got lost completely in the book feeling like he was there at the times that events had occurred enthralled by all the new things he was learning he continued to read on not noticing other students coming and going from the library or that he was even at the school anymore he was lost in the words on the pages soaking up all the information there was to know.

Emily was back in the library once again, returning a whole pile of books she had borrowed for her studies. With Astrology finally taken care of for the week and Herbology near enough complete, she decided she should study more on Charms and Potions. However, it felt like it would work out in her favour and become a source of leisure than for study purposes, since those were two of her favourite subjects... Herbology being her third.
She scanned the shelves once again once her previous books were handed back in. She was growing more confident by the day with all the reading she had been doing. Within such a short amount of time, being a Muggle didn't feel like a hindrance to her. If anything, she was enjoying the experience, even the challenges that came with it.
She managed to hoke out a few books on Potions, with a very detailed looking encyclopaedia of Charms. Seemed like a good place to start, she thought. Jinxes and Hexes were a rather expansive topic so she figured it best to cover as much as she could, even at a surface level.
She searched for somewhere to read quietly yet the library was as busy as ever. Her usual spots were taken by older students with twice the amount of books Emily was carrying , while some other spots were a bit loud for her, even though it was the library of all places. She eventually found a spot near the fireplace where another boy was reading by himself. She didn't want to bother him, but with the size of the books she was carrying she needed to put them down soon before she would inevitably drop them.
She walked over quietly. "Excuse me... Is it okay if I take this space just here?"
she asked politely, flashing a friendly smile.

Slowly becoming brought back to reality, he lowered the book he had been reading to see another student his age standing in front of him with a handful of books he could feel his anxiety starting to return.

Emily couldn't hide her relief as she was finally able to set her books down before her arms gave way. The books made a small thudding sound as they made contact with the table before she took a spot opposite the Ravenclaw boy, whom she now learnt his name was Liam. Upon closer inspection, he seemed to be her age, most likely in her year.
She smiled again, both in gratitude and out of friendliness. "I'm Emily. And please, there's no need to feel nervous around me." She made her tone as soft as possible as to make him feel comfortable. He did seem a little reserved the longer she looked at him, but Emily was never one to judge. She could become quite shy at times herself.
She couldn't help but think about his little comment, however. He's had very little social interaction. That sounded... sad. But she wasn't going to press it further if it was going to make him uncomfortable. Instead, she would keep the conversation light-hearted. Thanks to Liam's mention of books, she had an advantage.
"I like reading too! As you can see..." she chuckled quietly as she gestured to her pile of books. "Accruing knowledge is fun for me. I honestly couldn't care less if the information I learn is useful or not, I just think it's great to discover anyway, you know?"
Emily could already feel her mind race a mile a minute with how much she could talk about books. She took one out of her pile and began to read it, hoping the conversation would continue as she and Liam continued to read.

When he had finished reading that book he stood up and walked to the shelf after placing the book back he looked at all the titles of the when he came upon a book that was advanced he was eager to read that book so he took it off the shelf and walked as he sat back down in the chair he was sitting he turned back to you.
This book seems interesting. it's called Ancient Runes Made Easy.
The book was for third-year students who were taking the class study of ancient ruins the cover of the book made it look like the book was going to be very complex for a first-year student but he didn't seem fazed by a book that seemed so challenging.
I wonder what information this book is eager to tell. all books have something to tell, but you just need to be willing to listen. I am a person who is willing to listen to what a book has to say and learn from it no matter how hard a book may be.

Emily spoke with Liam for a good while, discussing all kinds of her favourite books. Despite being asked this question often given the avid reader she was, Emily felt she had a whole answer rehearsed in her head as she spoke. Most of what she talked about was all fantasy fiction, arguably her favourite genre. She then proceeded to go on a passionate tangent about folkloristics and mythology, staples of what made up her passion for reading such stories. In a surprising twist, however, Emily even also admittedly to liking the textbooks she'd be using to study at Hogwarts.
"So as you can see, I'm quite the bookworm," she laughed. Emily's desire to dream and store information, no matter what it was, in her head knew no bounds. If what she just said wasn't clicking with Liam, she wouldn't know what else to say other than to prove it by the sheer towers of books she would willingly read in a week.
Liam laughed at Emily's response, clearly impressed with her literary prowess. "Heh! You don't have to tell me twice. You've got enough books to own your own library there."
After a little while longer of talking, Liam suddenly got up and packed his things. "Sorry, but I better cut this short. I remember Professor Lear wanted to talk to me about something. Nice talking to you...!
Emily bid Liam farewell with a wave as she smiled. "No problem. See you!"
With her brief encounter now at an end, Emily resumed her own reading. She sighed contently as she relished in the library's atmosphere, like any other bookworm.
