2023/2024 Stage 2 Hufflepuff vs Slytherin: Match 6

What expected is expected. Her mood has soured. Her anger is as its limit. She thought at some point this duel can turn around for the better. But apparently it just not one of those day. Russetwood did get a good shot, but then when she is too busy fixing her hair not even giving another effort to cast a spell, a lightning came down on her. BOOM! Her heart jump and pain charging up her limbs. Now that is it. That is her limit. She could be attacked with anything but NOT her hair.

And that would be it. The very last round. The Badgers had a roll going. Both would again heal Julian, but only Emma would have success. Julians wand seemed to have it out for him once again, and instead of healing it was out to cause mayhem. A pinch of damage would surely have been felt by the Hufflepuff captain as the spell backfired upon him.

The Slytherins would switch it up a little. Guinevere would aim not for Julian like they had been all this time, but for Emma instead. Bea noted with a grin that it was probably a little too late for such tactics, especially as Pea was still off with the fairies. Bea gave a her a quizzical glance. The fair-haired girl wasn't usually like this, but it seemed she was able to snap out of the daze she was in. If only it could have been in time for the last round...

As the spells dissipated from the piste, Bea called the end of the match. "And that's it! 8 rounds done and dusted! Hufflepuff wins!!" She grinned at both teams, one a little worse for wear than the other and went to congratulate them both on a game well played.
