"It's not fair, why don't first-years get to own a broom? It isn't like I will do any thing absurd," a girl in overalls complained to the store manager who was smoking on a cigar that made smelly green smoke that encircled the store making everyone cough."You could get fired for that you know, it's a safety law in: Owning a Store; the rules and tips on making a top-notch company. In chapter 37, collum 62, paragraph 8, sentence..."
"Now hold on little missy,"the squat, bald man squeeked in a tiny voice hiccuping all the time."First off, where in blazens do you keep all this useless stuff? And second, I can't sell brooms to first-years, so go off with your business and leave me in peace!" He shoved her out the door and slammed it behind her."In Owning a Store that is illegal to do, shoving a customer out of the store. It says so in chapter 42, collum 53, paragragh... oh, whatever !"she yelled at the closed door."Who does he think he is?" she muttered to herself as she stormed away with her hands in her pockets. She started to whistle a tune when she saw a cat staring at her. She sat down next to it, twiddling her thumbs she said,"You know kitty, some days we're ignored and neglected but some-day they will regret it 'cause we'll come back and they'll notice us that time."
"Meow, "the skinny, gray tabby said in reply like it understood her.

Luna watched as a girl was shoved out of a shop. The shop seemed to be selling brooms, and Luna finally realised the first year must have wanted a broom. “Hi,” Luna said quietly, hoping she would hear, but knowing it was doubtful. “Hello,” She said, louder this time. Hoping the girl hadn’t heard both her greetings (that would be awkward) she gave an awkward smile. She wasn’t great with people, and she wasn’t feeling very confident in the middle of a street she hadn’t known existed, filled with supplies for something she hadn’t known existed until she had recieved her letter.

“Were you trying to get a broom?” Luna asked. On her letter, it had said that first years weren’t allowed brooms, but Luna thought it unfair that the girl had been thrown out the shop for asking. Luna noticed the girl was talking to a cat, a tabby, next to her, as if they could understand each other. Luna could relate, she had a cat at home who she felt could understand her (even though she knew her cat couldn’t) but the notion was silly, in her mind. Then again, she was a muggle born, and she wasn’t used to acknowledging the existence of magic.
