A Quick Practice Closed

Luna walked out onto the pitch, the wind blowing her hair out of its bun. She walked over to the broom shed, and took a broom that looked in fairly good condition. It needed a polish, and its twigs needed a trim, but it wasn’t broken or anything worse. Luna walked into the Quidditch pitch, to the middle, then mounted her broom, and sped upwards. The wind was strong, blowing her off course, and the faster she went the worse it got. She tried to persevere, urging her broom upwards to try and avoid the wind, but it was hard, she kept being blown off course.

She tried to hover, and that helped a little with the wind, but she the wind still made her blow sideways. She let out a groan. This wasn’t good. Suddenly, distracted, Luna wasn’t holding the broom as tight, and she slipped and fell. Luna screamed, as the ground rushed to meet her. She tried to remember which spell slowed down falling things, but she couldn’t focus knowing she was about to break multiple bones. Her only comfort was that she could see someone on the pitch, who could take her to the hospital Wing or help her at least. Then, she smashed into the ground and pain rushed like fire through her. Then she blacked out.
