Thoughts: italicsKaitlyn opened up the Entrance Hall doors and skipped out to the Hogwarts grounds. Her movements were just as graceful, as if nothing was on the ground at all. It had just snowed the previous day, so there was a fresh round of the fluffy white powder everywhere. As such, she left her Mist Hopper, Demeter, back in her dorm. She’d rather her pet not be out in the elements, if she could help it. Besides, she was afraid she’d lose sight of bunny if she let her bunny hop around.
Kaitlyn’s graceful movements brought her out on the grounds, and she headed toward the Courtyard. He blue eyes looked at the fountain in the middle of the couryard, and the ice formed at the basin. ‘It looks beautiful this time of the year. If it wasn’t so cold … and snowy, I could’ve brough out my sketchpad and take hours out here to draw this. Eh, I’ll do my best to remember how this looks and draw it when I get back to the common room,’ she thought with a smile on her face. She briefly cleaned off one of the benches at the courtyard and sat down, admiring the fountain.Reducio

Out in the Snow
Bellus stepped out into the chilly afternoon air, wrapping her robes tighter around her, to block out the chilly wind. Snow covered the clearing, making the Hogwarts grounds a crystal world. She strolled around the walkway, which could barely be seen, deep under the snow. She loved taking walks on the soft snowy ground.
She had walked unconsciously for a while, when she looked up and found herself in a beautiful place, which was none other than the Hogwarts grounds. However, it was beautiful then ever, as the fountain was frozen in place, creating a crystal statue. Bellus stared at it for a few seconds, taking in the unbelievable view, before she realised someone was there too. A girl was sitting by the frozen fountain, enjoying the beautiful view. A Slytherin girl with beautiful braided brown hair. She was admiring the beautiful fountain.
Bellus had been wanting to be friends with other students the past few weeks, regardless of their houses. Bellus knew that Gryffindor and Slytherin always had a rivalry between each house, however, the Slytherin girl looked kind and curious unlike some others Slytherin counterparts that Bellus knew. This could be a chance to make new friends. It’s hardly possible to decline in such a beautiful day. She thought, as she sat down beside the girl.
“Hello, it’s beautiful isn’t it?” Bellus indicated the fountain.

Thoughts: italicsKaitlyn continued to admire the fountain, briefly kicking her legs playfully. ‘Ugh, the light is capturing it so well. I should’ve brought that sketchpad. I don’t know if I’ll be able to capture this correctly … and I cannot run to get it now, by the time I get back, the light will likely change already. Bah, I really need to think my actions through better. Well, I can still sit out here and enjoy the sight. Maybe I’ll try to draw it, I’ll have to see,’ she thought.
While she was lost in thought, Kaitlyn hadn’t noticed that she wasn’t alone. That fact never occurred to her, until a girl sat next to her on the bench. She briefly jumped at the sudden appearance of the girl. She looked over at the girl in surprise, noticing that she looked pretty much her age. She noted the girl’s Gryffindor uniform, not really caring about the traditional house rivalries. “I … um … H-Hi,” she greeted the girl shyly, after hearing her statement. ‘Where did she come from? Was I really that lost in thought?’
Kaitlyn looked back at the fountain, nodding. “Y-yes, i-it i-is v-very b-beautiful,” she agreed, stuttering the entire time. Her cheeks flushed. ‘I hope I didn’t scare her off already by my shyness and my stutter. I’d love more friends.’Reducio
