The hunt R.O.A.M EVENT

Most of the students were more or less done, and the ones that weren't were wrapping up. It was time to call this event, and go on to procrastinating about the next one.

"Alright, start moving on out. The mokes are going to get too cold soon, and this schedule moves around their needs, not yours."

He walked over to the door, and opened it, keeping an especially sharp eye out for any small movement that might be trying to evacuate the paddock. The professor would stamp his feet from time to time as well, using the noise and motion to spook off any mokes with a promising career in escapology

“If this is a complaint would you mind sending it with an owl? It's easier to ignore."

After the professor called out that it was time to leave, Nico quickly got up, collecting her belongings. She scampered to her bag and swiftly put everything away. Wrapped scarf around her neck, bag over her shoulder Nico ran up to the professor and bowed lightly.

'Until next time, professor Griffith.' As she made her way to the door she stopped in her tracks. 'Oh! I almost forgot.' She kneeled down, quickly pulling out a page from out of her sketchbook.

'I-..I ehm would like you to have this, sir.' Abit shy she shuffeled up to the him and handed him the page. It showed a cycle of a Moke, doing tiny pushups. 'As a thankyou for .. the first event I could attend.' She bowed once again and quickly picked up her stuff again. 'Good day, sir!' And off she went.

Rowan sighed. He really didn’t want to leave, but he would have to at this point.  Being kicked out was fun.

Griffith had said the lizards were resilient. And for a moment, he thought about just yeeting it at the far wall to go out with a bang. However his entire rational not-lizard-brain side or him screamed against that, so it didn’t happen. Instead, he threw down a handful of crickets and gently shood the lizard from his lap, giving it a final parting gift before he rolled towards the door.

“Goodbye professor. We pretend hate you too.”

Annnd he was gone.

The situation had grown more dire than expected. The prefect let out a little yelp as one of the creatures managed to make it ways up her robe sleeve rummaging around somewhere. That was something she had not been anticipating but last she recalled, there were two which meant the other was still underneath the cloak seeking the nearest escape route. A feeling of frustration and failure set in seeing the other students begin to leave the paddock as Griffith announced the closure of the leason moving to stand by the exit. She shook out her robe sleeve hoping the moke inside would fall out. She did not want to be smuggling in small magical creatures to the castle. Though, before leaving, the prefect decided to give one last-ditch effort to the cause.

Presuming the last moke had not been scared off by her last attempt, Elena eyed the motionless cloak on the ground which contained her goal. All she had to do was get her hands on it, it seemed so simple but in this situation, things were not as they seemed. Having exhausted all her other options, the girl would lift the cloak once more and attempt to snag the last remaining moke with her hand moving as swiftly as she could. If successful, the girl would clasp both her hands over the creature presenting it to the professor before releasing it swiftly and leaving, cloak in hand with a grin on her face. If the attempt failed, the girl would sit there for a second taking in what had just happened before quickly gathering up her things and swiftly exiting the paddock,a slightly frustrated look on her face that she had been one of the few not to catch anything. It was an embarassing outcome in front of so many peers.

"Ah, actually, nevermind." Before Alan could reply to her, Professor Griffith had said that it was time to leave. She felt a bit embarrassed, so the girl didn't hesitate and interrupt him before he could say anything. "Well, goodbye." It was kind of funny that she still didn't know this Gryffindor's name although this wasn't the first time they met.

Luna walked away to pick all the things she bought with her and put them all in the bag. At least, she didn't have to throw it away. Realizing that a lot of people had already left, she made her way to the door. "Goodbye, Professor Griffith."

And the lavender hair girl was gone.

Just because I said you were bad does not mean that I am mean. It shows that I am honest.

Alan was surprised this would actually count, well it did not went completely as he planned, he could have you know still build a small fence withing the paddock and call it having caught them. But he was fine with this anyway, so he just shrugged it off proudly and got up from the stone-y ground after picking up one of the bits of rocks. His gaze turned towards the Mokes scrambling around and a smile grazed his lips for a moment. Maybe he could really do something like that someday. Watching creatures in a habitat without disrupting their natural behavior or even helping the hurt ones. He had learned though that a wild creature had to stay wild if there was still faith for it to live in the wildness. They could not learn to trust a human or whoever, that is what he read at least and if he would ask Griffith he would probably agree. After all none of those Mokes actually were tame.So after watching the Mokes for a bit he left the paddock.

”See you soon, Professor and by now I am one hundred percent sure that I will choose CoMC as an elective!”, he announced and ran towards the castle with the small rock in his hand as a small souvenir.
