Kaitlyn's Martch
March 21st
Prompt: Besties for the Resties
Reducio
Kaitlyn sat on her bed in the Slytherin girl's dorm. She held a picture frame in one hand while her other hand was petting her bunny, Demeter. A tear rolled down her face as she looked at the happy memory shared with her muggle best friends. ‘I miss them so much,’ she thought as another tear dropped onto her sheets.
Sniffling quietly, Kaitlyn let her eyes focus on her bunny. ‘I have made some pretty amazing friends here, and I found four amazing best friends. I should really show them that I appreciate them,’ she thought, before suddenly bouncing out of bed. “Sorry, Demeter! Mommy just thought of a great idea!” She giggled. She quickly ran to her desk to write four identical notes to her four best friends: Tracey, Row, Scarlet, and Quinn.
Friends come and friends go.
Some stay with you for a while,
While others disappear in the blink of an eye.
But, a best friend is different.
A best friend is a commitment.
A commitment to be there for the good, the bad, and the ugly.
A hope of optimism for life-long cultivation.
Pardon, I write this in celebration.
A celebration for my best friends.
To show you that I care.
To show that I’m here for you.
Hi!
Please come join me outside on the Hogwarts lawn. I’ll be waiting underneath a grove of trees, adjacent to the courtyard, for a celebration picnic, of friendship.
Love,
Kaitlyn
As promised, Kaitlyn was to be found sitting on a picnic blanket under the canopy of the grove of trees on the grounds adjacent to the courtyard. She wore a yellow dress and peach sandals. A full picnic basket was next to her. Feeling like an eternity, but really it was only a few minutes, she saw the familiar silhouettes of her friends. Tracey. Row. Scarlet. Quinn
With a bright smile, Kaitlyn jumped up to greet her besties. “Hi, Besties!” She greeted them enthusiastically. “Please join me in this grand feast,” she giggled, ushering her friends to the picnic. She packed plenty of food and of course, goodies that she made herself.

Kaitlyn's Martch
March 22nd
Prompt: House Elf
Character Used: Alice Weston (my character) from pfr.
Reducio
Alice skipped out of her family’s manor into their huge expanse of a backyard. About half of it was taken up by a huge magical garden. The family grew a quite large amount of dittany. There was a small patch of mandrakes, some bubotuber, peppermint, lavender, and pumpkins! She was only allowed to go outside, once all of her daily chores and assignments were finished. Oh, and all of her classes were finished: etiquette, her basic sorcerer education classes, and young lady classes.
Alice wore a white dress with matching white sandals. Her brunette hair was tied up in a ponytail. Her blue eyes danced around the garden, until it honed in on a source of work being done. The family’s house elf, Pinky. She skipped over to where the house elf was cultivating some leaves from a dittany plant. “Hi Pinky!” She addressed their house elf.
Pinky’s eyes widened and bowed to her. “Pinky likes to see Miss Alice. Miss Alice should visit Pinky more often,” she replied.
Alice nodded. “I’d love to but … I have so many obligations,” she frowned, and sighed.
“Pinky keep telling Alice to give make time for herself,” Pinky remindered.
“Yes, I’m sorry,” Alice apologized, “Anyway, Pinky, I came out here to help you with the dittany.”
Pinky shook her head. “Master said Pinky must do this, and Pinky must listen to master.”
Alice picked up a bucket, watering can, and gloves. “Yes, I know. But I could still help to make it go faster for you,” Alice replied, as she pulled on the gloves.
“If that’s what Miss Alice wants,” Pinky replied with big eyes.
“It is, Pinky. I’ll go start in the other corner,” Alice replied. “I’ll see you in a bit,” she giggled, as she ran off to the opposite corner.
“Yes, Pinky thanks you, Miss Alice.”
Within a few moments, Alice arrived at the far corner of the garden. She began watering a dittany plant, and began to harvest some of its leaves.

Prompt: An IC Item in Your Trunk
Reducio
"One item in my trunk is my sketchpad. This one is filled with my drawings from my muggle school. Another item is my set of drawing tools. I don't use all of them as often as I'd like, but I still maintain the full set. And this last item, a ballerina dancing ... I, well..." *Katie flushes bright red* "I received it from Minnie. I keep it in my trunk to keep it safe. But, when I'm in my dorm, it's proudly displayed on my nightstand, next to a pile of books."
