Hogwarts here I come!
The day had finally come. Goodbye muggle mundane world, hello to the vast world of wizardry. For the entire trip to Platform 9 3/4 I had the biggest smile on my face. Wide eyed trying to soak every bit of information and patch of scenery I could of my old life before I left.
The enormous red engine of the Hogwarts Express billowed smoke and hissed steam as it got ready to leave the station.
I lugged my trunk into the baggage area, then swiftly left to find an empty compartment as my anxiety was peaking due to the numerous people on the platform. Finally after ducking and weaving through kids and young adults, I had found my own compartment. I swiftly sat down bouncing a little in bursts of excitement. I brought out one of my textbooks to read on the train ride. The hiss of steam and metal wheels against the tracks, melded with the whistle of the conductor as the train began its commute.
Gone was the mundane life of a muggle from Manchester, on my way to the wizarding school of Hogwarts. Now if I am to be at this school for seven years, i need to at least make some friends.
