Just Make A Decision!! PV | Alexx

Koko had known that she'd have to send the long awaited reply. A reply about whether or not to move to France with her adoptive mother and her adoptive brothers. Or perhaps she would move to Los Angeles, where her kind adoptive father would move right after she was let out of school. It was just that the girl didn't want to make a decision. A decision that could impact the rest of her life.

She wasn't exactly sure what she wanted to do. She could take a Muggle device called an "airplane" to King's Cross Station, but she'd have to fly alone and she didn't know if she wanted to do that yet. She was only twelve... She hadn't even gotten anything in the mail from either of her parents for her recent birthday. It wasn't that she really cared--she hadn't thought that she would get anything.

In a way, she would want someone to vent to. Sapphire would be an option, but when would the other Slytherin be free? When could Koko pull her sister aside to have a small chat with her? Those questions would go unanswered. The child honestly didn't know...

It wasn't stupidity; it was ignorance. Ignorance, she thought, as another owl flew through one of the windows in the stone room and landed near her, extending a talon. A note was attached to its leg, tied cautiously with a ribbon. Koko bent down, stroked the creature gently on the head, and she untied the note. It had the Wreath family seal on it, which made the Slytherin unsure if the letter was a good thing or a bad thing.

She hesitated for a moment. She couldn't be caught sobbing in the Owlery. The owls might calm her down, but if a student came in...

She opened it.

Koko,
I've already told you what I know about Henry Riddle. Such a kind soul. And your mother, Esme, was always looking for the good in everyone. You do that, too. I hadn't seen it until you came home for the Winter Holidays, but I was able to glimpse it there.

Your choice will rest with you. I can't stop you from choosing what you believe is best for you. Charlie, Holmes, and I will always be there for you in France. They need a mentor! Attached is an address, and love.

Rosalie Wreath

Well. At least she had some tact.

Does she really think I am going back? Koko thought bitterly. She wasn't going to go live with Rosalie! Not ever again! No. She needed someone who would love her. Someone who would make her feel at home. They could always keep in touch, couldn't they?

Would she write a reply? Not yet. She wasn't ready yet. She glanced at the address, one in Rioux, France. It would be different than she was used to if she went; she was used to city life. That would make a transition to Los Angeles easier than one to Rioux, but... Was she sure about this?

Koko strode dejectedly over to a window, taking a seat on the windowsill. She had to hoist herself up so that she was able to sit on it, but this way she could think. She turned so that her feet were dangling on the outside, and she leaned back on her hands, resting them on the ground.

She wore her usual school uniform, robes included. In her pockets one might find either her wand, or perhaps a knife taken from Kaegen Deathmote; the belongings would always be in her pocket. She might need either of them sometime. She just hoped that no one would degrade her for carrying the weapon.

Koko wasn't fazed by the utter height of where she sat; no, it was perfectly fine. The breeze rushed past her, lifting her golden hair in the current. Her eyes were almost the colour of the setting sun, and she later closed them. Owls would swerve to not run into her because if they did, they might get hurt themselves. The girl would sit, basking in the sunlight, and not realising that she had discarded the letter, letting it fall softly to the ground near one of the candelabras. Perhaps she would actually be able to sit there and not have an owl fly straight into her face... One never did know...
