Kaitlyn smiled brightly at Violet’s confirmation of wanting more lessons from her. It meant a lot that her friend wanted her to continue to do so. Admittedly, she never did this before, so she had to wonder just how good or poor of a job she was doing. So, hearing that Violet liked her lessons made Kaitlyn very happy to hear it.

“Aw, thank you for your confidence in me. And yes, I agree. Rest is good. I don’t want you to get hurt,” she replied with a smile. “I’m fine sitting here, talking with you, Vio, my friend. I was only going to study, but I could do that later today; it’s nothing that important,” she observed with a twinkle in her eye. She gracefully sat down next to Violet, smoothing out her skirt, as she did so.

“For me, it came after years of dancing. As much as I’d love for you to be fully graceful, I don’t think it’ll happen that quickly after one session together. But, if you’re willing to be here with me, I’m willing to help you learn how to be more graceful with your dancing. And I’d love to dance together with you whenever you want. You don’t have to be at a certain level before I’m comfortable doing so with you. And thank you very much, Vio, that means a lot. I hope to improve, as well. Thank you for your trust,” Kaitlyn smiled brightly.

Violet smiled brightly as Kaitlyn sat down next to her. She was truly grateful to have such a friend, someone who cared about her and was ready to talk to her. It felt like having a loving family member at the school.

Kaitlyn mentioned about studying and Violet remembered having a bit of her own homework left. She had decided not to keep Kaitlyn for too long and waste both of their times. She had a question to ask, but she thought it was better to ask that when they would be going back to their dorms, or at least that was where Violet was going to go.

As Kaitlyn started speaking again, Violet listened to her intently and later spoke up, "I agree with you, Lyn! I would not achieve as much as grace as you, in just one lesson but I am so ready to learn and to improve, with you as my teacher! Thankyou for your kind words, Lyn! And I really hope you are enjoying as much as I am because personally, I think this lesson would be one of the most loved moments of mine at Hogwarts." Saying the last sentence, she smiled and looked down, playing with the hem of her floral dress.

Kaitlyn stayed quiet as Violet talked, letting her friend finish up her thoughts. ‘I’m happy she enjoyed this, and I enjoyed it, too. I’m happy to help her … whenever she wants my help,’ she thought. A smile danced on her lips, as Violet finished talking. The ever-polite Slytherin waited two beats before gushing her response.

“I’m positive you’ll be just as graceful as me in no time, especially if you continue dancing as well as you did today. And thank you for being such an excellent student. I am enjoying this, as well. The memory is burned in my mind. I love it already,” she smiled. Kaitlyn giggled before continuing. “I should draw this moment,” she giggled. It was too bad she did not have her sketchpad with her at the moment. No matter, her memory was not that poor, and she knew how Violet looked.

“Just let me know how often you’d like these lessons, Vio, and I promise I’ll make time for them whenever you want them,” Kaitlyn added with a bright smile. As much as she liked being spontaneous, she really liked to make plans. It gave her a feeling of accomplishment. She hoped Violet felt the same way.

Violet looked up when Kaitlyn replied to her, her hands pausing momentarily at the hem of her dress. She flushed slightly as she was once again complimented by her Slytherin friend. She said, "Thank you as well, for being such an amazing teacher. I could never stop talking about how good of a teacher, you are Lyn."

As Kaitlyn mentioned about her drawing the moment, she again replied, "Oh Kaitlyn! I would love to see that sketch of yours. Honestly, I would like to see other sketches of your as well. You already know, I am not good at drawing, painting and sketching, yet, that does not stop me from liking and enjoying the art."

Kaitlyn then went on talking about the dance lessons and Violet couldn't help but smile. She gushed, thinking, 'Lyn is so cute and sweet, oh my.' She said, "Oh well, what about lessons on weekends? They could be scheduled once or twice every week or every two weeks? What do you say? We can coordinate, by sending each other owls. Keeping a specific time might be difficult, considering, if any of us later on, wants to join a club that functions on a specific time and day."

Kaitlyn flushed lightly, letting Violet talk. About her being such an amazing teacher. It felt good to know, despite the fact that she never really tried doing this before, so she had no idea what she was doing. But, it was uplifting to know that Violet liked it. ‘Vio is so sweet. This is why I know we’re meant to be friends,’ she thought.

As Violet continued to talk, Kaitlyn played with the hem of her skirt, smiling brightly at the mention of her drawings. Considering her desire to dance for the time being, she failed to bring it with her currently. ‘I’ll remember to bring it with me for the next time I see her. Maybe to class? Or, whenever we dance again. I’ld like for Vio to see my art,’/ she thought.

Kaitlyn waited for Vio to finish talking, patiently showing her polite nature. Once Violet was done, she waited two extra beats before responding in kind. “Aw, thank you so much, Vio,” her cheeks flushed, but was glad that her friend liked her teaching. “Hehe, thanks! I would love to show you … if only I had my sketchpad. Maybe a raincheck? I want you to see them, so it’s only a matter of time,” she smiled broadly. “Honestly, I’ll make time with whatever I’m doing to dance with you. The weekends sound good to me, though. And yes, I’d love to schedule more sessions with you … and they don’t have to be formal either, if you’d prefer,” she replied with a bright smile.

Violet smiled hearing Kaitlyn's response. 'She is such a positive person to be around. I can not help but smile when I am with her', Violet thought to herself. For her, it was truly peaceful to have such a friend and thus, she was really grateful. She replied, "Alright then! We will schedule the sessions through owls. I do not mind short owls. After all, we just need to discuss the timings. Do bring your sketchpad next time, Lyn. I am pretty excited to have a look at it." Violet felt giddy when she was with Kaitlyn, and felt loved, for some reason, as if she was with her family. With the giddiness, she got lost in her thoughts for a moment or so, when she suddenly remembered she wanted to ask Kaitlyn something else too. She exclaimed, "Oh Kaitlyn! and added, "I totally forgot to ask you this. Well, you know, I found you to be a really good partner at Transfiguration. Although, you were a bit insecure, you actually were extremely good. I would like to continue studying the subject with you. Do you think you would have time for that? Only if you do not have scheduled it with someone else, of course! Like, I thought of meeting up in study room and do the homework together, thoroughly discussing the subject. What do you say?"

Katie giggled at Violet’s words and nodded. “Ok, I will keep that in mind. I do not mind short owls, either, as long as we keep up our communication. Oh, psst, of course. Don’t worry, Vio, I’ll show them to you. I have so many already. I can only imagine how many more I will have by the next time we meet,” she giggled, shaking her head .

As Violet sung her praises, Kaitlyn’s cheeks flushed lightly. ‘Did I make that good of an impression? I didn’t think so, but I guess I did?’ She waited a extra moment for Violet to finish, before responding back to her offer. “Why thank you, Vio. You were an excellent source of encouragement and enlightment. I should be the one thanking you,” she smiled brightly. “Of course, I’d love to continue studying Transfiguration … or really any subject for that matter, with you. Ah, yes, a study room would be excellent for that, as well. Yes, I’d love to continue studying with you,” she smiled, sincerely.

Katie smiled to Violet. “As you will likely see, I make sure I have time to spend with my friends. I’ll make sure I have the time to be with you, Vio,” she smiled again. “But, as much as I’d like to stay here forever … I have a bunch of notes to revise and study … I have mutliple revisions, if you are curious,” she giggled, as she stood up. She slipped her feet back into her sandals. “So, I’ll see you around, Vio. I await our flurry of owls for our next meeting!” She exclaimed, as she headed to the door.

Violet couldn't help but giggle, feeling a warm blush creeping up her cheeks as Kaitlyn once again praised her. 'Excellent source of encouragement and enlightenment', Kaitlyn had said, and the weight of those words settled heavily on Violet. "Me? Enlightenment? Oh trust me, that was not much. You already knew everything. My work was to just encourage you that day and help you to get over your anxiety," Violet responded, feeling a mix of surprise and gratitude.

As Lyn began to get up, preparing to leave, Violet smiled back, reassuring her friend while secretly wishing their unexpected encounter didn't have to end so soon. Reluctantly, Violet rose to her feet, slipped on her sandals, and expressed her heartfelt thanks to Kaitlyn. "Thank you so much, Kaitlyn. I had such a wonderful time with you today. I can't wait for our next meeting. Meanwhile, I'll keep sending owls your way. I will be keenly waiting to see your drawings and learn more about the muggle world, by the way. Let's meet again soon." With her brightest smile, Violet bid Kaitlyn goodbye, waving her hand and headed back to her dorm, filled with a newfound energy from the dance session the two girls had just shared.
