Violet's martch! COMPLETED

IC HOLIDAYS

Christmas. The most awaited period of the year. When the cold air, was warmed by the love and joy. When despite the white of the winter and snow, the atmosphere is warmly coloured with greens and reds.
It was finally the time of the year to visit her home, her mansion, her parents, her grandparents that she so dearly missed. Despite feeling at home in Hogwarts, she felt homesick, she truly was attached to the place she called home.
Violet boarded the Hogwarts express, excited about what the festival was to bring for her and her family. She was even excited for the Yule ball, her family would be attending, more like what they attended every year. She had to try hard to contain her feelings.
Getting off at the King's cross, Violet was pleasantly surprised by her grandparents who had come to pick her up rather than her parents. "GRANDMAMA! GRANDPAPA!", she screamed in delight, scaring a few kids by her side. Together they were driven home, to the Rohr Mansion. The Pine tree was yet to be decorated, as everyone knew it was Violet's favourite activity. Decorating the tree, was the only thing, that Violet preferred to do manually, without any magic. The Piano and the violin were already enchanted to play Christmas jingles. Lunch was served, and Violet had so much to tell. She was spoon-fed by her Nani, while she with her comparitively little hands tried to show how big Hogwarts is. Everybody had to giggle at her innocence. It was clear, how fascinating Violet found Hogwarts.
The evening was filled with Christmas shopping and tree decorating and a lots of teasing. Such, happy moments were to live for.
And a day later, it was time for the Yule Ball. Violet was dressed up in a royal blue gown, not really her favourite colour but something that complimented her dark hair and eyes. If she was honest, the Yule Ball wasn't as fun as spending alone time with her family, but it was a custom to attend the ball. She had met a few of her Hogwarts friends, and she daresay enemies.

She couldn't keep a track of time, on how the Christmas holidays finished so fast and she was back at King's cross, ready to board the train again. With one sad look, she said a goodbye to her family, ready to restart studying again.

A really short poem,about someone unsatisfied with where they have reached, unsatisfied with their fateful destiny. They were not able to change it themselves and the 'friends' they had along the way, were of no help either.
