Willow smiled at March's enthusiasm. Quite contrary to what some people believed, as in introvert, she thoroughly enjoyed when other people talked. It made her feel more comfortable to be a listener rather than the center of attention. She tugged again at her dress, very glad that the other girl was having a good time so far.
"Oh, you look great," She assured her friend sweetly. "Dark blue is very nice on you," It was of her opinion that red hair and blue clothes simply went together- that's why she had chosen her dress. "Are you planning to dance?" Willow asked her March, a little afraid. It was a ball, and dancing was surely expected, but Willow had horrible stage fright and wasn't sure if she could muster the courage to dance. Although very graceful and light on her feet, she didn't know how one was even supposed to dance at a ball. Oh, well. She'd cross that bridge when she came to it.
There was a commotion over by the food table, and Willow turned to see a pretty girl who's dress was currently being soaked in punch. Empathy overtook her, and she hated to see the girl in such a situation. Shy as she was, Willow was very kind and simply could not turn her back. She leaned closer to March and whispered,
"I'll be right back." She tiptoed over to the food table and grabbed some napkins, intending to mop up the floor and table. Trying not to get her own dress dirty, she swiped at the liquid across the table. Willow quietly extended some of the towels to the girl in the punch-stained dress and hoped that the gesture would be appreciated.
I've lived a thousand lives and I've loved a thousand loves. I've walked on distant worlds and seen the end of time- because I read.

| ⠀ | At long last, it was time for their parting speech, time had passed by relatively quickly, or very slowly depending on how one looked at it. Kim wasn't much for speeches but since he was considered to be one of the two hosts of the ball, it was necessary for him to at least say a few words. He hadn't done much to greet the guests, therefore the least he could do was be the first to say something relating to the ending speech for those who had come. Kim glanced around the area. At least many of their guests had left on their own by now. That was a small blessing in disguise for him. Only a few remained now. "Verdimillious!" Kim incanted, pointing his wand upward at the ceiling of the ballroom. A burst of green sparks shot out of the end of his wand and exploded near the ceiling, most likely attracting the attention of everyone present in the room. "Thank you all for coming to the BaiKim Ball again this year. We hope you enjoyed your time this year and will see you again next year at the same time and the same date. Don't forget to take your little gift bags with you and have a great holiday or if you don't celebrate, have a great break." Kim told all the guests. "Feel free to stay longer and wrap things up. We'll be here for another hour cleaning up, so take your time. Thank you all for coming again." Kim added and turned around to head further into the room. That was it for him. Bailey might say a few words after he'd left but he didn't need to stay around for that. It wasn't as if he'd wanted to do this in the first place, he wasn't exactly in the right mindset, but Bailey had roped him into it. He wondered how many people actually cared about BaiKim or if they'd come just because it had been one of the many events now here at Hogwarts. This had been the first time in awhile that he'd said so many words to anyone. Well, it hadn't really been to anyone in particular, he'd addressed all of the guests at the ball. Then again, at club meetings he also tended to talk a lot but not to anyone in particular. He supposed it was more like a robotic response. Kim was good at those by now, he'd had experience. A small sigh escaped his lips as he disappeared into the background of the decorated room. He'd stay there for awhile and then begin to start cleaning up the area with Bailey, once everyone else had left. Kim would clean-up in full silence. It was just how he was now. Eventually, when the room was clean again, he would silently leave after a slight acknowledgement towards Bailey with a nod of his head. "See you around." There was obviously something wrong with him, Kim didn't tend to use his trademark goodbye. He'd always said goodbye in Mandarin and yet now he didn't say a single word, or spoke in English. It was time to pay a visit to his favorite place. The greenhouses. Namely, Greenhouse One, because it was the less dangerous one. Kim liked to be able to relax.... Being inside Greenhouse One did just that for him now. | ⠀ |

ReducioHow is it so blue-Man, why did her assailant have to be so un-aggressive? Even as she ranted on and on, all he could do was stare at the floor and look like he was about to cry. Great, now she felt like an absolute jerk! Seriously, couldn’t he at least try to defend himself? It really made the whole yelling thing a lot easier.
When she finally got done, he backed up like he was afraid she would attack him. Renelle resisted the urge to roll her eyes. If she’d had violence on her mind, she wouldn’t have waited this long and wasted so much breath. Besides, she generally considered herself a very peaceful person. Er, sometimes.
She waved his apologies away. Not like they would do much good now. “Yeah, sure. It’s fine, whatever.” It was true that the Ravenclaw could get mad easily, but she also calmed down relatively quickly. After the initial commotion, it was mostly all over. Part of her wanted to drag this out a bit, but she had a feeling that this boy would not be able to handle any more hostility, what with how he looked like he was about to burst into tears any second now.
She was just about to leave with dear Astra, perhaps to take a page out of her fellow guest’s book and accidentally spill a drink on Signore Diaz, when she was surprised the second time this afternoon, by one of her peers. This time is a more positive way, however.
“Oh uh, thanks!” Sometime during the events earlier, a redheaded girl had snuck her way toward them, and was now silently mopping up the drinks spilled on the floor and table, as well as offering a few napkins to Renelle herself. Taking them with what she hoped was a pleasant and grateful smile (though it most likely came across as more of a grimace), she started half-heartedly wiping herself down. What a nice girl.Interacting with @Astra Norrick | @Keith Moore | @Willow Byrne
