Madi's Martch Martch 24

Madi walked out of her bedroom, rubbing her eyes. Her little sister ran up to her and grabbed her legs, looking up at Madi with the cutest eyes. She released her hands from her older sister's leg and held up all of her fingers, giggling. Right. Madi was turning ten today.

She laughed and picked Analia up. No doubt her sister had been put up to this by her parents. 'Yeah, I'm ten!" she grinned. They walked into the kitchen, where a small box sat on the kitchen table. There were balloons attached to Madi's usual chair, and her parents stood beaming on each side.

"Happy birthday!" they exclaimed, and then began belting out the song "happy birthday". After they finished, Madi sat in her chair in front of her present. Her parents told her to open it, beaming widely at the gift. She did, and tore open the wrapping paper to find a box. When she opened the box, a thin black device sat inside of it. Madi broke into a wide grin and held it up. Her very first phone. There was a case lying right next to it, green, Madi's favorite color. She slipped her new phone into it. Also in the box was smaller, square green case, and when she opened it, she found earbuds inside. She clapped a hand over her mouth, jumped up, and hugged her parents.
