Opening The Doors To A Bright Future - Learning Aberto| Open RP
One of his last classes of the day, but perhaps the one that fascinated him the most. Astronomy, a study of the cosmos, of planets and constellations. "Perhaps I may also learn about various weather patterns." Anthony thought as he made his way up the Astrology tower, mainly to try to get his mind off of the endless number of stairs. He was a bit early to class, spending his free period to perhaps grab a sneak peek as to what laid ahead for him during class and what he could expect for the rest of the year.
As Anthony finally reached the top, he was amazed at what he saw. Although the classroom was obviously meant for smaller classes - which he didn't mind - there were several different tools and interesting pieces of equipment all over the room. There were maps on tables, a huge telescope in the front of the classroom, and a strange device that Anthony recognized as an Astrocompass, which helped in mapping out constellations and determining the true North, South, East, and West positions.
He gazed in awe as he noticed that there were no walls, only handrails that allowed students to look out into the sky. The ceiling floated magically but also seemed to be cast with a disillusionment charm to make it see-through. The sun had just set, and the moon was letting in its light, giving the classroom a sort of glow. Anthony but down his books on one of the desks, careful not to touch or break anything. He then approached the edge of the classroom and leaned on one of the handrails as he looked at the stars. It was one of the most beautiful sights he had ever seen, he couldn't wait to start class and learn about the cosmos and beyond.
Anthony then heard someone was approaching up the stairs of the astronomy tower Anthony froze. Was it just another early student? Was it the Professor? Would he get in trouble for being up here without permission? He didn't know the answer to any of these, but he would soon find out...

As Lumine made her way up the stairs of the astronomy tower, her eyes, sparkling with excitement as she got permission to go up the Astronomy Tower. The familiar creak of the steps echoed in the quiet night, adding to the silent atmosphere of the place. She clutched her notebook tightly against her chest, finding comfort in its familiar weight.
Almost reaching the top of the tower, Lumine paused for a moment to catch her breath, Lumine was never that athletic, and the way up the tower was quite long. She completely froze when she thought she saw a shadow of another student, then deciding it was her own social anxiety messing with her head.
As she looked around the classroom, she noticed the other student standing at the edge, LOOKING AT THE STAIRS. Lumine hesitated for a long while, unsure if she should approach or simply leave and pretend that the fellow Ravenclaw male never heard her stepping up the stairs
Lumine silently tried to step down but she couldn't muster the courage to do so. She muttered angrily but softly to herself, "I can't even move now can I? I had plenty of social practice with Kaitlyn. What's wrong with a fellow Ravenclaw" Lumine ripped out a page in her near-full notebook and wrote a large "Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt."

Anthony kept looking out into the stars, taking little notice at the person who had just walked in. He was nervous, even a little fearful at the thought of it being the professor. He didn't exactly have permission to be in the Astronomy Tower, but he had heard of a special cosmic event going on specifically tonight and he had to see it.
It was a cloudless night. All you could see were the stars, their bright twinkling a beautiful contrast to the brightness of a full moon. The magical phenomenon would appear in about 15 minutes and Anthony couldn't wait. Astrology and the night have always fascinated him, almost as much as elemental and weather-based magic, which he had a deep fascination with.
He then heard a strange noise, like something ripping. He turned around and saw a girl about the same age as him with bluish-white hair which beautifully complimented her dark greenish blue eyes. She wore a similar uniform as himself. She was a fellow Ravenclaw. This came as a sort of surprise to Anthony, since most of the students he had encountered in his classes were Hufflepuff. There wasn't anything wrong with Hufflepuffs of course, it was just nice to finally be able to speak to a fellow Ravenclaw.
The girl was holding a sheet of notebook paper with bold letters on it saying, "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt." Anthony could already tell that she may be a shy sort of student. Anthony was honestly the same way most of the time, only occasionally he would be filled with a confidence that allowed him to be social. Once he made a friend he usually was a very open, sometimes nervous, and loyal friend. Anthony smiled, "It's okay, you didn't really interrupt anything," he said in a quieter voice than usual. "I was just looking out into the stars, they truly are beautiful, especially on a night like tonight."
He debated on wither are not he should mention that he wasn't exactly supposed to be up here, in the end he decided not to tell her. "Not going to lie it's nice to see a fellow Ravenclaw. Most of the friends that I've made so far were Hufflepuffs, it's nice to see a change in pace. I'm Anthony by the way." He reached out for a handshake, hoping that she would take it...
