Dance to This pv puck! Closed

While Elena wasn't usually one for dancing, she could occasionally be found in the ballroom doing something or other interesting. Usually just lying in the corner reading, or watching dancers do what they did way too well for a bunch of eleven and twelve year olds. Maybe they'd been dancing since they were young, but that was still a lot of child prodigies for one school.

Then again, maybe magic just gave you more ability than you should have. Elena could play passably on every instrument she had, except for flute, which she was good at. An interesting amount of talent for her age, magic enhancing more of her life than just her ability to cast spells or craft potions.

Today the ballroom wasn't silent, but that was fine, even if it was filled with music they didn't usually notice Elena at all. This time when she entered, Talia Piper was inside, meaning she was in for a friendly conversation instead of a quiet time.

"Tally!" Elena called out to her friend as she walked inside, the high ceilings inside the ballroom meant the temperature dropped from inside to outside. Elena rubbed her hands to warm them, "Nice to see you!"

Hearing a familiar voice echo through the grand ballroom, Tal scrambled up to her feet and slid over to where Elena was standing, her socks gliding smoothly on the ground. "Hiya Puck!" she squealed, wrapping her arms around the blue haired friend of hers.

"It's been a while!" Tal exasperatedly flung her hands down and spun around sloppily, grinning a big, giddy smile as she did so. "How're you? Besides being really extremely super duper cool!"

It was definitely no secret that Talia looked up to Puck like an older sister, even if they weren't too far apart in age. There was some sort of confident but kind air that Elena always seemed to radiate, this certain feeling that she gave off, that the Hufflepuff absolutely admired. And Talia was definitely proud to be able to call this girl her friend!

"Do you know how to dance?" Tal asked, speaking quickly and curiously, a dramatic and whimsical edge to every one of her lisped words. "I'm not too great, not nearly as good as some of the others here, but I've been trying to get even better!"

Tal herself was a pretty decent dancer. Nothing special for her age, but she knew a bit. Though she did much prefer just prancing around freely more than doing actual skills, if she was being completely honest!

Elena laughed happily as Tal sock slid her way over and hugged her, "Too long I agree, and thanks that's so sweet of you! I'm doing pretty well. How's my favourite ray of sunshine?"

It was true that it'd been too long since the dynamic duo had talked to each other, too many things had happened between now and then too, weird explosions, random kidnappings. Elena ruffled Tal's hair, glad that she hadn't been at either of those events, it was like Tal was somehow magically able to not be at places where bad things were going to happen.

"I don't think I've ever danced before actually, so I wouldn't really know how." Elena hummed, then continued on, "I think you'd probably be an amazing dancer, you're too cool and adorable not to."

Although she'd seen Min-seo dance, Elena herself had never really tried to, it couldn't be any harder than quidditch right? That was mostly about how to move without falling off or looking like an idiot, less the latter she supposed but there was nothing more fun than a showy performance for some adoring fans, she'd have to ask Ami if she had any adoring fans. The sports correspondent was sure to know.
