By no standards was Talia Piper the type of person meant to run a club. Quite shy, really awkward, and rather soft, too empathetic and dreamy to keep her eyes on the prize.

But would that stop the little girl? Absolutely not. She marched on in to the rehearsal room, her fuzzy sock covered feet a' paddin, and her big wide caramel eyes a' twinklin. Her hot pink electric guitar hung from her shoulder by its pastel rainbow strap.

This was, hmm, her third meeting? Tal had lost count. But what she did know, was how to properly set up all the amp cords and microphones, the speakers and the music stands. Like they said, third time's the charm! And it was definitely true, everything from the rows of chairs to the sheets of music that she had made for everyone was all perfect!

Oh yeah, the music! Talia had managed to compose a lovely little classical melody, one with a little pop of electro, one inspired by her outside picnic adventure with a friend! The whole seven minute tune gave off a wonderful vibe of nature and charm and happiness! When she had created it, she just knew it would make any listener feel relaxed and hopeful, it would alleviate any stress, and just let them feel. Tal loved to feel!

Time to draw on the chalkboard, then, her favorite part of them all! As she stood on her very tip tip tip toes, trying to reach the board to write the stuff on it, she hummed the tune quietly, her loopy little scrawl reading, New piece to learn, yay! in big letters at the top, followed by a list.

-assign instrument roles to everyone!
-practice the song!
-give the melody a name!
-talk about fundraiser ideas and performances!
-give out special stuff at the end : )

At the very bottom of the board, the words, Welcome to Luna, Jade, and Em! were also scribbled, with a little cloud bubble surrounding them, along with many, many happy faces.

Walking to the other side of the stage to admire her work from afar, Tal's stance was quite like that of a superhero's. Legs spread slightly, hands on her hips, looking up confidently, a happy expression on her face.

The board stood at the front of the stage, at the far left when looking out from the back of the stage, so as not to block the view of the (pretend) audience. The chairs for the members were organized in two sets of five, both groups just one straight row, so everybody could see and could be seen from anywhere in the theater-like room, of course with the stands for the music sheets in front of each! Tal's own chair was in the front, where it was easiest to address the whole club. And there were a few cardboard boxes stacked up at the back of the stage, too, with a surprise she had come up with!

She excitedly raced to the doors of the rehearsal room, pushing them open happily to let everyone in!
