As soon as Lamik had delivered the injured girl to the hospital wing, he had begun sprinting. Through the hallways and up the stairs, bobbing and weaving around students and professors alike. His robes, once black, were now drenched in blood, but changing was the least of his concerns. Only eleven, a run through the castle should have been nearly impossible, but the adrenaline coursing through his veins was enough to keep the boy energetic and aware of his surroundings.

"Let me through! I need to get through!"

He yelled as he ran to make sure that everyone got out of the way. While most people didn't have time to register the blood and listened, some of the older students tried to stop him. Luckily, lamiks agile body and small frame made it relatively easy to move around the crowds.

As soon as he got to the headmaster's office, Lamik stopped. Standing there panting and covered in blood and sweat, the eleven-year-old looked like he had just come out of a horror movie. As the boy stared through the door, his eyes welled up with tears and he fell to his knees. He had finally had enough of Hogwarts. "Help..."

OC: Sorry for the delay.

IC:

Solomon was in his nice, safe, non-exploding office. He was enjoying, well not particularly 'enjoying' but performing his main duty: paperwork. It was tedious, soul numbing and draining but it was also necessary. He had long suspected that he earned the position of Headmaster because the work involved with the position kept him out of 'trouble.' Danger and misfortune, a minor portion of it could be attributed to the now Headmaster was a vast majority of it was the fact that they allowed children access to dangerous magic and the implement that makes casting possible. It was like handing a loaded gun to a pre-teen and being astonished that they shot themselves in the foot.

There was some shouting outside of his office.

"Let me through! I need to get through!"

Solomon dropped his quill into his inkwell. He had already planted his hands on the top of his desk to stand, curious and a bit concerned regarding the commotion. Before Solomon could even leave his desk and peer into the hall a young boy, covered in blood would rush into his office. The kid looked like he had seen a war. The color drained from Solomon's face and his mouth was agape. He did not find any words before the boy tearfully made his single-word plea.

"Help..."

Solomon stumbled over his own feet a bit as he rounded the desk and hastily made his way over to the boy. What happened? He did not seem to be on fire, that was the most common cause of injury it would seem. Solomon knelt down, afraid to touch the boy in case he was suffering a dire wound. "I will get you to the Medical Wing," Solomon announced with a quavering voice. "Where are you bleeding from?" A better question, why did he not go straight to the medical wing? There was no time for that, the kid was probably bleeding out.

Solomon tried to clamp his hands down on the kid's shoulder and look the kid in the eye has he asked him, "What did you do?" It might have sounded like an accusation and to an extent it was. Kids these days were more a menace to themselves than society or even dark lords.

OC: Its ok. I know that it wasn't exactly the best starter.

IC: Lamik shook his head, looking up at Solomon with a terrified expression. He took a few moments to answer. How could he be the one who was being blamed for what just happened? Why would it look like it was his fault? "No- I'm not hurt! I didn't do anything!" The boy's voice cracked as he spoke. The tears finally started streaming down his cheeks, but wiping them away merely smeared his face with red.

"There was a bomb... the bathroom! People were hurt and there was a boy with a knife- he stabbed her! I swear I didn't do it!"

As soon as he finished his vague and panicked explanation, Lamik broke down and started sobbing. As he cried, the boy repeated a few of the things he had said- short phrases like "It wasn't me" and "He had a knife". The boy was still crying, unable to calm down. He looked down at his hands and slouched down, closing his eyes again and shaking uncontrollably. "She was hurt so I brought her to the medical wing. I didn't know what to do. I promise- it wasn't me."

"No- I'm not hurt! I didn't do anything!"

"What do you mean you're not hurt, you're covered in blood!" Solomon exclaimed.

"There was a bomb... the bathroom! People were hurt and there was a boy with a knife- he stabbed her! I swear I didn't do it!"

"What in the ever living... was a bomb?" Wasn't that some sort of muggle slang for a person that is a pleasure to be around? He did not understand that adjective in the context of what the first year Gryffindor was saying but he did understand the act of stabbing. A pedestrian act of muggle violence. He did not even give the poor kid a chance to answer that question. His previous accusations had caused the unfortunate child to melt into a puddle of tears.

"Ok... OK... I uh... believe you."

Solomon just wanted the kid to resume making full sentences again. He was not particularly skilled at dealing with tears and children and was not entirely sure what to do with him. His instinct was not the keenest when it came to children. There was this desire to rattle him like a piece of defective equipment and see if that would make him 'better' again. He resisted the urge.

"She was hurt so I brought her to the medical wing. I didn't know what to do. I promise- it wasn't me."

Another medical wing something. The poor school nurse was going to need every last inch of that wing. These students were proving to be more harm to themselves then even the darkest of lords. "And the 'bomb' did this?" Solomon verified. he was not far off, he considered the cause to be a well-regarded person. The boy was referring to a mechanical device made by a crazy person. Very similar things, large grey line.

"Take me to them," Solomon ordered still not entirely sure what to do with the blood and the tears as he gave an awkward pat-pat that he immediately regretted as he felt the sticky, tacky his hand was stained red. He made a face that echoed his internal regret and then brushed that same hand off on a cleaner part of the kid's robes.

Lamik looked up at the man, unsure of what to make of his order. "Y-you want me to go back there?" While the mere thought of returning to the crime scene terrified him, what was even worse was the fear of bumping into the insane boy again. "But what if... What if he's still in there?"

Before giving the headmaster time to respond, Lamik suddenly started getting up onto his feet. Not seeming to notice his blood-drenched robes or the red stains he left on the floor, the boy didn't have the willpower to protest, no matter how scared he was.

"The bathroom. It was in one of the bathrooms. I... It was my first time in it- I didn't even know it existed." Lamik prayed that he remembered the way back. He had left the abandoned bathrooms too quickly to actually figure out that they were abandoned and hadn't bothered to memorize the way back during his sprint to the Headmaster office. After getting up he froze, seemingly lost in thought before a fresh wave of tears spilled down his face, the boys face betraying every emotion that he was feeling: Fear, embarrassment, sadness, and shame among several others.

"Y-you want me to go back there?"

Does Solomon want the child to tell him where the stabby child is so that he can stop him before the child goes on some murder spree? "YES," Solomon answered empathetically.  Yes, he very much wanted to go to the place of the stabbing.

"But what if... What if he's still in there?"

That was somewhat the objective. Solomon nodded, his eyes a bit wide. "That... would be helpful... yes," Solomon admitted carefully hoping that the boys tears have halted.

"The bathroom. It was in one of the bathrooms. I... It was my first time in it- I didn't even know it existed."

The boy would blurt out before another wave of tears started to pour out and a flood of anxiety would overcome the Headmaster. Oh god they are back! Solomon would reach down and attempt to pick the boy up, a hand under each of the boy's arms. Despite Solomon's apparently elderly facade he was a strong man in his own right, not that the boy weighed much or he needed to be particularly powerful to lift the kid. But he did try to turn the kid around once aloft so his crying was away from him. With a pair of outstretched arms Solomon would attempt to carry the boy out of the office stiffly.

He would attempt to find the abandoned toilets. The Headmaster was unfortunately quite familiar with them, a haven for troublemakers but they were impossible to lock down. The specter resident would often unlock the door, too lonesome to keep the passageway locked. It was a perennial frustration of Solomon's. He should simply place a Prefect on guard duty at the toilets at this rate but he was concerned if that would be come a safety issue for the Prefects. "The toilets on the second floor?" Solomon verified. The kid sure went a long way to reach the Headmaster considering.

Not exactly sure what was going on, Lamik didn't resist Solomons grasp. Being carried around wasn't exactly comfortable but there wasn't much that the boy could do.

"The toilets on the second floor?"

Lamik thought for a moment; he wasn't entirely sure whether or not the room he entered was on the second floor, but he did seem to recall climbing up a single floor's worth of stairs during the exploring session that led to his unfortunate meeting with the crazed boy. "I.. think so." By now the tears had stopped flowing and the first year was sniffling softly. As he let himself relax as much as possible, given the situation. Replaying what had happened inside of the abandoned bathrooms in his head, Lamik spoke up quietly, almost as if he was afraid to get scolded again. "He said- the boy with the bomb- he said that his name was Kaegen. Kaegen Deathmote, I think."

Looking back at the old man with a questioning look, Lamik wriggled in the air, struggling a bit to be let go of his grasp. "Could you let me down, please? I don't like being picked up." The boy pushed against Solomons arms lightly, seemingly very uncomfortable.

Solomon let the boy back down. The boy gave a name, a "Keagan Deathmote". The name sounded vaguely familiar but he could not recall a reason why. Solomon had a good reason for forgetting the boy's name, it was after the theft of the mask and the obstinate stance of the former Headmaster and the Professors that had enraged him. They wished to keep the school open and to obfuscate the truth, leaving the students unknowing in the path of danger for the sake of not looking bad in front of the rest of the magical world. It made him sick and it might have made him go a bit mad in fact. Kaegen Deathmote was one of the students that volunteered in his stables last year before he gave his position up and took on his new role as Headmaster. He had forgotten about the boy, they came and went as they pleased, he did not know the kid was inside when he locked the door and trapped the child inside overnight. The Ravenclaw eventually broke out or was freed, he had learned of the incident much later and was in a haze the months that the masked boy was on the loose so the memory was in truth just a haze.

"I think I know the kid," Solomon announced. "Come on." Solomon was going to head to the abandoned bathroom and see if he could find this disastrous wonder Kaegen Deathmote.
