Sorry, I thought you were a tree
Interacting with: @Linda RamirezIt was a gorgeous winter morning, and the lack of wind made it perfect for a walk. Kage stumbled along the white blanket of snow, feeling a slight sliver of regret for ruining the perfectness of it. For some reason, he felt like it'd been years since it last snowed, even though it hadn't. Kage always felt awful when the snow started to melt.
He leaned down and scooped a small handful of fresh snow, forming it into an atrociously lopsided ball. He chucked it into the distance, watching as it broke apart on the layer of ice formed on the lake. Kage repeated this several times, never getting bored.
He finally left the side of the lake and ventured closer towards Hogwarts. The massive castle never failed to impress him. Especially now, with the snow covering the peaks and the sunshine radiating off the arches and peaks.
Kage formed another snowball, pleased with how nicer they had gotten. He slowed to a stop, watching a reddish-haired girl walking along in the distance. Suddenly, impulsively, he chucked the snowball lightly at her, his lungs turning into ice as he realized what he'd just done.
It broke apart on her back. Kage froze, horrified. What had gotten into him?
"Oh no. I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, I- I thought you were a, like a tree." He called, stumbling over his words in the freezing air.

It was a good winter day and Linda thought it would be great to actually go out to walk for a while. She didn't know if she liked winter or not. It was cold but she liked snow. She was thinking whether to take her kitten or leave her in the room and after some minutes decided to go alone.
Linda changed her clothes and went out. She spent some time walking near the Great Lake and decided to go to the grounds. This was really enjoying and she even stopped to take some snow and make show Hogwarts.
It was childish perhaps, but she couldn't deny the enjoyments it brought. Finishing with castle, she stood up and continued walking.
Suddenly she felt something hitting lightly her back. Linda turned around in time to notice snowball falling behind her. She looked at the guy in the distance who was now apologizing. Linda wondered for a moment how could someone with red hair, that were standing out especially well in this snow, be mistaken for a tree?
After some seconds spent in trying to decide what she was feeling, hurt that she was called a tree, snowball getting to her back or actually that was alright, she decided she wasn't angry. A tree? That would be great to see tree with red in winter here. Anyway, that's alright, as long as you don't mind me joining snowball fight. She chuckled, coming closer to the guy.
