Starting first year Locked

A small 4'2 first year female walks into her first class, "Defense Against the Dark Arts," she wonders why we should attend this class anymore, "Isn't Voldemort and his Death Eaters dead?" she thought. "All the evil from this world is gone... Right?" Her cold baby blue eyes, went to inspect the room. "Kay... Doesn't seem all that serious." She just arrived at Hogwarts, she wasn't surprised she got put in Ravenclaw, though she was hoping for Slitheryn like her mother's house. Her aunt... went to Beauxbatons, though she thinks she would have been put in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. When she first arrived at Diagon Alley to buy her items, she had zero problems finding her books, clothing, and her materials. She had trouble finding her Remembrall, as she refused to go to Weasley Wizard Wheezes at first, but time was running low and she obtained her Remembrall anyway. She walked into her class and took a seat. She looked at the time and found she was 30 minutes early. She takes a breather and starts studying, she wants to get good grades and then get a good job at the ministry. But secretly, she hopes to make friends too, to talk to, to hang out with, to smile with. She was always a lonely girl, as a pure-blood, she stayed away from non-magical muggles. She hopes she can make friends with half-bloods and muggles too.

As the first year Hufflepuff student, Amanda, made her way to her Defense Against the Dark Arts class, she was holding her textbooks under her arm, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness. She had heard rumors about the class being one of the most challenging and dangerous subjects at Hogwarts, and she was determined to make a good impression on her professor. As she entered the classroom, her eyes scanned the room for an open seat. The room was filled with students, all eagerly waiting for the lesson to begin. she spotted a seat in the back of the room and made her way towards it, hoping not to draw attention to herself her heart began racing with anticipation. when she sat in her seat, she opened her textbook and started to read it she had thoughts racing in her head she was hoping to make friends but was nervous, wondering if they would even like her she looked down at her textbook and started to scan the pages as she waited for class to begin. she had arrived early because she didn't know her way around the school yet and she didn't want to be late for her first day.

Alyx entered the room, books in hand. She noticed she was quite a bit early, "Yes!" she muttered to herself. Being punctual was something she held high in value and she was glad she had some wiggle room. Setting her books down on her desk she promptly sat and put her quill in the avalible ink jar. Alyx was a mixture of excitement and nerves for this class. She had heard stories of the DADA teachers in Potter's time, evil teachers year after year. The thought that possibly her Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher might be evil was thrilling, but she knew that wasn't likely. After all, hogwarts hasn't had a bad teacher for a very long time. As she waited for class to begin she noticed a few students from other houses, two slytherins two hufflepuffs, and a fellow ravenclaw. Alyx was glad that she was early but that there was also other students. nothing is more awkward than ariving early and being the only one. She smiled politely to the group of students that was there already and briefly waved her hand in a friendly greeting, "Hello Everyone." Alyx's tone was light and friendly. She wanted to start a good conversation with the fellow first years before class started, "Uh...I'm Alyx by the way. Alyx with a Y."

Silver came in holding some books in her arms, in front of her chest. She was hoping she wasn't late, and she wasn't. "Hello? Am I late? I hope not..." She asked the class. She seemed a bit nervous, but not too much. She did make a friend in flying class so her hopes to make one here weren't as low. But she also couldn't stop thinking about how fun that class was. She was prepared for this one though. She expected to hear, learn, or see some creepy stuff. Since it was the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. She knew she would have to stand up and be brave for this class especially.

She noticed the Ravenclaw that was in front of her, and she thought that she looked pretty. "Oh, hi. Are you a Ravenclaw? You seem like you are. I like Ravenclaw students, but mostly my house. Although, that would make sense. Oh wait, I just keep rambling on. What's your name? Mine is Silver. Silver Artemis." She puts her hand out expecting the Ravenclaw to shake her hand. Silver knew she seemed a bit nervous, but not much. Just like herself! So she wasn't expecting her to be scared to shake her hand.

History of magic turned into The defense against the dark arts. Andy walked in the class. "Today, we will be learning a spell that saved my life one day, Stupefy. This spell stuns a enemy. Wands out." I tried stupefy on the training dummy. "Since you are first years you aren't ready for real duels." Said professor. The Ravenclaws groaned. "Well, for homework you have to practice stupefy and next class show what you learned. Then, we will start learning a bit more advanced spells afterward." Said the professor. Then Andy went to Herbology. The last class before lunch.
