Kaitlyn smiled and nodded to Regina’s confirmation. “I never understood how someone could rush to finish a piece of art,” she shruggged. She vastly perferred to take her time for perfection.

At Regina’s thanks, Kaitlyn smiled and nodded. “You’re welcome. You can paint it whatever way you’d like, as it is your art, but I like what you did,” she smiled. She let her blue eyes return to Demeter, slowly petting her bunny, again.

When Regina introduced herself, Kaitlyn gave her a bright smile. “It’s nice to meet you, Regina. I get it. I’m the same way … Are you are Bellus twins? I have a twin sister, Abigail, who is similar to me,” she giggled. “I don’t recall knowing Bellus, but I’m glad to have met you, Regina,” she smiled sincerely to the Ravenclaw girl.

At Regina’s answer to her question, Kaitlyn quickly realized that she was misunderstood. A fresh flush bloomed on her cheeks. “Sorry … I like to work by myself, too,” she initially responded. She let her eyes fall to her feet, almost as if she was deep in thought. It took her a few beats, before she looked back up to Regina. “I asked not to sound weird or crazy, but to ask if you wanted to meet up like this at some point? I know you just said that you like to be alone … But, I can be quiet if you prefer that, I only figured that maybe we can work on our art at the same time, since we both like it so much? If you want … of course. I honeslty wouldn’t mind if you don’t want to,” she rambled, hoping Regina would accept her request. Despite thier rocky start, she wanted to learn more about this Ravenclaw girl. Even if they weren’t talking, just being near each other was enough for her.

Regina smiled softly at how Kaitlyn was glad to meet her, she had never felt so.. appreciated this way. “Yes, Bellus is my eldest sister. Though we actually have another sister, Flora, and we’re triplets. Pity that Flora isn’t attending Hogwarts though, it would be fun to have her with us.”

She was more than happy to hear that the Slytherin girl also has a twin sister, she couldn’t help but notice all the similarities they share with each other, and what an amazing team they would make together. “I’m really glad to meet you too, Miss Connor,” she said, playfully and more relaxed.

The RavenClaw girl tilted her head as Kaitlyn went on with her request. It would be wonderful to have a friend, perhaps she could even get to know more about her. Though she was most excited to share her stories and what’s interesting in her life to her new friend, as she was quite tired from only talking to her sister everyday.

“Sure.”

Although her answer was short and plain, and she didn’t sound as thrilled as she was on the inside, Regina had never been more excited to learn more about the Slytherin girl. How they would have a lovely time together, sharing art tips and chattering, and how Cosmo would have a new bunny friend too! Only if he would stop pouncing on small critters whenever he saw one, Regina could imagine her having a nice time with Kaitlyn while their pets chase around mischievously, she couldn’t help but stifle a giggle at the scene.

Having finished the carrot slices Kaitlyn had provided her, Demeter had turned around and nuzzled her hand. She looked down at her pet bunny and giggled. She looked back up at Regina and smiled to her. “Oh, cool. I haven’t met triplets before,” she noted. “But that is awesome that you have two other sisters,” she smiled.

Kaitlyn noticed the slight change in Regina. The girl’s smile, and playful tone. She naturally had no idea what Regina was like when she was more relaxed. But, she was happy to see that their conversation on this ledge was helping both of them be more socialable. It was always helpful, in her opinion. “I’m glad to hear it,” she giggled.

Despite her rambling, Kaitlyn smiled brightly when Regina accepted her request. “Great! We’ll need to set something up. If you’d let me, I’d like to learn more about you … whatever you’re willing to share,” she continued. Her smile danced on her lips. She was happy about this, hoping she could be a good friend to Regina. ‘She may be different, but I like how much we share. I’m glad I met her. I’ll have to remember to try to finish Demeter’s training before that. I’d like Demeter to be able to play with Cosmo’ she thought.

Regina huffed sarcastically, “Oh yes, they’re very brilliant.” She twirled around with a strand of her hair, using her finger. Her sisters were not at all identical to Regina, despite them being triplets, both of them being loud and extroverted, though she was glad to have them as her siblings, for they added great joy to her life.

“Oh sure, here’s one, my sisters adore my feet, maybe that’s because their own feet were too stinky,” she winked playfully at Kaitlyn, still carrying the same expression she had when they first met, she wasn’t those kind of emotional girls.

“How about you? Does your twin sister have smelly feet too?” She wasn’t being serious, of course, but she would be surprised if the other girl actually took it seriously.

Her gaze drifted from Kaitlyn to Demeter, out of curiosity, she asked, “Was Demeter a wild bunny? Since you found her near the forest,” asked Regina, retracing what the slytherin girl had said minutes ago with ease.

Their conversation sure did help Regina feel more at home, she was getting kind of lonely within the castle before she met Kaitlyn, she was fine with the way she was, though she wasn’t sure if she liked it very much. Having a new change opens a new path for Regina, she wondered what adventures she would be having with her new friend.

Kaitlyn giggled at Regina’s reaction. She was well aware that not all sibilings were like her and Abigail, or with her younger brother, Timothy. That was perfectly fine with her. Not all twins, or triplets, behaved exactly the same. She actually liked to see twins that behaved differently. It helped tell them apart, after all.

At Regina’s statement about her sisters’ feet, Kaitlyn could not help but to burst out laughing. “That is a weird reason to like your feet,” she giggled, and amused expression played on her lips. At the question about Abigail, she shrugged. “I actually don’t know. I personally clean and moisturize my feet each day. I prefer wearing sandals when the weather is warmer. So, I like my feet,” she shrugged again, a smile on her face. “I also like to paint my toenails,” she continued. “If you want, I could like your feet too, so a girl with normal feet likes your feet,” she partially joked, giggling.

Kaitlyn looked to Demeter, who was still nuzzling her hand, and nodded. “Yes. I was actually outside practicing yoga … and yes, I froze doing that … But, I came across this cutie while in the middle of one of my poses. I think she was attracted to me, or the vegetables I brought with me. I scared her at first, but she eventually came back to me, and stayed with me when I fed her,” she giggled. She looked over at Cosmo. “How did you meet Cosmo?” She asked.

“That would be amusing, having someone with perfectly fine feet to like mine,” concluded Regina, with a sarcastic air, after pretending to think carefully.

“Demeter’s adorable,” she nodded, her blue eyes twinkling as her gaze fell down to the gray bunny, she was gazing at the small bunny as if it was made out of diamonds, she had always been a fan of animals, especially cute ones.

She was being waved back to reality as Kaitlyn addressed her a question.“Long story short, Cosmo was bought from the magical menagerie. There was a more sensitive looking cat, who backed away from my touch. My sister likes to tease how identical the cat was to me, which was mainly one of the reasons I didn’t choose that cat. Cosmo here was chosen for being cute and calm at the same time, we don’t need two Reginas at the Ravenclaw tower, now do we?” Joked Regina, while scratching the spot behind Cosmo’s ears. The silver mackerel tabby’s coat was sort of glowing from the direction the sunlight hit his fur. He gave out an enormous yawn before beginning to doze off.

“Can I try to pet Demeter?” Requested Regina politely.

Kaitlyn giggled and nodded. “They are your feet, it’s completely up to you who you decide to show them to. I personally don’t mind if anyone looks at my feet,” she giggled, teasing Regina lightly.

Kaitlyn turned her eyes down at her bunny and nodded. “I honestly fell in love with her, when I saw her. That’s why I tried to coax her to me,” she smiled at the memory, despite the chilly air. She neglected to tell her new friend that she had fallen hard on her rear and ended up with a bruised rear end for like a week.

“Aw, that’s such a cute story,” Kaitlyn gushed. “I think Cosmo is cute. But, I wouldn’t mind having two Regina’s around. I’m becoming friends with one,” she smiled to the Ravenclaw girl. “I’d love to meet Bellus at some point. If she’s as nice and interesting as you, it should be another interesting conversation,” she smiled brightly to her new friend. She didn’t know how particular Regina was about her sister. From the little she gleamed, she could tell that they didn’t exactly get along all the time.

“Yes, you may,” Kaitlyn giggled. She held out her hands, and Demeter obediently hopped on them. Smiling to her bunny, she held her out to Regina, for the girl to pet her bunny.

“Oh I’m sure your feet are better than my sisters’. You sure have to meet Bellus, be sure to stay away from her feet though, I’m serious. Even Demeter agrees with me, see?” She stated innocently, while hovering her hand closer to the bunny, expecting her to flinch or hide as she was being held out to a stranger. Regina was surprised to be proven wrong. She gently petted Demeter, the bunny’s fur texture was much different than Cosmo’s, being more fluffier and longer.

“She’s so cute,” she whispered again, melting from how adorable the little bunny was, it made her want to have one herself. “Oh please, wait until you find out the secret about the SpindleWheels, we all share the same pet-peeve. Which is, I’m not telling you,” A small smirk formed from the corner of her lips as she returned to petting Cosmo, her mind darting through multiple thoughts all at once. First was a fully planned list of things she would love to do with her new friend, second was wondering how Flora and Bellus were doing, she should write to them soon.

“Here,” she tore apart a page from her sketchbook neatly, handing the paper to Kaitlyn. “All the possible times we could meet.”

How Regina sounded, still the old well-planned and organized girl.

Kaitlyn nodded. “So, when I meet your sister, I’ll ask to see her feet,” she said through her giggles. She glanced down at her feet wondering just how much of their conversation was meant as a joke. “I know this will sound strange, but I’d love to see your feet at some point. I kind of doubt I’d find any repulsive.” She gave Regina a bright smile. “And I’ll wear sandals the next time I see you, so you can see my feet,” she promised.

Demeter fidgeted a little at Regina’s touch at first, but she quickly grew to like the petting. Kaitlyn giggled. “I think she likes you,” she responded. “And yes, she’s so cute,” she agreed. She giggled at Regina’s hint of a pet peeve. “Hey, you don’t have to tell me all your secrets all at once,” she joked.

Once Regina went back to petting Cosmo, Kaitlyn brought Demeter back to her and placed her on her lap. “May I pet Cosmo?” She asked in return.

Seeing Regina’s times listed out, a bright smile flashed on her face. “You do that too? I do this with my mornings. 6 am wake up and out the door by 6:10 to run around the grounds. 6:30 I’m back inside to practice yoga. 6:45 I’m meditating. All before breakfast at 7. When we have exams, I’ll probably do this too. I don’t plan my entire day like this, though. This is awesome!” She glanced down at the times listed. “Cool. I’ll be happy to oblige and meet you during some of these times. I’ll make sure to keep this safe,” she replied happily, putting the paper in her pocket.

Kaitlyn smiled and turned to Regina. “I think this is the beginning of a wonderful friendship. I like you as a friend already. Thanks for sticking with me,” she smiled sincerely and brightly.

Regina rolled her eyes at the mention of feet, she finds this feet conversation rather odd, though it made both of them understand each other better, so why not. Secretly Regina hoped Kaitlyn wasn’t really going to wear sandals next time they met, or the result would be hilarious, her sister would be laughing nonstop about how the all-time serious Regina asked to see another’s feet!

“Sure, you can pet Cosmo, though he might be a bit more sensitive than Demeter,” reminded Regina, while shuffling closer to the Slytherin girl so that she could pet Cosmo, who was resting on her lap. The silver striped cat’s eyes were narrowed at the other girl, ready to flee at the first sign of danger. “You’ll be fine,” she gently nudged Cosmo from the back. His ear twitched at Regina’s words, before walking out of her lap and taking a seat in between the two girls, allowing Kaitlyn to pet him.

“I think planning is essential for a human being,” she stated, switching the topic. “Thank you for being with me too, in fact, you’re my first friend that’s from Slytherin. It’s really nice to have someone outside of my family to talk to.”
