Sure, it was another calm--ish day in the classroom. He'd been in this classroom several times but obviously not for class. He had gotten in trouble for selling dangerous and highly harmful ingredients as potions. Then the time before that he was changing and another boy walked in and Clark had fought him. All around, it was safe to say that Clark was stupid for his actions and that he probably enjoyed the chaos and hell it brought.

He looked at the wall. A poster that he had made the other day was still hanging. It seems that no one had cared enough or didn't notice it since it wasn't torn down. He was wearing a bathrobe, yellow as a symbolism for his house but with a brown trim. He had his wand in the right pocket of the bathrobe and his hair was spiky and messy as if he had bedhead.

Taking advantage of him currently being by himself in the room, he withdrew his wand. "Lubricus." He muttered. He was specifically targeting the door handle to the entrance of the classroom so hopefully if a professor or prefect came by, he'd be able to have a prolonged period of doing whatever he wanted rather than busted immediately.

This left him time to plan for the next 'potion' snakeoil shop should he open one up again. It just meant he needed to do better than he did last time. Loudly proclaiming and largely publicizing his sale of 'real' potions would've likely been his downfall.

No, perhaps he needed to make it look like he wasn't up to no good, wasn't up to setting desks on fire. He needed to be an angel for once and not the angel of death. He left the door open and began brushing off the desks and began to pick up what he considered garbage.

Clark had cast Lubricus on the door handle (the corridor side not the 'inside-the-classroom' side.)
A jinx that made an object slippery and difficult to hold.

BUT he decides to leave the door open instead.

Viva was having a rough day. All her classes had been boring, and she had gotten a P on an essay for one of them. Someone shoved her in the halls, and she'd gotten lost again because of those crazy moving staircases! It was pretty dark and gloomy outside, too, so she hadn't gone out of the castle.

Sighing, she walked along one of the corridors. I can't believe I got a P... Learning was very important to Viva, even if she didn't necessarily like it. She usually got good grades, but this one time was an exception.

She continued on her way, not knowing exactly where she was going. I guess I'll just explore the castle a little more... maybe it'll help me stop getting lost so much, she thought dismally. Adjusting her Hufflepuff robes and glancing at the portraits on the wall, she turned a corner.

Suddenly, she heard a faint sound coming from a classroom up ahead. Viva, curiosity getting the best of her, walked closer to the room. It looked like the door was open. Flipping her long braid over her shoulder, she stepped inside.

A boy wearing a bathrobe was in there... cleaning up? It didn't look very messy to Viva. He didn't seem to have noticed her yet. She observed for a few more minutes as he brushed the desks off, then took another step and accidentally stepped on a creak in the floor...

Clark muttered a sigh of deep regret, feeling like it was basically pointless to just clean up the litter in the classroom. He wasn't the janitor! Nor was he the teacher, this was their job! Aside from making him miserable and for making students do the torturous and treacherous methods that they call 'homework.'

Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw a girl staring at him. His head turned in hope, and desperation that it was the girl he loved, the only one he felt he would ever date. But alas, it wasn't Alyssea. It was someone he had never met before.

Screw looking like he was the most innocent person in the world that had changed for the better. Screw that! He withdrew his wand and pointed it towards the girl. "Serpensortia!" He screamed loudly, envisioning a diamondback rattlesnake, with the diamonds on its back brown, the main scales being a dirty shade of tan, and the outlines of the diamond shapes being black.

"Enjoy." Clark stated calmly as he hopped up onto a desk as the snake was summoned. He proceeded to continue staring at the girl, trying to figure out how she would handle this situation. Was she going to attempt to kill it? Run away? Sacrifice the much shorter boy for summoning it?

The boy turned his head, and for a second Viva saw an expression of hope and longing, but that changed in an instant once he saw her.

Before she could blink an eye, he had pulled out his wand for no apparent reason. She opened her mouth to ask what he was doing, but he had already cast a spell. One Viva had never heard of, and she was horrified when she saw the giant six foot long diamondback rattlesnake he had summoned. She had never been partially fond of snakes, but this, this was pure terror. The colour quickly drained from her face as she stood there, frozen in place. What did I do? Why did he do that? How can I survive?

Viva wasn't even registering what the boy was doing, she was too shocked and terrified to pay attention to anything but the scaly, slithering reptile as it slowly wound and unwound it's coils, hissing. She remembered something about how these snakes were extremely venomous and their bite could be fatal to humans, and also that they were aggressive and easily excitable. It looked pretty excited right now as it slithered closer and closer.

The snake shook the tip of it's tail, producing a chilling rattle sound. It hissed, long tongue protruding from it's scaly mouth.

Viva realized she had to do something. This snake was deadly. She fumbled around in her pocket, trying to find her wand. The snake lunged, and she shrieked and fell backwards into a desk. It had missed, by a fraction.

Shoving herself up as the rattlesnake advanced on her once more, she grabbed her wand and took a deep breath. She didn't know barely any spells yet, and none that got rid of giant angry snakes (at least that she could remember).

The snake was slowly backing her into a corner. Viva's eyes were wide with fear and she was shaking uncontrollably. She tripped over a book that had been left on the floor by some student, and fell to the ground. She was on her back, with one hand propping her up and the other clutching the wand as tightly as she could. Do something right now! You're about to die! Her brain was racing. She felt icy chills running down her back.

Gripping her wand, forced into a defenseless position on the floor with a terrifying deadly predator right in front of her, she raised her hand, preparing to fire a spell - and the snake lunged, knocking the wand out of her hand as she tucked in her arm to avoid the bite. It flew across the room.

Viva was panting in terror, tears springing to her eyes as the snake advanced again, now directly over her. It prepared to lunge in for the fatal bite. There was nothing she could do to stop it.

Obviously, he would've fluffed up, a small little kiss on the boo-boo wouldn't fix the girl's problem so obviously if he wanted to play idiot like he normally would've, he would've instead been held responsible for his own stupidity, his own actions and his own words would be used against him. He felt that if word got out he would be taken to the courts instead of to the headmaster's office, that his own punishment would instead be life imprisonment for such a juvenile craft.

He faced the girl, exhaling a breath of regret. "I'm sorry. I... react in stupid manners and if anything, it is why I'm such a problematic user. Um, yeah I'll just extinguish the snake for you before it bites you, don't want you to end up like Finnegan..." He said, trying to avoid another encounter with Xailah, trying to avoid trouble.

"Vipera Evanesca!" His wand moved as he said the incantation. His eyebrows burrowed and he took note of the snake vanishing.

"No hard feelings?" He proposed as kindly as he possibly could, knowing he was likely to contradict himself. His hand brushed through his hair, the bouncy effect adding to the strands as it went through. "I'll pay you... a knut if you don't say anything."

Heart beating a million miles a minute, Viva stared up at the boy. She was panting like crazy, and still felt petrified even though the snake was gone. I could have died... She blinked a few times, trying to get the tears out of her eyes.

Finnegan? Who's Finnegan? Some other poor victim attacked by a giant snake? Did he survive? Viva was still staring at the boy, feeling so confused and traumatized. She could barely take in a word the boy was saying, her mind was fixed on one thought: Get away from here. She jerkily jumped to her feet, her eyes watching his.

Feeling like a trapped animal without her wand, she backed into the corner again. Did he just say no hard feelings? Who is this maniac? I walk into a room, he tries to kill me. What kind of person does that?

Viva's eyes darted to her wand and back, trying to decide what to do. I need to get out of here. Then the boy dared to bribe her not to tell anyone. What?! Still barely comprehending what was happening, she lunged forward, trying to push past the boy and get to her wand, which was still on the other side of the room.

The boy knew the girl was not likely to forgive him so why would he just extend a gesture he did not want shared in the first place? To hell with kindness. The part goblin used his wand once again. This was a spell he was not intending to cast because the main problem with it was that if the girl was too weak to resist the effects of the spell, she would remain trapped.

He groaned, wishing his higher years would arrive sooner than later just so he could finally use the portrait curse. Oh that was a dream he dreamt of every night. Clark performed the wand movement, concentrating on the girl lunging for her wand. "Petrificus Totalus." He said harshly.

"If you ever make it out of that bind, you're in a world of trouble dearie." Clark said, taking this opportunity to snatch up her wand. Clark calmly walked out of the room, his wand in his right hand and the girl's wand in his left hand. He paused.

"You know, you might actually win some fights if you get some practice in..." The goblin drawled, taking the opportunity to stuff his and her wand into his bathrobe just so he could close the door and lock her in.

Now that he was out of her sight, he would lay her own wand down on the floor where the floor met the wall, in the shadow. And he was off. He was off to go find someone else to terrorize.
Clark has left the thread and cast the full body bind curse on Genevieve

Viva was so close... she reached out her hand and almost grabbed her wand... and then the boy's voice echoed through the room. "Petrificus Totalus."

It all happened in a split second, but Viva was lucky enough to have still been moving when the boy shot the spell at her - it missed her by a hair. Thinking fast, she froze, pretending to have been hit by the spell. Trying to make it look unintentional, she let herself fall to the floor. Mind racing a thousand miles a minute, Viva tried to remain motionless, staring blankly at the ceiling.

She tried not to scream as the boy pocketed her wand and started walking towards the door. Biting her lip ferociously, she froze again as he turned back. Did he seriously just say that? Viva's heart was still beating fast, and she was trying to contain her breathing as the boy walked out of the room and closed the door.

Viva leapt to her feet with a strangled cry as soon as the boy had left the room. My wand! What was even happening right now? She rushed to the door, grabbed the handle, and turned it. Locked. Rats. What now?

In full panic mode, Viva forgot all logic and began beating on the door. "Let me out! Let me out!" She screamed her voice hoarse, then almost started crying again. With a surge of fear and anger, Viva kicked the old door very hard. She heard a crack, and stopped. A few pieces of wood were breaking off! She kicked again, and a small chunk of the door splintered off. Panting like crazy, Viva dove through the tiny hole, barely making it into the corridor.

As soon as Viva was free, she raced to the common room without looking back.
