Lily McCoire was walking towards her DADA classroom to get some free time in studying and practicing her spells. She had been terrible so far on her homework that the professor literally gave her extra homework. So now she had to do more homework. On top of all her other classes. She swung her bag to her other shoulder as she walked a little faster. She was dreading having to do this extra homework because it was such a beautiful day out. And she wanted to be spending time with her newly found boyfriend, Bailey Ledges. But I guess the stars didn't have it in her favor. After all, she had been spending such a long time on her homework and classes she been barely able to spend time with Bailey. Their schedules just never seemed to match up. The weekend was about the only time the two had together.
Lily arrived at the DADA classroom and opened the door stepping in and shutting it behind her. Almost immediately, she had to duck as a spell nearly hit her. "What the hell?!?! You cast random spells at a person walking in a classroom??" Lily snapped straightening up and keeping her wand out in case he attacked her.

There was always fun to be had at Hogwarts, even in the middle of learning and that was exactly what Argahlon Vexius was up to. There were other classmates around watching him cast spells in all sorts of directions, just to prove that he was just as good with a wand instead of a broom. The laughing and carrying on continued throughout the Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom with a careful eye from the professor, of course. Arg didn’t care that the professor was watching and he certainly didn’t care if he broke the rules. All he cared for at the time was his girlfriend, Quidditch, and learning spells. Not much else caught the young Gryffindor’s attention.

"Flipendo!" He shouted with their wand aimed at the door of the classroom. Just as the spell conjured up and shot out towards the door, it began to open and a young red headed girl came walking in. Luckily she ducked because that would have sent her right back where she came from. When she retaliated with words, that was when Argahlon began to laugh. "Oi, maybe you should be better prepared, mate. Next time I won’t miss." He threatened, while keeping the wand in their hand for the time being. There was no doubt in Arg’s mind that this girl would get on his nerves, so he wanted to try and press some buttons to see if it worked.

Lily stared at the boy that had cast the spell with a mix of irritation, anger, and a whole lot of annoyance. This boy didn't seem like he felt remorse for nearly knocking her backward out of the classroom.. She could tell he was a Gryffindor and obviously a second year, and to her he seemed arrogant. Like he could no bad and he was the little perfect prince. Which sorry to burst his little bubble, but he's not. He reminded her of one of her old enemies back when she went to muggle school, before she found out she was a witch. That guy was so arrogant that criticism simply rolled off him and he could bully and hurt whoever he wanted with no remorse.
Lily gave him a death glare as he said next time he wouldn't miss. "Is that supposed to be a threat?" She growled, taking a step toward him, her hand tightening on the handle of her wand. She knew this guy was most likely to test her button and she was not in the mood. Not at all . No one messes with redheads. No one. Not even her own besties. You can be friends with a hippogriff but if you get on their bad side they will kill you.

The young Gryffindor with scars across their face slowly put the wand up the sleeve of the robe he was wearing, while shaking their head slightly at what he was hearing. This was it, he was already pissed off and ready to march up to this girl but he didn’t. He stared directly at her with a sinister glare and chuckled. "And why would I waste such time on a mudblood, anyways? You should probably sit down before you embarrass yourself, mate." He stated in response. The tension was now tighter than ever, but Argahlon didn’t care one bit. He intended on pushing their buttons until something would happen.

The teacher seemed to be face-deep in some homework that needed grading, so it seemed that these two were safe to keep throwing insults at one another. But Arg had no issues with hitting a girl, especially if he was just defending himself in a sense. There was no need for physical altercation, not yet at least. There was still so much fun to be had with the back and forth insults. One way or another, the young Gryffindor was going to keep poking fun at the red headed girl, even if the teacher would end up trying to discipline him.

Lily gritted her teeth as she glared at the boy and put her own wand away. She glanced at the professor and seeing that he was busy looked at the boy. And then he said the word. Mudblood. She may be a muggleborn but she was and will always be related to Colin McCoire, a wizard-born. "What the fuck did you just call me?" Lily snarled taking a step towards him. "That's a terrible thing to say. You don't even know me. And anyway i am related to a wizard-born so there." Her eyes flashing dangerously, she stared at him in the eyes, just daring him to test her firther than he already has. Because he sure was testing her. And she took no one calling her a mudblood. Oh if only Colin was here. He would deal with this and then this guy would wish he had never messed with her. Or at least, never messed with the sister/ cousin of Colin McCoire. Just thinking about made her smirk to herself. The hag doll that tried to kiol her a year previous is dead...and that was that. Colin had made it clear that anybody trying to mess with his family will be hurt. Very very hurt .

Argahlon could see the fire burning in their fellow Gryffindor’s eyes and it caused him to crack a smile. It was working, Lily was truly getting angry with the words Arg chose to say to her. He was amused and having a grand old time, crossing his arms against their chest with pride spreading along his face. That was the Gryffindor pride that everyone spoke about, but that was just the tip and Argahlon now knew how to get in the skin of this girl, so he would continue on with the intent to completely piss off Lily in the process.

When she finished speaking, that was when Argahlon put on a more serious expression. "Oi, if I cared, I would have asked, but obviously I don’t. Like I said before, mate, sit down before you embarrass yourself." He stated with a glare aimed at Lily. She may have stepped forward, but that did not mean Arg was threatened in any way from her actions. He continued to stand his ground and watch the chaos unfold. The professor may have been present in class and that alone could be the factor to end this whole conversation, but they seemed to be face-deep in their work so that would give them a bit of leeway.

Lily glared at the boy, her eyes glaring. "You are such a arsehole, you know that i hope? " she said with a sweet, fake smile that should make him warier but probably didn't. He sure was annoying and in itself it annoyed her to the point of wanting to punch him. He was an arsehole and apparently he didn't care if he hurt others or not. She felt sorry for anyone who fell in love with him because he probably wouldn't treat them that right.
She decided to teach him a little lesson by getting on his nerves...and getting on his nerves good. "Is that stick up your arse making you so irritable? Or is that your usual charming self?" Lily asked with a smirk, allowing ber words to sink in. Lily would enjoy doing this very, very much, seeing how far his limits woul go before he snapped. The professor was still absorbed in his work, but if things got too far out of hand she would get his attention before it escalated to either of them getting hurt. Even if it meant having to take a detention for this boy's idiocy. Though if he got hurt it might teach him a lesson.

As Lily called Argahlon an arsehole, he immediately began to laugh and hold onto his stomach in the process. But in the blink of an eye the expression on their face turned serious once more. "Innit a bit of a coincidence that I feel the same about you, mate?" He responded, looking around at the other students who seemed to be enjoying the conflict going on. Arg completely ignored their happy little faces, while turning his full attention back to the red headed Gryffindor. There was a bit of silence and he just stared through her soul, as if it belonged to him in the first place.

Argahlon was unphased by the words coming from Lily because it was not like he hadn't heard this before. Arg knew he was hated and that was something that he thrived on. Making other’s lives a living hell just to please him, that was the thing he looked to do in moments like this. "You don’t stop, do you? All I heard was, I’m a dirty mudblood over and over." He chuckled lightly, while continuing to stare down their fellow Gryffindor, hoping that she would soon retaliate in some sort of way, even if that meant the two would fight, Araghlon would be all for it.

Lily glared at him her fists curling as she fought an instinct to punch him. "Me an arsehol? You are the worst I've ever met." Lily spat, ignoring the stares from other students as she took another step toward him. She had never felt angrier in her life and that was saying something. Even when her and Colin weren't on speaking terms she wasn't this angry. She wouldn't want to lose control of her magic and hurt him though to be honest that really wasn't a loss. The world could do without guys like him.
Then he said it again. Dirty mudblood. She lost all ounce of self-control she possessed and launched herself at him as she raised a fist and hit him in the eye. "Don't you ever, ever call me a mudblood again, do you understand me?" Lily snarled hitting him again her eyes filled with rage. She had never hit a guy before but she was making an exception for this idiot. She reached for her wand and hoped beyond hopes that the professor was still fully submerged in his work and totally not seeing them go at each other lime wild animals. But it felt really good.

There it was, the anger that Argahlon was looking for this entire time. It was literally oozing from Lily’s expression and words thrown at the Gryffindor boy. When she spit on the floor that was the moment he knew he had her reeled in. "Aye, dorcus, did I stutter?" He responded with a shake of their head. Was he annoyed with having to deal with such a situation, of course he was. He wanted nothing more than to jump forward and begin to pummel Lily’s face into the flooring of the Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom. But he didn’t have to, because Lily beat him to it.

The first fist went flying, cracking Argahlon right against the cheekbone. His face twisted from the impact and it certainly hurt, but he was not going to show it. Not yet. "Oi, you filthy mudblood!! I-" He was quickly cut off when another fist slammed right against his chin, knocking him back into the seat. Good thing the seat was there to catch him because if not, Argahlon may be on the ground right now seeing stars.

As he shook off the pain and wiped the blood from his cheek, Argahlon glared once more at the fellow Gryffindor, but the expression quickly turned into a smirk. "Meet me in the Duelling Club, where I don’t have to hold back from teaching you a lesson in front of all these people." He stated, while standing back to their feet with the school book in their right hand. He started walking off towards the exit but stopped, looked over their shoulder, and smiled lightly. "What are you waiting for, dorcus! Come fight me with magic." Argahlon turned and finally made their exit.
