Playing with Pets
Charms had just ended, "Thank god." Alyx thought to herself as she packed up her books and strode out of the classroom. She didn't nessicarily have anything against the teacher, or the class, it was just a very hard subject for Alyx to ace. As Alyx walked around the grounds trying to get to her dorm she noticed it was a nice day, "Tarma would enjoy the weather today..." she mused while striding across the grounds to the west tower.
When Alyx got to her dorm she set her books down on her bed,"I have sometime to spare" she reasoned with herself, so she unlatched the lock on Tarma's travel cage (also the owl's sleeping cage) and gently took him out and he perched on her shoulder. "Right then," Alyx said smiling as she closed his cage, "I think we ought to enjoy the day, Tarma." With this she went down the stairs of the west tower and eventually out to the courtyard.
Alyx walked outside into the courtyard with Tarma perched on her shoulder. The day was chill, but not frigid, and and took in the atmosphere for a bit. Tarma visibly enjoyed this cold weather as he let out a few musical trills. There was a gentile breeze stirring the leaves on the trees that set a peaceful atmosphere on the courtyard. Out of the corner of her eye she could see someone else approaching @Tracey Bailey and she was about to go greet them, when a small flash of fur hopped across her path. @Kaitlyn Connor

Playing with Pets
Leaf perched on the stone wall of the courtyard, relaxing in the mild breeze with sketchbook in hand. The sketch they were working on wasn't that great already, however Mei took that moment to walk across the page, leaving behind two muddy footprints right in the middle. "Mei, seriously?" The little cat looked up at them with innocent eyes. Leaf shut the sketchbook and put it away in their bag (it was too warm to wear a coat today.)
Across the courtyard, Leaf could see a girl with an owl, enjoying the weather as many others would be as well - Mei leapt off their lap and curled around their ankles before watching the owl intently. "You can go there if you like." Immediately, she sprinted off to join the owl, and Leaf followed behind at a slower pace after slinging their bag over their shoulder. Follow the cat.
They approached, and Mei was circling the owl playfully. Maybe the girl hadn't noticed yet, so Leaf stayed at a distance, keeping a close watch on the cat to ensure she didn't cause trouble. Not that she would, but Leaf just wanted to make sure. They sat back down on another stone slab and watched.

Thoughts: italicsKaitlyn walked down a corridor, cuddling her bunny, Demeter. Ever since she found the bunny during a (very cold) yoga practice, she was trying to train the bunny. Demeter was successfully staying with her, as she walked, which was good. It was when they stopped, or got startled, that she ran off a lot. Also when there were a lot of other people, or animals. Kaitlyn found her bunny to be pretty similar to her, in the sense that they were both shy. Thankfully, she had food to coax the bunny the first time, but that was not always going to work. Or she wouldn’t always have food with her. Perhaps she could look into growing some plants in her dorm?
For the time being, Kaitlyn had already finished her homework, and so she wanted to take Demeter on a walk to the courtyard, and to let her run around a bit. After all, she wanted Demeter to get enough exercise each day, and the best time for that was when she did not have much homework. Or at least, very little work. As much fun as it was to play with Demeter, she wanted to be a responsible pet owner, and not let her new bunny impact her grades.
As Kaitlyn rounded the corner, she spotted a familiar pink hairstyle, along with two other girls. Her smile grew as she noticed Tracey. Tiger would of course be there, too. She could feel Demeter stirring in her arms, sniffing away. “What’s wrong, Demeter?” She asked, as she could feel Demeter moving. Frowning slighly, she could feel Demeter’s uneasiness, as she got closer. Before she could greet the girls, Demeter jumped from her arms and scampered away from the other pets.
“Demeter!” Kaitlyn shouted after her bunny. She ran over to where Tracey was, her face slightly flushed. “Have you seen my bunny run past here?” She asked, slightly out of breath from worry.Reducio

Playing with Pets
Alyx watched as Tarma few off of her shoulder and onto the ground, picking at the little green bits poking out between the stones. Tarma let out little trills as he hopped from stone to stone and flew around Alyx. Alyx smiled, as Tarma curiously examined everything in the courtyard, not missing a spot and trilling at everything. A sleek black cat then trotted up to Tarma, circling him playfully and examining him @Leaf Shard, and his response was to stare at the cat in return. Tarma studied the cat for a few moment before slowly apreaching the cat in a friendly manner. Alyx bent down and pet the cat with a smile on her face, "Oh hello kitty!" she spotted Leaf out of the corner of her eye and began to stand.
A familiar voice greeted Alyx and she stood straight up once more @Tracey Bailey. Alyx smiled as she saw Tracey, "Oh! Hey Tracey. I've been doing fine I suppose, came out here for a small break from classes." bending down again, Alyx pet Tiger, cooing a greeting.
Suddenly a girl ran up to them, her face was distraught and slightly flushed, "Have you seen my bunny run past here?" @Kaitlyn Connor Alyx stood up straight and pointed in the direction where the flash of fur went, "That was your fluff ball? Yes I think I saw it run over there. I can help you catch it if you'd like?"
As Alyx gazed over to one side of the court yard she gasped and smiled as another cat gracefully scampered up to the group, "Ooh! More kitties!" she glanced down at the new cat and watched as Tarma greeted her and the other cats with curious looks and beak boops. Alyx looked in the direction where the cat came from and spotted a girl around her own age,"oh hello there!" Alyx waved to the girl in greeting. @March Calister
